Blondine

This is special stuff. I've been struggling with descriptives, however, since testing this for the first time last month. Despite being a prolific sampler, I've only recently discovered Frassai and I'm incredibly impressed with their offerings - truly some of the best perfumes I've tried in recent years. Blondine is perhaps their most traditional floral, though it's anything but simple. My feelings seem a bit different than many of the previous reviewers here - this is NOT a gourmand, despite having some modest gourmandish flourishes. It's a creamy, buttery floral that is so seamlessly blended it's quite difficult to dissect the components. There are definitely references to old-school florals of the 1970's and 1980's here, but with a more delicate touch. The notes include tiger lily, though I cannot claim past experience with that particular flower. I perceive it as being near the midpoint between jasmine and magnolia, if that makes any sense. I can clearly sense the textures of vanilla and cacao here, but not their traditional aromas. This is not particularly sweet, but rather caressingly rich and dense. To look at the listed notes, you would suspect this to be a cool weather scent. But surprisingly, this stuff is heady and beautiful in warm weather without feeling cloying or oppressive. There is something undeniably "perfumed" about this scent - but rather than feeling generic, it just strikes me as comfortable, somehow familiar, and yet implacable. The lingering scent of a worldly and refined woman, a delicate boucle blouse. Having said that, I'm a guy who will happily wear this. It has above average longevity and lovely sillage that is just enough to reach out and touch those in your very close proximity. The final impression just seems to be much more than the sum of its parts. I'd like to imagine that Audrey Hepburn might have worn something like this. Very highly recommended.

I've never wanted to eat a lily before, but Blondine is making me consider it. Muguet has natural creamy and fatty facets, and a caramely sweetness to it, that Blondine takes-up-a-couple-notches to a mouthwatering level. The opening of the perfume is quite green, but only very briefly; the lily is still a bud and preparing to bloom, and as such it smells raw and vegetal. But then it does bloom, and it releases its bounty into the air. Caramels, cream, a floral accord that bridges white and yellow, heady musks, rich chocolate, and a meaty/leathery facet amplified by some castoreum in the base. Luca Turin famously described lily's heady character as smelling of ham. I found that amusing, while also not quite understanding it. Lilies are my mother's favorite flower, we had them everywhere in the garden and the house, and not once do recall thinking "ham", but in Blondine I make the connection. I can understand a very logical leap to a caramel glazed ham in this perfume with something a bit fruity floral, like the ham was baked with pineapple or apple. Blondine is sweet but not sickly so, floral, unctuous and luscious, and sort of sexy in a peculiar way - perhaps playful and flirty. As with the best of the Frassai brand, the perfume is wonderfully built; it stays on message and on task throughout the entirety of its long life, never losing cohesion or letting a particular material or note become dead weight. There's not a whole lot for me to say about Blondine, honestly. It is pretty simple, therefore my thoughts on it are pretty simple. But in its simplicity is true beauty and clarity that is just really, really pleasant to smell. Excellent work.

Blondine is such a dreamy, wonderful scent of creamy, hypnotic lilies and soft suede on a buttery caramel base. The notes list on fragrantica is not quite correct, on the official site it's salted butter caramel and not salt, butter and caramel separately. There is also no official suede note, only castoreum, which is said to smell leather-like. If you're sceptical about animalic scents, don't be afraid, this doesn't smell dirty at all. It just has an elegant, femine leathery note, which is especially noticeable in the opening along with the crisp fruity notes, but never fully vanishes. In the drydown the delicious butter caramel note shines, but the lily, suede and musk keep it from being a true gourmand. I feel all the notes are so carefully chosen. If they used a different flower instead of the cool lily, the scent would not stand out from other gourmand-ish florals like it does. The pear leaf and green mandarin are also just perfect and couldn't be replaced with sweeter fruit notes, and the combination of tonka and caramel instead of a simple vanilla makes the scent so smooth and delectable. The castoreum is just the genius edge the scent needs. Really one of the most impressive fragrances I have smelled in the lasts months, and very versatile too. This would make a great signature. It has it all: Warmth and freshness, darkness and light, and a magical creamy texture. If you like lilies, caramel and leather, I see no reason to dislike Blondine.

I don't like perfumes that are gourmand, or too warm. So what do I do - throw 180 eur out the window and blind buy a perfume with notes like salted caramel and butter. Why? Because of my unwavering confidence in the perfumer Yann Vasnier, who has created so much good stuff for Divine. Blondine is definitely not gourmand to my nose. Yes, if I follow the development spritzed on my hand I do find that famous salted butter note about half an hour into wear. Wearing the fragrance I get freshly cut lilies from the florist, still a bit green, on a warm and so slightly spicy background, like a bakery. The "silhouette" of the fragrance is like that of a creamy white tropical floral but without the actual flowers, like jasmine, that can be headache triggering on me. All in all I would call Blondine a beautiful, kind and warm fragrance that I prefer to wear during winter. Lasting power is not great, about 6 hours. The bottle is annoyingly heavy and clunky glass. Add. OMG what a scam, the bottle only holds 50ml even though it's so big. This is my most expensive frag per ml. Still sitting here in a beautiful cloud of lilies like a clown...

Blondine is a perfect. Warm natural Oriental Floral, with a beautiful touch of caramel that doesn't smell thick. Not so sweet as to be edible, despite knowing that one could eat an orange caramel cake with edible flowers, baked with less sugar. Sweet enough to be imagined as blissfully delicious on the tongue, but so full of fresh lilies that it takes you to a fine garden immediately. Not very high sillage--I can get very gentle wafts of Blondine--making me believe that this contains more natural accords. The sensuality here is closer to the skin. When I really love a perfume I enjoy having a bit of sillage, but if I don't I will just sneak deep breaths from my inner arm or wrist whenever I can. I would love a full bottle. I really don't know which Frassai is my favorite, they are all very beautiful and so natural-smelling--but for now I have a lily obsession, so this sample will be drained far before I can bear to part with it:(

When my sample arrived, I tested it straight away and mainly got butter. After 24-48 hour of letting my sample recover from shipping, the scent had improved and was perfectly balanced! Just something to keep in mind. This is a gorgeous, buttery, Tiger Lilly scent. Those are the main two notes I detect on my skin. It’s tropical with a bit of a warm feel. Absolutely intoxicating! The notes are well balanced. I don’t get any musk and can’t pick out any other notes individually, which I’m fine with. Perfect for spring, summers, or probably even all year round. It would make a really nice date night perfume. I bought a full bottle and can’t wait for it to arrive! I’m so excited to have this in my collection. This isn’t anything like Allure by Chanel. I am a tropical floral lover, but this is unique to my collection and different to anything else I’ve smelt. I Love, love, love it!

So far it's all rave reviews for Blondine and I can see why. A really nice, not sharp, waxy lily is at the top, paired with a clean musk and a sugared caramel. I can feel the leather grounding the opening more than I can actually smell it, if that makes sense. As it dries down, I actually do smell a little butter, which surprised me! Some listed notes aren't there for me but I could care less. It's classic and timeless. A couple other people mentioned princesses and warrior princesses and I agree. You know how there are perfumes that smell good in a perfume sense, and then perfumes that smell good in an every kind of way, sense? This is the latter. It's the florals, it's the creamy sweetness, it's the leather, or maybe it's just the butter, but it's all gorgeous. Daytime? Not sure. But this is a very sexy scent, without any aggression. Better suited for special occasions.

A VERY buttery, musky, sueded floral. Smells amazing! It has an unmistakable creamy butter note that is so unique and exquisite. I also smell some exotic florals, possibly jasmine or something similar. Deep in the base, after a couple hours on my skin, I notice a musky cocoa-tinged lily. Blondine isn’t a chocolate fragrance, as the cocoa is extremely subtle and well-blended, nor is it particularly sweet. It’s more of a floral-musk than a gourmand. This is a very textural fragrance. I can actually feel the fatty butter in the back of my throat. I smell lots of suede, but It doesn’t just smell like suede, it “feels” like suede too. Blondine is a highly intriguing fragrance and an exceptional example of the perfect blend of artistry and technical skill. This is my 3rd bottle purchase from Frassaï.

Blondine is in my opinion an extremely feminine perfume. It opens slightly green and citric, bringing some freshness at the top, giving way to a heart of exotic flowers, revealing the beautiful lilies, sweet and waxy with oriental facets, enriched with cocoa with creamy nuances. As it evolves it smells powdery (reminding me of the smell of luxury makeup) and very elegant in a beautiful symphony of vintage vibes. Animalic notes, such as musk and castoreum, add texture to the drydown with the warmth and sensuality of tonka bean wrapped in harmonious, soft accords of suede. The substantivity on my skin reaches 8/10 hours. Diffusion and wake is moderate to soft. BLONDINE is sensual, feminine, elegant, delicate, soft, but no less intense.

Buttery, sweet, musky goodness. I mostly smell the white florals, butter, musk, and suede in this. (My husband gets some citrus notes when he smells me, but I don't smell it. He also gets some coffee, maybe from the cocoa and tonka notes.) This scent seems fine for all seasons, day or night. I think this smells classy and a little mature--I can see a lot of women in their 30s enjoying it, while some younger women may feel it is "too old." I'm in my 20s and feel it is easily wearable for anyone 20-100. It reminds me a lot of Chameleon by Zoologist, but better in every way (so if you hate Chameleon, this may still be worth testing). Blondine is Chameleon's classier, refined cousin who can kick ass and take names when necessary.

"I like to feel blonde all over." - Marilyn Monroe. As it turns out, so do I. Now that my hair is ash blonde as opposed to red, I feel I fit this beautiful perfume. I also seem to have lucked out because wearing Blondine on my skin brings out the butter, caramel, cacao and suede notes that some people find are sadly lacking. Performance is moderate to long lasting, with a spellbinding trail. Seems to suit colder months or evening wear as I find it can be a bit cloying on hot Summer days. Shines like moonlight when worn in bed on white satin sheets. Anyone feeling a little underwhelmed by Blondine should try Creme de Cuir by BDK Parfums. Less white floral and more musky with a very sophisticated suede note.

Opens with a burst of white lilies and green citrus. After a few minutes the lilies mellow and brown sugar crystals warm up. The sugar gradually melts into the smell of browning butter. After an hour or so the butter and sugar condense to a salty sweet caramel dusted with dry cocoa. The lilies remain as a sweet vanilla high note that peek in and out. This reminds me of a heavier/more substantial Vanille Galante. They aren’t the same; they just have a similar feel. I appreciate both in my collection, but if forced to choose at gunpoint I think I would go with Blondine; there’s something addictive about it when you wear it~

This is really really pretty to me. I am very finicky and particular about white florals- for example Burberry London is hard for me. So is joop Pour Femmes. I don't really like gardenia as in Gardénia by Chanel, nor can I appreciate Rouge nor Vert Malachite. I do love this lily note though and the subtle sense of butter is really great and I can't believe how it melds in seemlessly. I have a discovery set from the brand and have tried this and Teisandu (which is a major no for me, an intense dislike.). I will await the drydown of this one and update what I see happening to it..

If you could make a whipped cream out of lilies, it would smell like that. This perfume does really remind me of something I smelled before, but I can't remember what, and it will haunt me forever. None of the listed similar perfumes rings a bell, that's for sure. it it all about white florals drenched in softest musks. The texture is thick and creamy; I don't pick up any gourmand notes, however, except maybe butter. Ah, I remembered! it is Voulez vous coucher avec Moi by Killian. Blondine is not a dupe of any kind, but I'd say they are cousins

Blondine opens with soft citrus notes, quickly giving way to a bouquet of exotic flowers and in this beautiful lilies predominate, with oriental facets rich in cocoa powder. To my nose it smells powdery and elegant. Animalic notes, such as musk and castoreum, add texture to its dry down with the warmth and sensuality of tonka bean wrapped in soft accords of suede leather. . The substantivity in my skin reaches 12 hours. Diffusion and wake is moderate. BLONDINE is sensual, soft, delicate, but no less intense.

- Blondine is fantastic! Prominent fresh lily opening followed by a salted buttery caramel on the drydown to support the lily that becomes more vintage and sensual. I had no doubt that I would love this. It's a gourmand, buttery caramel lily with a dash of spice. I'm getting the tiniest bit of unlisted nutmeg in this. No chocolate so far, but that may develop over time as I get accustomed to the scent or it matures with time. The fragrance is dirty in a sexy way.

Love this one. The first 20 minutes or so, it’s a bit harsh and every time with that opening, I think I made a mistake deciding to wear it but then it settles down into a beautiful, soft, lily. I love lily but it can sometimes feel like it’s taking over. This lily is much softer with maybe a hint of musk. I can pick out the butter but don’t get the caramel, suede, or mandarin.

Classic and timeless. It's DNA reminds me of the ultra-feminine, polished, expensive-smelling perfumes of the 90's - Givenchy "Amarige", "Organza", "Dolce Vita", "Classique". Rich, mature, heady, buttery florals. Bouncy blowout, bold lip and shoulder-padded skirt suit. Being a relatively modern fragrance, it is still somehow a pure nostalgia scent for me.

Blondine is one of my favorite perfumes. I know that when I put on this fragrance on I smell like nothing and nobody else. Suede, lily and butter are the three notes that take the front stage, the rest is just supportive team yet together they create such a beauty. Blondine, a fragrance that is so different from my usual scent profile, has surprised and delighted me so much that it has become my newest go-to scent. It's a buttery white floral that is balanced with a powdery musk and sweet caramel/tonka notes. It doesn't hit you in the face with white florals; it's gorgeous, well-rounded, and easy to wear.

I have 100+ bottles of perfumes but this is probably my favorite. A rich, buttery white floral fragrance with a bit of sweetness. Perfect signature scent or even bridal - super elegant and sophisticated. Beautiful sillage and gets me quite a few compliments (not that those matter but a nice addition). I'm obsessed with this fragrance.

Blondine is one of the most exquisite perfumes I’ve tested in some time. Sultry, smooth and feminine, a treat to the senses. It smells expensive. So perfectly blended and high quality, I ordered my full bottle today. This brand is totally underrated and deserves a lot more attention than it gets.

This feels like stepping into a dreamy, enchanted forest. It's effervescent, crisp, and green, like light filtering through the trees on a cool, dewy morning. The caramel and cocoa vibe perfectly with the spicy tiger lily and fresh green notes—it’s like a fairy tale in a bottle.

Exceedingly womanly. Reminds me of the gorgeous vintage beauties of the 80’s. A little goes a long way. I over-sprayed the first time and felt queasy but the second time....one spritz and I felt like a gorgeous business woman. Blended perfectly. Full bottle worthy.

Makes me think of a classic romance trope: the widower who misses his wife before eventually falling in love again. Blondine is the late wife's perfume that he still huffs when he's sad - wholesome and pretty with great staying power on fabric.

Blondine is a perfume launched in 2017, created in collaboration with the perfumer Yann Vasnier, who has also used his talent in fragrances of brands such as Arquiste, Comme des Garçons, Jo Malone, Marc Jacobs, among others. The starting point for the creation of the fragrance was a 1920 French fairy tale by Virginia Frances Sterrett, whose main character is called Blondine, a fair and kind princess, who grew up loved by her father, surrounded by precious jewels, exotic fruits, and mouth-watering treats. However, when left behind in an enchanted forest, she is captivated by the most beautiful and seductive flowers, decadent delicacies and enigmatic musks, and it is when she realizes that she is far from home. Officially, Blondine's fragrance lists notes of green mandarin and pear leaves; Salted caramel butter, Tiger lily, and Ashok flower; Cocoa, tonka bean, castoreum, and musks. On the skin, Blondine looks like an innocent fragrance at first but reveals a stronger personality over time. The flowers stand out and the lily dominates with its solar scent of waxy and silky aspect which, on many occasions, resembles the smell of jasmine. Despite the fruity notes, the presence of mandarin is almost imperceptible and only explodes at the moment the fragrance is sprayed on the skin. Over time, the fragrance changes, as if it were a fragile princess who must defend herself against the threats of the forest, as the night comes. Then, the floral delicacy gives way for salty caramel crystals, which anticipate the arrival of a more gourmand facet. Finally, a soft suede scent appears and shows a less feminine side of the fragrance, which will remain until the end. In my opinion, Blondine portrays a playful story from the 1920's, but in a fairly up-to-date way, in which the perfume industry has been reinforcing aspects of genderless fragrances, just as fairy tales are increasingly portraying empowered and independent princesses.

Cocoa, dark chocolate, and butter caramel. It would be hasty to simply conclude “Ah, a gourmand fragrance”. This composition seems to thoughtfully prevent the sweet confectionery notes from becoming overwhelming, with slightly sharp green notes and tiger lily scent somewhat reminiscent of jasmine. I noticed slight differences between testing on a mouillette and on skin. Specifically, when body temperature rises, the sweet notes become more prominent, seemingly overshadowing the blonde musk in the background. The musk is detectable on the mouillette, suggesting perhaps this is a fragrance composed to interact with body temperature. Whilst Blondine may be perceived differently by different individuals, for me it was a fresh take on gourmand fragrances. If you’re fond of gourmands, I definitely recommend giving this a try.

There is something magical about this perfume. I can ́t really describe it, but I am obsessed. I am so happy that I got to swap some decants and this ended up in my possession. I agree with the previous reviews that this is not necessarily a straightforward gourmand, it ́s also a buttery floral. The notes are blended so, so well. I can sense the caramel and the tiger lily, but all the notes play together really nicely. It has an ever so slight vintage tint, but it is so vague that it does not overload the composition. I am not a fan of vintage perfumes, and that feel doesn ́t bother me at all in here. I ́ll wear it a bit more to decide. Unfortunately a bottle of this is prohibitively expensive to get where I am, not sure about anywhere else, but who knows, maybe one day.

Cream lily marvel..... no suede is listed on Frassai's site, and given the votes I wonder if the tonka and castoreum is giving some the impression of a soft suede.... this is so smooth and creamy without veering gourmand. Buttery in impression rather than smelling of dairy or desserts.... it's my favourite Frassai, and one of the best lilies I've ever smelled. My only (very minor) hesitation is that is smells very expensive in a particular way.... sort of noticeably so, explicitly fashionable etc. So, not a worthwhile complaint to some and that's fair. But iykyk...... Frassai achieves what I feel BDK aims for.... It lasts 5 hours on my skin.... Could be mistaken as purely safe at first wear so take your time, especially if you like lilies ☺️

I didn’t like it at first, it has white florals that I don’t appreciate in fragrances. However, after couple of days I started to like it and it was that fragrance that you constantly lift your wrist to smell and understand the notes and it becomes addictive. I like the dry down better than the opening. It’s butter, suede and Tonka bean in the dry down and it’s amazing. It smells like very luxurious makeup. Tyger lily in the opening has its vintage note but after 10-20 minutes the fragrance transformers into creamy suede with a hint of musk and Tonka bean. I don’t smell pear and mandarin at all but I think these notes gives a light freshness to the fragrance.

I have a love and hate relationship with this scent. I got a sample a few years back, and the tiger lilies bit me in my nose. I was so close to buying a full bottle, because while it was a bit bity it was verrry interesting and the sugary, buttery bed was so very lovely. And just when I decided to upgrade to a full bottle my local distributor shop just stopped carrying it. And now, even after years have passed, I keep thinking of it from time to time. I heard it was reformulated though, so I'm hesitant to order a full bottle from Frassai for the price point it is at. So Blondine, you will stay my eternal missed opportunity. :(

A more buttery, suede-like Baiser Vole. It has the same cold, smooth lily, but it is surrounded by other notes in a way which makes it less depressing than in Baiser Vole. It is elegant in the same way, but whereas Baiser Vole is regal and so frail it seems like a blur, like a fantasy, this is more casual, everyday elegance, much more approachable and down-to-earth. +

powder slightly spicy vanillic with hint of green , i find it feminine. As a guy who prefers fem to unisex this is my fave in the line most of the frags go unisex to masculine to me longevity is moderate 8/10

Very average perfume on my skin. It is not unpleasant but it doesnt stand out to me, either. To me, it doesn't smell as i would think a perfume with these notes would.

This smells 90% of allure edp by Chanel only a tiny bit less citrusy. That is my moms signature scent and I know it v well

Will need to test this again ... but I sought out a 5 ml sample to test. Lasted maybe 2/3 hours on me as a skin scent. I hardly pull any florals...just straight up leather and musk. IT IS SMOOTH & BLENDED BEAUTIFULLY, but not at all what I was expecting from having read reviews. Not a safe blind buy. I envy those who are able to get that buttery floral composition... lucky you!

Initial Spray: Dirty Vanilla A Few Minutes In: The cacao and coffee start to come in Dry Down: Vanilla gets dirtier, almost filthy (yuck) Deep Dry Down: The dirtiness lets up and the mandarin starts freshening it up. This is the best phase. Not fbw at all.

All I get from this one is citrus, benzoin and or labdanum/tonka and florals. Nondistinct florals and not lily. Nothing special.

Blondine is a perfume I have heard a lot about online over the past couple of years. Described as a gourmand lily, rich and elegant yet unusual, my interest was piqued. I finally received a Frassaï discovery set for Christmas, and eagerly sprayed Blondine first. What a disappointment! In a nutshell, I find it underwhelming and rather dull. Blondine is a lily scent for sure, but it is muted, even watery. There is sweetness here, but it is very subtle - to call it a gourmand is a stretch. It has a musky base, but I don't get suede. It is not rich or buttery at all to my nose. Blondine opens with a green lily note, pleasant and airy. It becomes a little sweeter as it develops, but the gourmand caramel accord I expected isn't there. Instead, it is muted vanilla. It becomes musky as it fades, a salty, grey synthetic musk that doesn't work well with my skin chemistry. It fades to a dull musky floral skin scent in under two hours. Sillage and longevity are moderate and it is feminine-leaning. A disappointing, underwhelming scent that I suspect has been reformulated, given the disparity between the many glowing reviews I have read and my personal experience with this scent. Try Cartier Baiser Vole instead. 2/5.

I can not smell the official top notes at all (green mandarin, pear leaves, salted butter caramel) and I get straight white flowers and the castoreum supporting them, a bit of a classic 80s fragrance vibe. It rapidly evolves into something kinda rancid (buttery i guess) and powdery. To be completely honest it does have an "old" vibe to it, like I would expect this smell from a dusty bottle of syrupy, orange-tinted fragrance sitting in someone's grandma's bathroom: I believe this feeling comes from the lily, which is made here to smell more like a skanky jasmine than lily (maybe because it's tiger lily?) For the price tag (180 euros for 50ml in Italy) to me this is pretty average, on their website someone commented this as smelling like "an expensive body lotion" and I have to say i completely agree The performance is solid (>6h) but after 3h it has no sillage whatsoever.

i loved this house, bought 5 samples more than 3 years ago, and finally got myself 50ml bottle of Blondine, the colour of the juice is changed the smell is also much thinner and simpler, so much jasmin sambac. I get it, perfumes are like wines.... I measured the size of the inside liquid and it turned out 40 ML!!...this is SO LOW. On their 180 EUR price tag this is a 40 EUR rip-off! This makes me sad, fragrance houses launch good small quality then they just cheapen up and scale on good vibes! i bought my bottle form frassai.eu web page and I can not post my review so I would just warn you that this company is duping the customers in every way. Blondine is the worst of them all now, nothing from what it was just 4 years ago. stay away, overpriced!

I get major lily, musk and suede. This is a floral fragrance through and through. Not picking up the butter, caramel, or tonka until drydown but by that time it's nearly gone! The performance is poor on me. It evens performs badly on clothing. I'm surprised no one else here is having longevity issues. I heard many say this is a warm, cozy fragrance but I don't have that experience. To each their own, but I see this more as spring scent. Sample first! Edit: This was a failed blind buy. I do find this to be quite classy and maybe a bit mature. It's nice, just not for me.

I honestly don't get this one. All I smell is jasmine (not listed here but it is on the Frassaï website) and screechy musk. I don't find it very pleasant. Maybe it's been reformulated?

On first dab, I thought "Chanel." I'm not sure why I had this thought except that this fragrance has a Chanel like plush, powdery richness to it. Right away I get the sense that I'm in good hands, that this is something of good quality ingredients meticulously put together. Most of the notes I didn't get at all. I suspect that they are in the first few minutes of the fragrance and were gone before my nose could acclimate. What I got was mostly lily and white musk on a sweet, plush, powdery background, superbly put together. Donna Karan Gold comes to mind but this is a sweeter kinder approach to lily. Nothing groundbreaking here but a very modern, well done sweet lily fragrance.

Invigorating soapy waxy immediate opening settles into light powdery floral citrus green top notes, with citrus strengthening over time. This nicely subdued top transitions to a substantially more forceful sweet powdery floral heart. As the lily heart accord builds, nice fuzzy musks enter the stage. As the floral accord fades over a couple hours, sweet remains to balance the sharper castoreum base note, which gradually comes forward to anchor the ultimate musky animalic extended drydown as the sweet fades. To my personal taste, this is a little too sweet throughout, but overall an extremely well-composed and interesting fragrance.

Blondine gives me a feeling, as if I was a medieval warrior princess. It is pretty feminine, but also edgy, somewhat brave and even fierce at some point. Like a princess with a sword. Blondine might sound as an edible gourmand, but it's not. And it's not an innocent flowery fragrance, even if the most prominent note is lily. Blondine is creamy, slightly salty, flowery. Lily note is big in this fragrance. I see a strong woman wearing it. A woman, ready to conquer the world! If you like lilies in fragrances, give it a try. The staying power is very good.

Elegant soapy white flowers. Vintage taste, wears mature. Pure Lilly. Disappointed, notes are making my mouth water and my nose curious. No cacao tonka castoreum butter suede or caramel detected the slightest. aaargh This is like a sudoku you can't finish on a ride home on a fast train with faulty wifi. I wish i didn't read the notes, i would say it's a great vintage white flower mature scent ( which it is ) but i've red the notes now...it was ment to be Sex and the City vibe, and i'm left with a boring tv show i've seen over and over again.

I felt like I had tested an entirely different perfume than the other reviewers until I read someone mentioning the tiger lily smelled like jasmine. Before looking at the notes I was convinced this was a yasmine centric scent (which turns out to be tyger lilly). I like it a lot. Not as gourmand as the notes might make you believe, but not a straight up floral either. I was a bit worried for the butter (no need, don't smell any) and the castoreum (no need, don't smell any). A definite winner for me.
