Coconut Leche

I feel like this is a really underrated coconut fragrance! To me, it smells like creamy cashmere and milky toasted coconut, with slight undertones of tuberose and soft vanilla. It isn't sweet and it's not going to be a stereotypical beachy coconut, that being said, it is a delicious and cozy coconut for those who don't want fake, overly sweet sunscreen coconut. It does smell a bit intense at first spray but not so bad that it would have to be put into perfume timeout to mature before using. But, I bet it will definitely get even better as time goes on. It doesn't have as much tuberose to it as I had hoped but I still love this fragrance and feel like the notes all work together cohesively. It is safe for work and won't offend if you keep it to under 4 sprays. It plays nice with almost any fragrance I layer it with too. It was a blind buy for me, I enjoyed Tropical Kiss from the same line and had a good feeling about coconut leche. I wish it was as inexpensive as other Arabian perfumes I've bought, but feel like this one is worth $50 because of how large the bottle is and how elegant and cozy it smells. I bought the EOS Coconut Waters lotion to layer with it too, I would highly recommend trying that if you love yummy roasted coconut and soft cashmere type scents

Okay so... Imagine a tray of fresh coconut shavings, on top of that you add a drizzle of sweet vanilla and, surprisingly to my nose, either macadamia nuts or cashews (which I haven't seen anyone mention, not even in the notes, It's weird) You take this tray, and put it in the oven. You remove it once everything is perfectly browned, and then you proceed to take those contents and whip them in a blender. It's a soft, well blended, sweet but not too sweet scent of roasted coconut with a nuttiness that makes it so rich. If this sounds too gourmand, do not fear, because they've added to this mix a few white floral notes, which take this from a gourmand edible fragrance to a mature, coconutty sweet fragrance. To me, it's incredible, and don't understand some of the hate it had gotten. It's coconut without being beachy, lotion-esque, or too summery. It's perfect.

Yea I also agree its a sweet fragrance not a smoky fragrance to me, it really does smell like the marketing. I think I must have received an already macerated bottle because I am getting straight coconut meat and coconut milk, with a hint of Rafaello flavoured sweetness giving it a bit of cakeyness to me. Its definitely a gourmand full stop and a lovely perfume. Its not too sweet and sticky sweet like Creme of Clouds which I would not repurchase again because the burnt sugar was overwhelming, this is far better its the most accurate coconut cream fragrance to me. Its about as sweet as Nebras Elixir which is my absolute favourite fragrance and the level of sweetness I think is just perfect for daily non overwhelming office wear. Love it.

I have only a sample but I love it and will buy a full bottle. I get it why a lot of people hate it, it is quite unique to my nose. I can smell the coconut in the opening with slightly flowery note. In the dry down I get some woodyness, smokiness, sweetness with hint of flowers. I hate woody and smoky fragrances but in this one it is blended perfectly. The dry down remindes me of Afternoon Delight by Replica but better and stronger. The woodyness fades away with the time, it is gettineg weeker and weeker. If you are looking for true coconut or raffaello scent this is not her in my point of view.

Delicious toasted coconut cream! I mean, thick, rich, sweet coconut milk. This was intended to replicate Vanilla Powder but I think somewhere in the “lab”, the accord took a completely different turn. Thankfully I must say. As a lactonic gourmand lover, I can confirm that Coconut Leche smells like a standalone fragrance (not a dupe); unique, sweet, special. Very potent too, so be careful with your sprays. I’ve already gotten compliments wearing Coconut Leche and will recommend it for the colder seasons and maybe, cool summer evenings.

I don't understand the reason why most users are so against this perfume. In my opinion, this is a unisex perfume with toasted coconut and biscuit as the main notes. If you bought it and don't like it, GIVE IT SOME TIME TO SIT! Very misunderstood fragrance. I understand some negative reviews because this is a fragrance with sharp coconut and it needs to sit for a while. The same thing happened with Eclair Affair. First it was a sharp coconut scent and then it became amazing and I can tell this is the same case with Coconut Leche. It's actually sweet but the coconut for now is a bit too sharp. Check for example below Jamie85's review, she says basically what I'm writing.

Interesting. I’ve always been a big fan of coconut in fragrances but, sadly, they’re only a few ones that don’t smell like sunscreen. This one doesn’t. I like it but I don’t love it. I own coco vanille from mancera and qaed al fursan from lattafa and no, this doesn’t smell similar to any of those perfumes, in fact those are quite different just between them. This doesn’t smell beachy it smells clean. Nice

This is so nice!! I really do not understand the negative reviews, even though I know perfume appreciation is highly subjective. This is a well-blended toasted coconut centric fragrance. Def unisex and def for coconut lovers, def good performance. The trick is to let it sit for a few weeks. Coconut lovers unite :))

I love Coconut Leche. I love layering it everything I own. I layer with Rose Jam for Sweetness. Cocoa Morando for Quirkiness. Stick dates again to add sweetness. It smells like creamed rice with roasted coconut. When I layer. After 8 hours I can still smell roasted coconut after all other notes have faded away.

I was NOT a fan of this perfume at first and gave it a terrible review.... However, now that it has been in my collection for a year, it has become one of the most ultra rich, thick and creamy, densely sweet, toasted coconut desserts that iv ever smelt 😍 I was a hater at first, but now I’m eating my words😂

You really need to like coconut to enjoy this fragrance. Very heavy on the coconut, smells like roasted coconut in the opening which turns into creamy coconut milk in the dry down. Non cloying to my nose, and it lasts on my clothes as well.

I'm a guy and its just about almost too feminine leankng, but f%#/ it, I love it. Its a clean, sweet, cozy, warm coconut, lotion, lactonic vanilla scent thats amazing. It has above average performance rihht out the box aswell, its awesome.

Let it macerate. Let it evolve. I purchased Coconut Leche when it was first released. I have owned my bottle since March. When I first received it and opened the bottle, I was quite surprised, disappointed, and concerned with my purchase. Like many have commented it is not what you expect - it smells like coconut in a very artificial way; it smells heavy, and sugary. It doesn't wear the name Coconut well. For the first couple of months I would even describe it as smelling like a concentration of toasted coconut flakes - like coconut sugar. It is now summer and I used it recently and it smells like a much more pleasant coconut and in fact I am very pleased with it now. I see myself reaching for it more now that it has changed for the better. Be patient with your Coconut Leche. It needs some time to grow and develop. I hope this encourages someone!

Wow, the reviews on here are truly hilarious ("putrid", "smoked meat", "nail polish remover", "coconut really burning", "rancid"). I think this scent is stunning but clearly I'm in the minority, and to be fair there haven't been any coconut scents ever that I disliked. Potentially people might be put off due to the fact that this isn't a particularly sweet coconut scent?

i kind of get both sides of the reviews, there’s something screechy in the first sprays that i really dont like and puts me incredibly off, but if i wait a few hours it just turns into this beautiful, elegant, flowery coconut that i really like!! i really hope that maceration can kind of save this lol

I can imagine this is only good if you LOVE coconut, and i can see why a lot of people may dislike this, but i like it! It kind of smells like the crust of a Raffaello, and in my opinion its pretty yummy!

I wanted to love Coconut Leche. I needed to love it. The name alone whispered promises of creamy tropical paradise, a milky coconut dream, perhaps a soft breeze tousling your hair as you sip something decadent from a hollowed-out coconut on a private beach. For a fleeting, shimmering 7 seconds, give or take, I thought it was that dream. The opening is glorious. A creamy, sweet, mouthwatering splash of coconut, like the tropical gods themselves smiled upon me and said, “You’ve done it. You’ve found the one.” And then the betrayal. Suddenly, without warning, it morphs. The creamy sweetness dies a violent death, and from its fragrant corpse rises a dry, musty, haunting ghost of... what is that? Wet cardboard? Grandma’s attic? A beach towel that’s been festering in a plastic bag in the trunk of a car since last summer? It’s not just off, it’s offensive. I kept sniffing, hoping the magic would come back. It didn’t. The fragrance had taken my hope, shredded it, and sprinkled it with expired coconut flakes from a discount bulk bin. It’s as if the perfumer captured the soul of a delicious coconut dessert, and then buried it under a mound of damp laundry. Look, if Coconut Leche stayed the way it smelled in that first heavenly moment, I’d be writing sonnets. I’d be petitioning UNESCO to recognize it as a cultural treasure. But instead, I’m here wondering why my wrist smells like someone tried to ferment sunscreen in a gym locker. This is not coconut milk. This is coconut mildew. May it live forever in my regret pile. I picked up Coconut Leche without knowing much about the hype. What initially drew me in was the flanker itself and the presentation box—both of which were beautifully done. As someone who enjoys coconut in fragrances (I own several, including Versace Crystal Noir), I expected this to be an easy love. On first spray, the sweetness took me by surprise. It immediately reminded me of dessicated coconut sweets I used to have as a kid—there’s a toasted, almost confectionery quality to it that sits between nostalgic and unexpected. It’s neither unpleasant nor particularly exciting. It doesn’t lean tropical or creamy the way I expected, and I can’t imagine it being a compliment-getter off the bat. Right now, I feel like I’d have to layer it to make it work for me. I’m hoping it might settle and develop over time—maybe it needs to macerate a bit since it’s fresh from production (marked January 2025). I’ll give it time to grow on me, but as of now, it’s a question mark rather than a signature scent.

I never write reviews but for this one I will. I blind bought this because of all the hype and influencers saying how this was a true coconut fragrance. This is one of the hardest scents to pull off. It is a toasted coconut. I smell no tuberose. I smell no vanilla. It is literally a toasted coconut with absolutely no sweetness to speak of. This is not an alluring scent nor is it something I would like to smell on someone else. I have over 200 bottles of perfume and many I have blind bought. Some I didn’t like so much, but always found something about the scent That made me keep the bottle. This one... Whoever wants it, please contact me. I will sell it at a discounted price.

I have never had a worse blind buy experience than this. I saw people raving about it on tik tok and saying that it smells like raffaellos. I love raffaellos. Oh the disappointment when I smelled it. It is to smokey at the point of being unpleasant in my opinion. I don't know how the scent will develop over time but for now it is something that I wouldn't want to use. Creme of clouds which gets compared to that or reviewed together is a much more safe blind buy but that one lacks the coconut, you can not detect it easily. If it had more coconut it would have been what I expected coconut leche to be.

I'm a bit torn reg. this perfume. It's kinda too heavy/ gourmande for me. You can smell roasted coconut flakes but not enough for me. It's too sweet for me, not enough on the roasted side, and later on it turns into a tuberose-caramel with underlaying coconut scent. I like and dislike it at the same time. I sprayed my arms like 8x in the morning and it is still present in the evening. It's a bit greasy.

I mean it's milky coconut with a bit of tuberose and that's it. It does remind me of Creme of Clouds, similar vibe, but this one is less sweet, it's more like coconut lotion, while Creme of Clouds is a sweet coconut pastry. Coconut leche is an okay scent, nothing groundbreaking, just buy a coconut scented lotion. For me the smell didn't change, it was linear. Too expensive in my opinion for what it is.

I think I get why some people are leaving bad reviews...you gotta know what you’re getting. This is not a creamy coconut. This is a dry, toasted coconut. I highly suggest you let it sit because at first spray I wasn’t getting ANY floral, and almost no dimension at all. After almost 3 weeks of maceration, the florals are present and I also clearly get the resinous base. It’s not amazing but it is not bad either. I do feel like it’s missing something, it’s a very in between perfume (not gourmand and not beachy), I feel like it would’ve been better if they went all in on the genre of perfume they wanted to create. I will def use it to layer in the summer and add a bit more coconut to my other fragrances. Could also be use to make another coconut perfume more summer night appropriate. Overall I would suggest you getting your nose on it before purchasing. If you’re a coconut note fan and want a different take I’d say you can give it a try!

I received a sample of this and at first spray I was really not a fan. In fact I thought it was a contender for possible the worst perfume I’ve ever smelt. However, I have let this sit for a month or two and bravely revisited it. It’s not as bad as I remember but it still hits you with an immediate blast of photorealistic coconut which overpowers and and all other notes that might be present. In the dry down it just all disappears to my nose and I’m left with a faint smell of coconut - not like sunscreen coconut but plain old “you went and opened a can of coconut milk and spilled it on yourself didn’t you?” It’s no longer deeply offensive to my nostrils it’s just plain coconut bath water

I wanted to love this, I thought it’s gonna be the best coconut scent ever. At first smell I thought maybe it needs to macerate. At the same what something so disgusting can turn into? Waited a month. Then I thought maybe I got a bad batch, I don’t know... Then I read the reviews. And it’s all there and it’s all true. It’s a deep smoky smell, kinda sweet, coconut yes, vanilla maybe. But it’s a leather and smoke 92%, the rest is irrelevant cause you can barely detect it. It stinks like something is wrong with the formula. So, it’s super disgusting and has nothing to do with gourmand.

I just tried a decant and I didn't like it at all, it's not what I expected. What I've heard from some people that it smells like wet dog is true xd it's a coconut smell but not sweet at all, its has like a green note or a smoky touch that gives a sensation of smelling like nail polish, rancid coconut or wet dog. one of the worst fragrances I've tried. it's not a blind purchase, I recommend trying it first. There are people who liked it and people who didn't (as in my case). better try it first before spending your money.

I'm a huge fan of realistic Caraibean coconut scent. If you're like me, do not buy this perfume. It's a cheap-candle-from-poundshop-type of coconut, the one that makes you sick within 15 minutes. Sickly sweet, heavy and extremely artificial. Lasts for about an hour on skin and around 2-3 on clothes which is quite surprising too. I like French Avenue, but this one is a big no no.

My initial impression isn't favorable. This smells incredibly saccharine, sweet and heavy. The tuberose is clawing and overwhelming. It's an incredibly potent and persistent floral note. The coconut is very dense, and there is a burnt sugar or burnt caramel scent to my nose. I'm unable to wear this right now. I'll revisit in a 2 weeks or so.

This is a wonderful fragrance; don’t get me wrong, but the longevity is terrible—it lasts less than an hour on the skin. I have Mango Kiss from the same line, and that one performs way better. Unless they reformulate Coconut Leche, I will not repurchase it again.

I expected a delicious, rich and creamy coconut scent. What I got is a very milky vanilla ice cream that's been sitting in room temperature for several days. Very off putting. I get zero coconut. Sad :(

This is a total flop. It smells like pure coconut skin, it’s kinda woody. I expected a creamy coconut because of the vanilla base note, but it’s leatherish, maybe smoky scent that destroys it for me.

This perfume is hard on the nose. Not pleasant at all, I smell a dry, smokey coconut with no sweetness BUT I think it is good to mix with other scents for a hint of coconut. Not all is lost.

There's a strong biscuit note that ruins it for me. It gives a granular texture I don't like, similar to the granularity you get from Chocolate greedy, or Lira. If you know, you know.

The opening is good, coconutty sweetness, but fairly quickly it dries down to savory barbecue smoke. Gross. Not sure how people can possibly love this?

To my nose, this is an unsweetened smoky coconut. Did not fullfil my expectations so I sold it. I was hoping for a creamier, sweeter coconut.

I bought it because of the tiktok hipe but when I smelled it... it smelled at first like coconut but 5 minutes after it falls and just smells like plastic burning or like coconut really burning. Not pleasant at all. I have a friend that likes “church smoke like perfumes” and she liked it. Because she likes very rare strong smoke perfumes... The positive side is that is really long lasting and has a lot of sillage, which means that if you dont like it as I dont, it gets super overwhelming Also, I dont get any florals or vanilla, just coconut incense smoke in a really unpleasant way. And its not sweet at all. If you want something gourmand or sweet, this is not your perfume because as much as people say it smells Raffaello, its not true I can just think that people commenting positive stuff here are the same tiktokers that got the perfume for free and got paid for the add

The combination of toasted notes and benzoin in the initial blast gives the impression of some sort of smoked meat; not quite bacon but perhaps a ham. Once it dries down it becomes an ok toasted coconut scent. I'm sure they couldn't intend for it to smell this unappealing, so I'll let my decant sit for a few days to settle and try again. I was worried this would be yet another Blanche Bete dupe, so at least it's not boring, I guess... Edit: so I retried a few days later, its nowhere near as smoky and 'meaty' as before. It's a cloying coconut biscuit scent. Biscuit, not wafer (which I would expect to be light and airy). The exact same biscuit-y smell that old school self tanning lotions had.

This was not worth the hype at all.. I bought it because everyone said it smelled like raffaello, but it is sooo different. The tuberose is way too overpowering and the first 10- 20 minutes the smell just makes your nose hurt.. I would say this smells exactly like a cheap shower gel and nail polish remover!! After some time, when the tuberose smell dries down, you are left with almost nothing, its like a body mist... However it leaves a sweet vanilla smell with a hint of coconut (barely noticeable and definitely not worth it..) For the coconut lovers (and even if you like tuberose), I would not recommend this perfume.

I was hoping for a toasted coconut type of fragrance. Oh no. Not in the slightest. So glad I ordered a small decant. I have zero idea where people are describing a toasted coconut tuberose smell. No coconut and no vanilla not even a good tuberose. Overpowering and just very smoky bonfire type rubber burning chemical or kerosene petroleum product burning scent. Sadly nothing remotely like the scent description or notes. I would never guess coconut. Terrible to me. Both on paper and on skin. I really wanted to like this. Back to the drawing board for a good coconut 🥥

Natknęłam się w internecie na wiele pozytywnych opinii o tym zapachu, więc zamówiłam odlewkę. Po pierwszym psiknięciu byłam w szoku, pachniał bardzo kokosowo i też trochę orzechowo. Jednak minęły około 2 minuty i zaczęło mi się kręcić w głowie. Zapach totalnie się zmienił, nie było już w ogóle czuć kokosa, pachniał OBRZYDLIWIE! Robiło mi się słabo i bolała mnie głowa. Najgorsze było to, że nie mogłam się tego zapachu pozbyć z ręki. Myłam kilka razy bardzo dokładnie i nadal go czułam. Nie polecam.

I guess people have forgotten how coconut should smell! It just stinks like vomit after you drink milk, with a hint of incense. Such a disappointment. Shame on the company and influencers who promote it as if it is a Rafaello in a scent. I'm glad I bought a sample and not a full bottle

I am back after 3 months of maceration. It is better? No! Don’t be fooled by some that this is creamy raffaelo coconut type. It is not! Don’t trust me, just see the rating.

Smells like burnt rubber mixed with a nutty and (very) artificial coconut. Not a sweet type of coconut. It’s very linear, sadly. The rating speaks for itself.
