I’m a die hard tuberose lover and Victoria is like no other tuberose in my collection. The fragrance showcases the bubblegum facet of this white floral beauty along with a litchi accord that’s sour and tart in the best way. Along with the litsea and petigrain... initial spray really does evoke the essence of tropics but think JUNGLE, it is sweet but not like your typical sugary fruit genre. More sweet, sour, effervescent. Tangy, tart jungle fruit. Here, you get a slightly green, bright, zingy jungle fruit bubblegum white floral, delicious... but it isn't for everybody. As Victoria begins to reach her heart to dry down stage, I feel there’s a resinous pathway (possibly the styrax) that helps to open up the base notes, with a very gentle wisp of rose (I don’t get much rose, though). The oud is barely detectable as oud, nothing barnyard, funky or skanky in here but I think using this particularly type of wood was meticulously chosen and blended to create and maintain the exotic feel to the fragrance, rather than being showcased as a stand out note. It supports the other elements of the composition really nicely. The patchouli is a little damp and humid and the castoreum adds depth and a subtle, sweet animalic nuance, working with the oud to underpin the tuberose—bringing out the more sultry, seductive facet to the flower with a smooth, abstract woodsy undertone. Slight greenness, feeling slightly sterile/medicinal from the olibanum I think?... lending a balsamic touch which intertwines with the patchouli beautifully. I really love this perfume. It is unusual, unique. An original take on tuberose, a very well done perfume. I’ll say it again, not for everybody—a lot of mixed reviews. One that works wonderfully in the Summer and different from the stereotypical citrus, aquatic, beachy, lactonic, coconut piña colada compositions that tend to dominate the masses during this season. Although I do love a good tropical flower, suntan lotion, frangipani, tiare, solar fragrance AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR might I add, even in the cooler months as these types of perfumes transport me to warmer parts of the world and evoke beautiful memories of summers spent in Greece lounging by the pool with minimal responsibilities and generally a carefree attitude, Victoria is a stunning alternative to a summer fragrance. Definitely not a safe blind buy, I don’t think anything from this niche house is safe to blind buy but that is the beauty of niche and artisanal perfumery. They’re not mass appealing, they’re not created to be popular. They’re born from a true passion for this art form and appreciated by those who truly love perfume and the journey they embark when wearing a beautifully thought out and masterfully created fragrance with a story to tell. Even if it isn’t something that works for you, the piece is well appreciated along with the work that’s gone into creating it. It’s sunshine piercing through the jungle palms. Feminine strength. Frassaï is becoming one of my favourite niche perfume houses. Hands down.

Words can not truly describe my deep affection towards Frassi's Victoria. When I first sampled.... I was soo entranced by the very sweet litchi and bold tuberose! I'm saving up to purchase a full bottle for this fall...it's soo unique and can confidently say that you won't smell like anyone else (if that's important to you.) A word of caution though....this is not a safe buy by any means...in fact it is quite polarizing. But if you're into fruity, bold and anilmalic scents, definitely check this one out!

I would say that Victoria is one of the best perfumes in the Frassaï collection; and that’s saying a lot since they are all fantastic in their own right. Here, Victoria is wonderfully feminine without being overtly so and the tuberose is perfectly controlled and contained. There’s also tropical feel to the perfume that manages to live on the edge of the tropics which makes it more approachable. To me, Victoria is absolutely divine. 9.5/10

I had a visceral reaction to this beauty. It reminded me of a fragrance that I wore decades ago (can’t remember the name)... but wow, memories came flooding back. As tears hit my face I remembered so many wonderful times in my late teens early twenties. I LOVE how fragrances transport you. Full bottle worthy. Simply gorgeous.

Victoria was a love at first sniff. The litchi and litsea shine bright in the opening, then comes the voluminous creamy Tuberose, tropical, bright, and heady. The styrax and Oud are hardly detectable are more supporting notes. Like a sunshine on your skin, I'm in heaven. I guess I am grateful this works so well for me.

I get a tropical fruity vibe. It is BOLD. Tuberose is more background for me. Litchi is very strong Go easy on the trigger - especially if you will in close quarters with people. It could bother others. This will be either a love or hate so sample first. Not a safe blind buy. It is different from anything else I have.

another tuberose lover here - and this beauty just went straight to my top 3 tuberose scents upon first sniff (and confirmed its place after a few days wear). lush, dense, decadent, loud, overtly feminine, sweet but complex, floral but also balsamic with a slightest hint of animalic, but really a hint beautiful!

Wow. This is a sexy, dark, and unique fruity beauty! I picture humid jungles with ripe lychee & fragrant tuberose mingling together in a sensual cloud. I fall in love with this deeply tropical perfume a bit more everytime I wear it. Full bottle worthy and good in every weather except maybe super humid days.

I was going to blind buy this and I thought it was best to get a sample. It arrived and immediately I knew, it was LOVE at first sniff. Warm, sexy and mysterious. I'm 56 F and it represents me perfectly. I am going to order the 50ml and maybe even a back up bottle. It's without a doubt drop dead gorgeous.

Amazing blend of fruits and spices. Smells very delicious but in a beautiful refined way. The base is dark (yet quite soft) with a mysterious animalic nuances. They are not skunky in any way, just really sensual and warm. Simply gorgeous! My ig: scent.guide

The best parfum in Frassai collection. 9/10

Sugary tropical fruit, creamy and heady tuberose, and skanky animalic leather. It works and Victoria is not as odd as that combination sounds. In fact, once the weirdo top dries down the perfume is actually pretty safe, easy, and typical. A burst of lychee and petitgrain open the perfume by bringing a watery tropical fruit note and a bit of floral citrus piquancy. The tuberose rushes in from the heart, not wanting to wait its turn, giving a creamy, sugary, headiness to the fruit that in summation some say smells of bubblegum. Not being a bubblegum person at any point in my life, I can’t say I’ve experienced a bubblegum like this, but sure, I’ll believe it; it does have a sort of soft candy feel to it. These notes aside from the tuberose dispense very quickly to usher in leather and amber. The tuberose loses quite a bit of its attitude with the heady diffusiveness departing, leaving behind a creamy and white floral rose. Rose leather ambers are hardly anything new, they are a standard for good reason, and I suppose Frassai felt the need to have one to keep their marketing and accounting departments happy. The leather is quite animalic, but also refined and plush. It takes the rose by the hand and they nestle on a safe and warm bed of patchouli and balsamic amber. The brand notes oud in the composition but I can’t find it. If there is oud in this, it’s the oud we got in Western perfumery during the early 2000s that is far more refined, handsomely woody, and far less challenging than the ouds we know today. No medicinal, barnyard, fecal or fungal-rot notes to be found here. Unremarkable, but still very nice. It’s elegant, handsome, and tasteful. I don’t know who Victoria is, but I don’t “see a person” in this perfume. Whoever she is, she is very pretty but maybe not so much of a memorable personality except for the one random comment that makes you scratch your head (the opening). Her company is easy and enjoyable, nonetheless.

WOW that isn’t what I expected but at the same time it makes perfect sense. This is just first impression so far: I get amber tuberose but it’s as if Rouge Malachite didn’t have sage and instead had banana/lychee fruitiness. Very interesting! Very strong.

Victoria is the oddest Frassaï on me. I don’t notice a lot of tuberose, perhaps because the initial note of lychee is enormous. And actually I didn’t realize it was lychee as it smells just like peach gummy rings. Must be the combo with litsea. The heart and base notes never show up as indicated in the pyramid. I don’t notice any castoreum, oud, patch, frankincense. The tuberose smells tropical and warm. It has a thick buttery quality. This is not an oud fragrance, so don’t be afraid if you think you don’t like oud. This does not smell Middle Eastern whatsoever. Victoria is an interesting, quality fragrance, it’s just not my favorite from Frassaï.

Wow mind blowing for me for all the wrong reasons. Was excited to try but after several samplings I get the same reaction - gagging - one of very few fragrances to give that reaction. I can’t get past the smell of pungent citronella entwined with the smell/taste of a freshly smoked kawhai (fish) which wasn’t bled properly (ifykyk). This isn’t a chemistry thing but more a smell memory and how “I” smell it. Noting it doesn’t smell “fishy”. Darn weird. Hot cold citronella with a bitter/metallic note and almost a purple flower tinge at the end. Sad. Oh well. Very envious of all others who smell something delicious.

this is actually the most foul perfume I have ever had the displeasure of smelling. like icy hot and patchouli. I would DIE if I had to be near someone wearing this. and I only tried half of a spray from a little 2 ml. immediately scrubbed off. DISCOSTANG

I got a 2ml sample of this perfume back in 2022 when it first came out, however my nose was not developed yet. I was more into the Miss Dior line back then, BUT this fragrance made such a huge impression. For weeks I could not get this smell out of my head, I could always recall the exact smell whenever I thought about it. Here we are in 2024 and I finally bought a full size bottle. This scent smells just a mysterious to me as it did then and I am SPELLBOUND. It's a tuberose forward fragrance but it's a realistic and slightly dirty tuberose balanced out with this extremely realistic lychee, and a deep base of an herbal patchouli and a very woody oud. It's a tropical, fruity white floral for sure but there a "je ne sais quoi" to it that I can't place my finger on. It's got a vintage vibe but is very modern at the same time. Decent longevity at 6-8 hours on skin, around 12 on my clothing. The scent bubble is about arms length, but that sillage is truly captivating as I've been told. It leaves a trail way behind you. It lingers in elevators and rooms long after you've left. The only fragrance in my entire collection of 70 fragrances that actually made such a HUGE impression.

Sunscreen florals and petrol fumes. This is a strong fragrance and not everyone will enjoy it. Starts out with fruit flavoured hard candy scent and that synthetic oud wood smell that is in fragrance now. This is quickly surrounded by tropical florals that are so buttery that it's amost coconut like. The fragrance wafts beautifully during the day but lasting power on skin is 6-8h on me. I have worn this during the coldest winter, I would be cautious in warmer weather because this could easily set off a headache. I agree that there is something familiar in this - 80's/90's fragrance - Lou Lou but fruitier? Not my style at all but I love it!

if nothing else, I have to respect this one for taking up so much goddamn space. It's a shrill, high-pitched acid of a floral, complex, challenging and, sadly, not for me. Sometimes tuberose smells like French's yellow mustard. I'm not 100% sure, but I think this happens when it intersects with wood, so maybe it's the oud that's doing it. Could be the resins. Either way, it's pretty much a deal breaker. Of the frassai catalogue that I've sampled, Victoria is certainly the boldest, and I wish I liked it, but it's just too acidic.

So fruity, bubble-gummy, sweet, but pretty. I'm appreciating this one a lot - though it strongly reminds me of passing by this tuberose bush outside of a home I was staying at in Florida... I became obsessed with the scent and that personal association is causing some bias here. There is a tropical undertone to this that I think is really refreshing. It's still extremely perfume-y, but interesting at least!

This one is really unique. I don't really see it as a white floral because its like if a traditional rose oud was lightened up by a lot. There's a sharp greenness and amber that I don't think are working. There is a cough syrup vibe to it. I'm not really a fan, but its not awful. I wish it was blended better. I think the harshness is making me dislike it.

A nicely executed tuberose with a well-blended, calmly elegant heart and a crude, angular woody base. 6/10 This has been another edition of "LittleDinkums Reductive Reviews."

Instantly makes me nauseated. I was hoping for more of the lychee and fruit to come through but this is another tuberose and floral headache inducer.
