Amber Empire

Reading some of the comments actually made me delay buying Amber Empire. I received it today (21/01/26), and honestly... it’s beautiful. Straight out of the bottle, no waiting, and my only regret is not buying it sooner. I’m a big fan of this DNA, and I already own Art of Arabia 3 (not a fan, if I’m being honest) and Faris Al Arab (which I absolutely love). I rank both Faris Al Arab and Amber Empire very highly. In fact, looking at my collection, they both sit comfortably in my top 10. There! I said it, because it’s true 🤷🏻♂️ Amber Empire is a slightly sweeter and a touch more mass-appealing take on the DNA. But honestly, both are so, so good. I’ll hold off on a full review until I’ve compared both against CC Blonde Amber, which I’m currently waiting on as a 2ml “try before you buy” sample from BeautyTheShop (not a promotion — just mentioning it’s a trusted source). I’ll update this once that comparison is done, but I’ll say this now: at £480 for 50ml, and considering the quality of both Amber Empire and Faris Al Arab, CC Blonde Amber will have to be absolutely mind-blowing to beat them. EDIT: 23/02/26 - Update, as promised Blonde Amber vs Amber Empire vs Faris Al Arab – Performance Comparison Blonde Amber Opens with a smooth rum note before developing into a beautifully blended mix of dates, soft tobacco, saffron, and a deep, creamy amber dry-down. Vanilla and tonka keep it rich without becoming heavy or sickly. There’s an airiness here that stops it from feeling cloying or overbearing, while still remaining opulent. Very refined and gentlemanly — best suited to 30+. But whilst I appreciate that airiness, I actually prefer the denser, almost thicker creaminess of the clones. That’s 100% the truth. Performance: Above average. Around 6–7 hours on skin, a little longer on clothing. Projection: Moderate for the first 1–2 hours, then settles closer to the skin. Sillage: Elegant and controlled — noticeable without being loud. Amber Empire A sweeter, more mass-appealing take on Blonde Amber. The rum is gone, replaced by a faint liquor nuance. With the added sweetness, it feels more versatile and approachable, appealing to a wider age range. Less serious and easier to wear day-to-day. Performance: Strong. Around 7–8 hours with good consistency. Projection: More assertive than Blonde Amber, especially in the first 2–3 hours. Sillage: Noticeable and crowd-pleasing — it leaves a clear scent trail, but lacks the airiness of Blonde Amber and can become slightly cloying in certain conditions or smaller spaces. Faris Al Arab Unlike the rum opening of Blonde Amber, Faris Al Arab opens with more of a cherry-liqueur note, which becomes more noticeable and smooth after a short period of oxidation — smooth, subtle, and slightly boozier with a cherry-liqueur twist. Sweeter than Blonde Amber but less sweet than Amber Empire, with a thicker, deeper, creamier DNA than both. It suits a 30+ wearer who enjoys richer, denser scents. Like Amber Empire, it lacks the airiness of Blonde Amber, making it the most likely of the three mentioned so far to feel heavy or overbearing if overapplied. But I like that denseness. Performance: The strongest of the three mentioned so far. Easily 8+ hours on skin and days on fabric — I could still smell it on my coat four days later without spraying directly onto it. Projection: Solid and steady for the first 2 hours, then very gradually softens. Sillage: The densest of the three — rich, enveloping, and long-lasting in the air. Alexandria – Legally Blonde The sleeping wolf that deserves the same hype as the aforementioned. Probably the closest to Blonde Amber, but with the rum note at the beginning less pronounced. It manages to retain more of that airiness, like Blonde Amber, but lacks some of the subtle spicy nuances and booziness. Performance: On par with Faris Al Arab. Easily 8+ hours on skin and days on fabric. Projection: Solid and steady for the first 2 hours, then very gradually softens. Sillage: Not quite as dense as Faris Al Arab, but there’s not much in it — and again, it’s long-lasting in the air. Final Thoughts Technically, Blonde Amber is the better fragrance. Its blending and ingredients are top quality. But at £480 for 50ml — and with Amber Empire, Faris Al Arab, and Legally Blonde existing at a fraction of the price — I simply can’t justify it. For clarity, I paid £18 for a genuine Clive Christian 2ml sample for comparison. All of these fragrances have their own character and strengths. I own them all and have bought backup bottles of all except Blonde Amber — purely because of the price. It will ultimately come down to personal preference, but my favourite is Faris Al Arab, followed by Legally Blonde and then Amber Empire. But I love them all! That said, Legally Blonde is definitely the better option if you want the closest dupe of Blonde Amber. It also works incredibly well for layering — especially with something that adds a touch of spice. I’ve been using a couple of sprays of Terra with Legally Blonde and it works very well to add a little spice. Another option is Liquid Brun. A couple of sprays of that alongside Legally Blonde and it just works. Now I’ve probably either confused you even more or gone into far too much detail and personal bias than necessary — and niche snobs will likely despise my reviews and label me clueless. That’s fine. I’m confident in what I like and in my own tastes, so 🤷🏻♂️ As always, sample first if you can. But if you love rich, opulent, creamy, ambery goodness, I find it hard to fathom anyone genuinely disliking any of these fragrances.

Ok, Between this one and Maison asrar Faris al Arab, I have both, honestly guys.. they are so similar just get the one that is cheaper or the bottle you prefer.. they're like 95% the same. I kept forgetting which paper I sprayed each one on and which wrist I sprayed it on because it's hard to tell them apart.. IF you've already smelled Blonde Amber and you want a decent dupe. Both of these reach 90% of blonde amber. If you've never smelled it you're taking a risk it's not a scent for everyone given how sweet and powdery (NOT baby powder don't worry) they can be. But to me the sweetness is rich and decadent and well rounded and fully unisex (even if it seems like a men's fragrance women can definitely wear it too but you might find it masculine if you're used to designer women's frags) The small difference is the OG seems to have more of that realistic dried fruit note (the other 2 don't have it listed so it makes sense though they do have some fruitiness too) which sticks around longer on paper and makes it a little brighter and a bit licorice-y. On skin though they all dry down similar. Blonde Amber being the better performer but not by a huge amount. Definitely not to justify the cost imo. If money is no object of course the OG is superior. Performance is good on both of the dupes, honestly i have no idea what people are saying performance is bad, but you may need an extra spray off these vs the OG, not a big deal to me.. esp for the price... they'll stick around on skin a good long time, overnight even. Here's the thing about performance.. these are smooth fragrances. They aren't beastmode compared to some others, because they have no strong super-ambers. (You know the spiky aromachemicals that seem to invade your nasal passages as an excuse to give fragrances longevity at the cost of smelling bad) To me that is higher quality than something that is sharp and enters a room before you do.. Projection is moderate. I wore it for the day and got whiffs of it on myself for hours, and when that happens you know that other people could smell it as well. I would guess that after about 6 hours it'll be closer to skin but still there. Edit: I should say that both my dupes are less than a week old, so performance I suspect Will get even stronger. "Oxidation" is definitely a thing I've got well over 100 bottles of ME perfumes and most of them change somewhat over the course of a few days to months. Usually just smoothing out and getting more potent.

Not comparing this to the original: EDIT: This is one of those common cases where it's advised not to smell a Middle Eastern dupe up close, especially not right away. It can feel a little sharp up close and as someone mentioned, there is a noticeable grape vibe going on at the top. However, as is also the case with these kinds of frags, it really does smell good in the air, even after directly spraying it. Try spraying your shirt, near your bellybutton, and it will waft up nicely. When smelled up close, it has a dusty sharp grape thing going on, and in the air it smells like beautiful liquor and dried fruits, with a woody aspect. Weird how that works, but this is a common occurrence with Middle Eastern frags. Someone below mentioned that he gets "grape" and "old man" vibes from many fragrances in the amber family. It's not an unfounded statement. There is an ingredient called methyl anthranilate used in many of these perfumes to varying degrees that causes this. It makes up a base called Schiff's Base (they're trying to create a slight narcotic floral edge). Osmanthus can have this berry/grape characteristic too if used in the right amount, found in Herod. I'm not saying this is a grape soda or anything, but it definitely has that grape vibe, and the woodiness can come across as a little dry and bitter once it starts drying down. I had my GF smell this one side-by-side with Eternal Oud ( I know they don't smell alike even if they're both in the amber family). She preferred Amber Empire and said it smelled sweet, like jelly. It does have a slight candied opening. I'm also picking up a tobacco accord. I prefer this over many of the dupe vanilla and amber fragrances, even if it's not really my vibe. And oddly, even though it's not really my vibe, I find myself sniffing that spot on my arm, ha! I bet a lot of people will love this one. The longer Amber Empire dries, the better it gets and smooths out to a kind of fruity plum/tobacco fragrance. This is an edit, and I can say after one wearing, I actually enjoy this, I think it's because this is one of the few amber/vanilla frags that doesn't smell feminine on me. It does become quite a soft skin scent shortly after application, but I can tell it will leave a little trail and have good longevity. I haven't tried other clones of Blonde Amber, so cannot compare it with that.

Below are copy of my comments i previously made for Faris Al Arab comparing it to Amber Empire, if anyone is interested in knowing the differences; Update 1 (29.10.25): I'm wearing it today and will wait and see the longevity. It's been 2 hours since i 4 times sprayed Faris Al Arab and projection was good until now. I can still smell it but the projection is getting weaker naturally which makes it office-safe. The very first detail that got my attention is, this fragrance is slightly less sweeter than Amber Empire in the opening. Like calmer and smoother. Next update will be about longevity and last update will be comparison of the two, most probably on weekend. So far, i love this fragrance, 9.5/10. Update 2 (03.11.2025): I tested both fragrances (Amber Empire&Faris Al Arab) two days ago, two sprays on each arm. Here are my thoughts after wearing them side by side: Opening: Amber Empire comes off sweeter and louder right from the start, though both share a very similar scent profile. Dry Down: To my nose, they’re about 99% identical and it’s genuinely hard to tell them apart. Still, Amber Empire remains just slightly louder. Longevity: Amber Empire outlasted Faris Al Arab by about 30–45 minutes. Faris Al Arab gave me around 8–9 hours of wear on skin. Projection: Both project strongly for the first couple of hours. Sillage: Amber Empire leaves a slightly more noticeable scent trail until projection dies down. Bottles: Both bottles look fantastic, true oriental niche aesthetics. Gender: Because of its sweeter opening, Amber Empire leans more unisex to me, while Faris Al Arab feels a bit more masculine and refined. Value: Excellent value for money, especially considering you’re getting 100ml of this quality. Verdict: From an honest, unbiased standpoint, it’s really tough to pick a clear winner. If you’re a younger guy, you might prefer Amber Empire for its louder, more playful projection. If you’re 30–35 or older, Faris Al Arab might be the better fit, smoother, calmer, and a bit more elegant.

Definitely has a very strong resemblance to CC BA. I just got my bottle of Amber Empire yesterday. It probably needs time to mature/oxidize /macerate and hopefully smooth out. The opening is much less dense (simple), off balance, and overly sweet compared to the real deal. I'm not a huge fan of the opening on this one. It seems like it's mostly linear in comparison to BA. Some of that overly sweet and strong opening definitely fades after 30-40 minutes and it smooths out into a pleasant scent much closer to BA that I really enjoy for the next 3-4 hours and spends the last 2 hours as a lovely skin scent I saw a video where Neebs had a preproduction version in eau de parfum concentration that he preferred to Faris Al Arab, yet he talked FW into releasing this in a much stronger Extrait with amplified certain notes, which I think was a huge mistake, as the final version he did not like as much as Faris and I can't help but wonder what that unreleased version would have been like. I will reserve my final judgement until I can have some more time with it. Longevity and protection are decent for the price, and I'm hoping it really balances out over the next few weeks. As of right now, it's okay, but I am mildly disappointed. Update 12/10 It's been 7 days and I haven't noticed much of a change. I put my full bottle in the refrigerator, I have heard it speeds up the maturation process. I have been using a bit I decanted out. The opening is still way too sweet and very unbalanced. I really REALLY hope this one changes and starts to shine. It smells fine in the air, but up close it's overly sweet and abrasive. I wear frags for myself, not people around me. I will update again in the coming weeks.

Been following this on reddit and i am new here. My first experience with FA was essence de blanc decant, they did great mastering the drydown of LV. i used it to complete with layering. I had a sample of AOA3 and i was very affraid that this would be off like that. my summer experience with EDB was a reason for me to risk a blind buy for that price It has arrived from the UK to Germany today, very fast and tax free lol. The first 5 sprays and the first 15 minutes it was smelling like a bit alcohol/leathery. I had the same kind of experience with the first spray of other new bottles so I believe that after a few weeks the alhocohol/synthetic leather will smoothen and sort itself out. The leathery scent was only there during the transitioning to the base notes. It's pleasant and to me the only phase it felt masculine. The drydown has more volume than the OG and i was hoping to find that with this buy. At the start of the OG drydown i could get a whiff of a note that plays hide and seek. (could be one of the notes popping up mentioned by the guy below im not sure (Orris, Saffron or White Tobacco) I am missing that with Amber empire. It's not that important to me but i will try to layer it with Super iso e and other bottles when i have more time in the future. edit: i tried it with a layer of another 13, not a match with the flower note but the iso-e and ambrette ads more spicynes and lifts the woods to another level Keep up the great work FA. Thank you for not dissapointing

**UPDATE**: I could not wait to test this, and for the most part, I enjoy this fragrance. It’s sweet, spicy (in a smoked candied fruit sort of way) and wearable year round. If you overspray this, beware: it will get into your throat. Longevity on me is around 6 hours--and I kept getting whiffs of myself well into hour 10. I believe fragrance is unisex, but this does lean a bit towards traditionally masculine. Let's say this. On a man, it's a typical masculine, nice scent. But on a women--it's a darker, seductive, mysterious fragrance! ____________________________________________________________ I have never smelled the OG Clive Christian, but Amber Empire alone is gas. The initial spray introduces the oriental notes which brings this resin type vibe. The vanilla then comes through to smooth things out a bit and to my nose it makes it almost sweet. The amber yall....the amber. It is so beautiful. I know this is marketed more toward men, but ladies: wear this. You will turn heads, and have people wanting to know what you're wearing. Be advised to spray lightly or you might just choke out everyone within a block. Once I wear this and let it sit for a little I'll updated my thoughts.

First review on fragrantica! I love this fragrance! Am I biased because I absolutely love Blonde Amber? tough... On paper and on body this smells a bit different, but either way you get a sweet TAKE on blonde amber that's not too far off! The quickest and easiest way to describe this fragrance is that it is a boozy sweet slightly grape juice warm scent. Take blonde amber and mix it with Azzaro TMW parfum (the sweet grape juice vibe but amped up) and you get amber empire. The opening can be deceiving as its different from the overall rest of the scent, almost sour. Once it dries down, you get a delicious amber boozy scent, the sweetness smelling fantastic. It is not as dark nor as smooth as blonde amber, but this is amazing in its own way! Projection: 5-6 hours of strong performance! Longevity: skin scent after 6 hours, gone around the 9-10 hour mark, ON CLOTHES UNTIL THE NEXT DAY(VERY STRONG). Not cloying, perfect amount of sweetness and amber, woodiness carries the fragrance through the day and you will smell yourself for hours! Perfect for the fall and winter time, perfect for date night or daily for the colder days, an amazing overall scent!

I just received it, and as soon as I smelled it, I couldn't stop smiling. I'm already thinking about getting a second bottle because I'm gonna wear the sh*t out of this during the winter ! Slightly sweet, ambery, slightly boozy, slightly woody, slightly musky, absolutely beautiful !! This is very well-blended honestly, there isn't a note that is overpowering the rest. My experience with Middle Eastern fragrances so far is that 90% of them need time to mature, but not this one. It was love at first spray, and wearable right out of the box. I didn't know what to expect since I have no idea what Clive Christian's version smells like, but if it's better than Amber Empire, and it probably is, I totally get the hype now. Perfectly unisex. 100% blind buy safe if the notes listed are your cup of tea. Easy 5/5. French Avenue knocked it out of the park ! Don't mind Randy's confused schizo rant lmao... Update: I hope the performance will improve because so far, it's projecting for barely an hour, then it becomes a skin scent for 3-4 hours, and then you can barely smell it.

French avenue amber empire. A worthy name because when you wear it you feel like an emperor! This is my best blind buy ever. I have no knowledge of blonde amber but i can tell you this... THIS IS IT FOR ME. My girlfriend attacked me a soon as she smelled it on me and i can only say this is my favourite perfume of all time. I thought i struck gold with khamrah but this is so much better. Its rich and fills a room in seconds. I feel confident with this perfume. And i feel like a king. The opening is spicy and sweet and a little liqour! The drydown gets sweeter but also fresh at the same time and being loud and sexy! After all of this you end up with smelling like royalty and the best smelling guy in the room. And yes i am saying guy because this is so loud that there is only a handful of females who probably could pull this off.. So all in all, are you looking for a beastmode fragrance that will make you stand out in the crowd and smell sexy on a date night, then look no further. Worth every damn penny even though i preordered it and paid alot to get it

Nose Note #839 I found it very hard to wear Art of Arabia III. It had something about it that was headache-inducing for me, something too thick about it, and it wasn't even crazy strong like Xerjoff or some from Montale and Mancera. I liked French Avenue Lumiere Garcons much much better - it's very similar, like a flanker to Blonde Amber, but it was also a bit weaker than Art of Arabia III. Now to Amber Empire. It's like a mix of Art of Arabia III and Lumiere Garcons and I like it just as much as Lumiere Garcons. This smells more complex than the notes have it - it's more like what the breakdown of the OG is about - dried fruits, myrrh, rum, vanilla, but here you definately have amber. Overall I'm having quite a similar experience to Lumiere Garcons with this rumy dry raisins note. Performance is better than average, but I haven't yet made a definitive observation, doesn't feel crazy strong like Xerjoff or Amouage. I could only wish for that. 8.4/10, easy to like winter scent, but I've smelled similar stuff

It has been a while since a blind buy purchase made feel like this. The bottle is cheap and arrived damaged but idc, its about the fragrance and let me tell you; phenomenal. I have tried CC Blonde Amber, Maison Asrar Faris Al Arab, Lattafa AoA 3 so i guess not fully a blind buy, but this really gave me the same feel. I am not saying there arent difference, but its so close i really had to smell them side by side to be able to compare and contrast the differences. Ultimately they are all ambery, rich, warm and opulent. They do not smell cheap. They perform well. Deserving of the hype, all of the clones are really. You dont need all, one is not better than another, if they are its marginal and only figured out by testing both side by side (which isnt worth it), get one for winter and enjoy it. I picked this up from TikTok for £25 (there was a sale on), cant complain. Really well blended and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

"I’ve smelled Blonde Amber, and I’ve also smelled Art of Arabia 3. After wearing this one multiple times, I can confidently say it’s the better clone of Blonde Amber. It’s very similar, but also stronger. The opening isn’t amazing, yet it’s still noticeably better than the opening of Art of Arabia 3. It’s a touch too spicy at first, though not excessively so. The main difference between this and the original is that the original feels slightly sweeter and features more prominent white floral notes. With this one, I don’t really detect any white florals, but since that aspect isn’t a major part of the composition, I’d still rate it around 88% similar overall. For the price, I think it’s definitely worth it, it’s smooth, smells expensive, and has impressive strength for an amber fragrance. Really good work overall."

Smells like you walked into a humidor to browse the selection of fine cigars with a rocks glass sipping on a nice bourbon neat, wearing a wool cardigan. Starts out with some sweet dates, spices like cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla. A nice rum or bourbon note and tobacco leaves. There are some resin notes too like Myrrh or Benzoin. The dry down smells like you are smelling the cardigan and getting the hints of vanilla and cigars. The sweetness is there but has dropped off a lot. Its smooth, fluffy, sexy, and classy. Perfect for a dates and cooler weather strolls outside. I cant wait to see how it matures for the upcoming fall and winter season.

Wow, what a beautiful scent profile! I dont even care if the projection isnt "nuclear" or "beast mode" like the influencers say it is, this is just straight up such a mature and addictive scent. The amber in there is done so dang well as well as the liquor and vanilla! It has created what i find to be the the perfect amount of sweetness, none of that Lataffa Khamrah crap. I have only smelt the top notes of Blonde amber, but the openings are really dang close. I dont even care if its not 95% close to the og, the fragrance itself is a mastetprice. THIS is a real winter scent. Kudos to French Avenue and shoutout to Clive Christian!

Because it doesn't project too far, its safe to wear in the office without offending anyone. And if they are close enough to be offended, give them a hug. Its a really nice scent, though I wish the boozy opening lasted into the mid. The sugar cane (Caipirinha like) amber musky woodsy scent remain for about 6 hours after the opening. I am reminded of cinnamon, though its really the way the cedar and other woods combine with the sugarcane+musk. I have no idea how close it is to its inspiration, its pretty good judged on its own merits. I will add it took about two months after I bought it before it performed well.

I havent smelled Blonde Amber so I can't compare. The opening is : alcoholy, ambery sweet. After 30mins its much better : sweet, woody, powdery, ambery scent with a hint of spice. Very nice scent for the cooler months. Longevity is about is about 4-5h max with medium projection. I tested the 3 most known Blonde Amber clones : Faris al Arab, Khadlaj Onyx Gold and French Avenue Amber Empire. All 3 are 95% to one another, Faris Al arab has a slight cherry drydown, Onyx Gold has a more fruity sweetness drydown and Amber Empire more ambery. I would say, buy the one that is avalaible at the cheapest price.

I bought this because Blonde Amber Clive Christian is at bare minimum $790 Canadian just for 100ml bottle French avenue Amber Empire is $65 and its very close to Blonde Amber This is my favorite fragrance out of my collection It's a very warm and likeable scent, I haven't had a Relationship or compliment from anyone in my 30 years on this "planet" until i got this fragrance, someone smelling this fragrance recognized it and honestly everything just feels really easy talking to this person, Definitely a special occasion fragrance but i don't think i have that luxury

@ILosun I'm glad you weren't let down. The negative reviews do have a point though, at least about the initial screechyness at the top. However, I think they're hyperfocused on one aspect (smelling it up close on initial spray). This fragrance takes on a completely different profile when smelled in the air. I always ask my girlfriend to wear new frags around me and walk nearby, and I then wear them on myself. Up close, on my skin, many of these ME dupes smell aggressive or sharp, but in the air, on my gf, fantastic. This is one of those frags, in my opinion.

Saw the hype on this from elitearomaz so preordered and received yesterday after my blindbuy success with vulcan feu and baie. Now where do I start, this is one of the most impressive clones ive smelt to date. Not because of the closeness (which id say is more 90% with elevated sweetness) but the scent profile smells rich, cozy and a must have for the cooler weather. Its super addictive and has gotten me 2 compliments today which is always a plus. I have tried the other alternatives which wernt very good but this goes straight into my top 5.

I’m thoroughly impressed with this one, especially since I’m quite skeptical of dupes. I’ve personally purchased both Maison Asrar Faris Al Arab and this one, and they differ significantly in terms of concentration, longevity, and projection. This fragrance is richer and more intense, while Faris Al Arab is lighter and more versatile. It’s important to note that this is an Extrait De Parfum, while Faris Al Arab is an Eau De Parfum. I opted for Faris Al Arab because I want to experience the same presence and impact when wearing Blonde Amber.

i love this fragrance i’ve never smelled blonde amber but after owning amber empire i might just have to start saving up it’s perfect for cold weather or nights out the projection is a little inconsistent but other than that it is wonderful i get a little hint of tobacco that makes this fragrance very unique it is also one of my most complimented the only issue i have with it is that i picked it up in summer and i am eagerly waiting for fall to wear it i am tempted to blast it on just for that extra projection from the summer heat

I picked this up back in January and immediately fell in love with the DNA, though the performance was a bit let down at first. I decided to let it sit in a dark drawer for two months (giving it the occasional shake), and the longevity and sillage have improved significantly since then. As an amber lover, I might be biased, but this is beautiful—refined, warm, and carries these gorgeous boozy undertones. It’s the perfect companion for a cold, rainy day and pairs incredibly well with a long coat or elegant attire.

A rich, cozy scent that I really enjoy, very good performance as well, maybe 8 to 9 hours on the skin and it lasted much more on my jacket that is hanged in my home entrance and it has been 2 days now and I still can smell the scent every time I come back home. Definitely in my top 10 fragrances. Never tried BA or any of the other dupes, so I can’t comment. My batch is 12/2025 so I will give a month or 2 to macerate and I will come back with an update if anything changes. Right out of the box 10/10 for me.

Just pulled it out of the box and sprayed it on my hand. Opening is calming and blended well. Its nice. Very nice. I like this a lot. I'm sure with some time it will be even better. All the people saying it sucks got fakes for sure. Or they just want to have the most projecting longest lasting fragrance in the world every time they buy one. and that's not reality. Shits nice and subtle. date nights, family get togethers, work. It works.

About the fragrance Its not 1 to 1 of the blonde amber but its a bit sweeter more wearable for younger ages like 25 20ish the real one is for older dudes It has that dna Its a good scent profile It projects decent for the price Overrall 7.5/10 value for 40 bucks is insane...

This one is VERY nice! Holds some sophistication to it that makes you smell rich (because Lord knows I aint). The dry down is the best part of it. I only sprayed it on to try out on my hand after blind buying it and I'm impressed so far--I'll have to wear it soon to get the full scope. I'd reserve this for a night out/special occasion--anywhere you'd get dressed up for love (weddings, dates, etc). Good job on this, FA!

I just want to come and give an update, after about a month and a half, this has gotten very good. The grape cough drop opening has smoothed out and been replaced by tobacco and frankincense. I was trying so hard to love this, and left it alone for several weeks, and it got much better. Don't lose hope if you are put off by the opening when you first get your bottle, just spray some out and let it sit for 6 weeks.

It doesn’t have anything particularly special about it, but it’s a scent you want to keep smelling once you do. It’s not deep, yet it feels rich. The longevity is good, and the projection is moderate. Honestly, it’s not a fragrance that will appeal to everyone, but overall it’s not a perfume that’s likely to be disliked either. For the price, it’s quite satisfying. I wouldn’t consider it suitable for a blind buy.

Straight forward review, if you wanna judge on the basis of a dupe, you'll have complaints, but if you wanna judge this as it is, it is a beautiful fragrance. Feels like blond amber but density reduced by 15-20%. But the plus point is that makes it more wearable than just special occasions. The blend of the amber and the vanilla just makes it a classy wearable specially for a date night. I loved this one.

Quite simply its outstanding, A warm amber with vanilla taking the stage, if anyone that likes amber/vanilla yet doesn't get on with this then their wrong, or have a fake 😜. I blind bought and paid £34 and its instantly becoming a wow . Been able to smell for a solid 11 hours and I dont think its stopping ha, I did overspray but that's what I do, and im not an influencer either, 10/10

W my untrained nose i can smell dryed fruits and tobacco (and the 3rd is probably called amber and a bit woody), and they are one of my favorite smells of all time irl. I hope the dry down is simular, im buying a bottle for sure. Its been a while (like 25 samples) that a frag amezed me this much. But maybe cause it hits my spot, idk get a sample. Definitely worth trying.

I changed my mind This fragrance is godsent and is the best affordable middle eastern fragrance of all time. Smells insanely high quality like a 200 dollar fragrance, projects loudly and is a compliment magnet, by far the most complimented fragrance in my collection. Art of arabia is good but not like this masterpiece this is by far closer to blonde amber 10/10

Been testing this for a week, the opening is this very strong liquor note. During the dry down you get this oriental note mixed with liquor and labandum with a woodsy backbone that is sweet. This lasts 9 hours on my skin and I can only imagine with maceration it'll get better, projection is 3 hours on my skin. Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity & Silage:10/10 Value:10/10

Bought this bad boy for £27 was a little disappointed at first but god did it amaze me, ambery boozy musky, all in one, my woman loves it (yet she loves sauvage so her opinion is futile) but its great, spray 5 sprays then wait 24hours spray again, smells fantastic (mine developed a bit better after 24 hours), cant wait to see how it develops fully. 7.5/10

First Impressions as only just received but Bye Eck what a belting Honeyed Amber fragrance. Smells 90% + similar to Clive Christian. Great atomiser and presentation. It's spring at the mo so only really a Date Night scent. Can't wait till Autumn and Winter to rock it during the day as well though. Paid less than £25 delivered so a real bargain..

This is great stuff. It's mature but sweet. Boozy, plum, leathery, sugar cane/bubblegum. It gets even better after maturing. The blending is supremely smooth, not what would be expected from a clone house. Out of a large collection, this one is nuclear, unique and very wearable. The closest fragrance in my collection is Royalty Onyx by Maluma.

Bought today, never smells blonde amber but this smells amazing and I would say it's blind buy worthy if you need a fragrance for cold weather only!/ special occasions, smells also quite feminine for me and like grandma lipstick which makes it very mysterious. 9/10 Dry down reminds me a lot of stronger with you intensley

French Avenue did it again with a stunning performer with a dry down that is so exquisite, you'd think you're wearing the original. The Amber and Honey in this profile are incredibly high end and sweet, but not overpowering the other fresher notes. It's hard to describe but majestic comes to mind. 9.25/10.

I have no experience with OG, but this gives that unique mass-appealing smell of grape juice with creamy and milky amber sandalwood. Right out of the box the longevity is nothing special (3-4 hours), but as with recent French Avenue releases, I expect things to change after the maceration process.

My absolute favorite fragrance i have ever smelt its such a cheap good colonge with so much bottled memory for me definitely my most complimented and most asked for colonge. My girlfriend loves this stuff saying she smells like Christmas from me. Everyone eles saying I smell like a rich warm hug

Not sure why it's more female voted, this is one of the best dupes in my collection. Very sensual, rich, bold statement of perfume. First spray of the bottle and the performance is around 5 hours. With maceration I would expect this to reach 7 to 8 hour mark. Blind buy worthy for sure.

This is just a stunning oriental woody gem in the same family as Grand Soir. It's sweet, warm, boozy, cozy and sexy. This is my favorite type of DNA hands down. I don't know why it's marketed for men as to me it's totally unisex. Will need a backup of this bad boy ASAP! Love.

I just got it and the opening threw me off bro but trust the process cause the dry down is immaculate man, idk how close it is to the original but man this shit is good when it dries down, will probably get better with time as well but so far i recommend

Absolutely love this fragrance. Very close to blonde amber. First few sprays were disappointing but after two weeks on the shelf I sprayed it again today and I’m in love. Long lasting and great value. Safe blind buy if you’ve tried the OG and loved it.

after owning this and blonde amber, they're surprisingly similar in they dry down. longevity isnt amazing. i get a good 6ish hours. i just reapply. never understood why people complaining instead of just reapplying.. gorgeous scent. amazing value.

In my opinion a very good date night cold weather fragrance. I've used it with my girlfriend and she loves it. Used it a few times for work ( In air-conditioned cold) and have received a lot of compliments. So most definitely a win in my eyes.

Amber Empire is an amazing scent. It smells high quality and has very good performance. I would not wear this cologne in the summer. It could be an amazing cool weather signature scent.
