Nose Note #726 It's a nice and rather easy bergamot-vanilla-amber scent. But the most dominant note to my nose is orange blossom which to me smells a lot like tuberose. And I don't like it when tuberose stands out so much. It is indeed similar to YSL Libre, so if you like the DNA - you'll most likely enjoy this one a lot. Very high quality just like the rest of the line. Very strong. Very feminine. 7.5/10, nice, but it's a common DNA upd. after 3 months: Me and my wife really started to enjoy it, especially me. Such a warm, pleasantly sweet lady scent. Wonderful. Leaning more mature. 8.5/10, so good

Cancer by French Avenue is one of my favorite fragrances and perfectly represents my zodiac sign, Cancer. Some might say it leans feminine, but I couldn’t care less – it’s simply wonderful. The performance is excellent, and I always receive compliments when wearing it. It’s easily one of the few fragrances I’d happily repurchase for my collection. Rating: 9/10

I'm in love with this perfume. I dont know how to put it in words but its a sophisticated scent, but sweet enought. I have headaches and this dont affected me. I feel the lavender but not like cleaning products. Its a quite warm, sweet, I dont feel the citrousy too much. Very nice scent, quite versatile, and I got this blind because of my horoscope

Запах похож на Ysl Libre. На старте чувствуется лаванда. В прочем она и не покидает аромат в течение дня.

Bought a sample blind. My impression is that it has a very strong vanilla scent with a touch of orange's sweetness. I sense the amber quite well but hard to smell the lavender or the orange blossom in the dry down. Maybe I should let it macerate for a while before wearing again. Conclusion: Very sweet and unisex, not blind buy-safe. If you really like the sweetness of vanilla topped up with sweetened orange juice, this is definitely for you.

Stunning bottle and presentation. For me it's solidly a gourmand scent. I struggled to detect the citrus top notes. I've had it on for about an hour and it's developed to a caramel heart. Only up close can I detect the florals. Although it does faintly remind me of YSL Libre. It was a blind buy for me as I know French Avenue perfumes are usually very good quality and have enormous longevity. If you are a fan of vanilla scents this should be a safe blind buy. It will go on my winter shelf.

Blind bought a sample just because it was my horoscope and the bottle is stunning. I am a certified gourmand hater, but I thought maybe the vanilla will be mixed in well with the citrus and the florals and the base would be amber heavy. No. Straight up sweet sweet vanilla with a cough of orange and amber. I personally hate it but if you're into basic gourmands with a slight twist, it's a safe blind buy.

Cancer by French Avenue Cancer is a 2025 release by French Avenue, a very comfortable aromatic citrus fragrance. The opening features bergamot, orange, and mandarin, a blend of citrus fruits that doesn't deliver excessive tartness. On the contrary, it's a fresh, slightly sweet, and lightly camphoraceous opening due to the lavender note that emerges quickly from the heart of the perfume. At the heart of the fragrance, we find lavender and orange blossom. The orange blossom in Cancer contributes a greener, herbal, slightly creamy, and citrusy facet, connecting well with the top notes. Lavender is the main protagonist of this perfume, presenting various characteristics: it's slightly camphoraceous and citrusy, as if accompanied by a hint of pepper, and possesses its characteristic clean nuance along with an aromatic facet. These nuances become noticeable within minutes of application, where the lavender connects perfectly with the opening and the orange blossom, which prevents the lavender from dominating, keeping everything very well-balanced. The base features vanilla and amber. The vanilla here is handled differently from other aromatic perfumes that have this note in their base. Here, the vanilla takes on gourmand tones, as if it were something edible, even approaching tonka bean. The amber accompanying the vanilla helps add warmth and a bit more weight to the fragrance, also serving to balance the vanilla so it doesn't become overly sweet and prominent, delivering a very light woody touch to the base of the perfume. This is an excellent perfume to be a signature scent during spring and autumn, but it also works very well for evening outings, dates, and events that don't require high formality or something more bombastic and attention-grabbing. Projection: Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the weather, give or take. Longevity: Approximately 8 to 10 hours, considering until the perfume completely leaves the skin, with some instances lasting over 12 hours.

I know that Zodiac concept have been done in fragrance for many times. But this package screams Saint Seiya Gold Cloths and I really really want it for that. Cancer is my sign, I will definitely get this if I have a chance.
