Sun Java Blue For Men

Refreshing to see peach in a mens frag. It smells synthetic at opening, fruity and fresh. Unisex. Cologne. Dries down to a less synthetic heart. A distinct 80’s summer fragrance that my mom used to wear springs to mind. A nice teleportation to happier times. Very nice and uplifting. Reminds me more of a fruiter Nautica. Soapy in a good way. I smell something like violet too. Hmm. Do not see this as similar to Versace MEF or the copy thereafter Antonio Banderas BS. No way, bc there are no funkiness at all. Neither is it similar to Light Blue, even though they both are very soapy - this is more bright and does not have that much of a woody base coming thru. Hey now I got it. Actually this reminds me a bit of Mugler Cologne (which I adore). Same vibe with the powdery musk but less spicy and more orange/fruity. This could be a priceworthy alternative to Mugler Cologne to check out. Not a copy but the same vibe.

Fruity, Fresh, Blue, and bloody heck it's CHEAP. This is an excellent warm-weather fragrance, with a youthful and playful flair, but not at all lacking in complexity or class. Initially, it's all about the fruit. There's no note mentioned, but there's an aquatic touch which justifies the Au Fraiche comparison (but only just). Then, as the dry-down kicks in, the oakmoss, wood and moss combine to offer a comfortingly soft but solid base reminiscent of freshly laundered sheets. Best for summer and spring days, but don't discount it as an all occasions dumb reach.

This is almost a perfect Blue fragrance! It smells like and reminds you of a beach. It's not the usual aquatic, it's more of a fruity Blue type of fragrance. It's subtle and smooth and it performs well. This makes me think of the sun in Florida or the Caribbean. This is very nice and it's very affordable. You can blind buy this easily. It's a bright and easy going fragrance for warm weather.

I blind bought this and it's alright but nothing special. Initially, I get a fruity blast that's mostly lemon and apple. Between 5-30 minutes, the only prominent notes I get are peach and something pinchy that reminds me of pine. Not in a bad way, but this honestly reminds me of walking into a furniture store or freshly painted/carpeted room. VERY synthetic and similar to how new plastic or vinyl smells. After 30 min, the pine and peach notes fade and you are left with a faint sharp synthetic fruity mashup with a tiny hint of woods. I never got much if any orange at all. I've never tried Light Blue but have Blue Seduction and while close, this is less soapy, less aquatic, and more pinchy/sharp. This also reminds me of St. Kitts but less tropical. They're all in the same category and probably redundant to own more than one. My biggest complaint by far is longevity. 5 sprays and it's a skin sent at around 1hr. For $20, it's alright but I'd have passed if I sampled this first. Not my worst blind buy by far and I'll keep it. Makes me think of being on a cruise or summer at the beach.

Smells like peach sparkling water to me. Overall it's a good cheap fragrance and it will probably do good in daytime of summer.

I get mostly a lemon and moss haze. This is more woody than aquatic imo. This doesn't project or has sillage. This is a decent scent but I wouldn't replace this after I have used it up. Sun Java Intense is wayyyyy better.

This is my first review on Fragrantica. I was excited to pick this up for the low price of $24. I have the original Sun Java and I also own Oud Touch. Those are good and long lasting considering the cost. This on the other hand is a disgrace. It should not have slipped passed quality control. It is very weak,very faint ,reminiscent of watered down kool aid. My apologies to kool aid. When companies put this type of garbage out, we should call them out on it.Once again, this is a disgrace. I cannot wear this and would be embarrased to gift it to anyone. I will smash the bottle on the inside of my garbage dump. Shame on you Franck Oliver.You have been warned. Stay away from this.
