Cosmic Tonka

Nose Note #902 Arabians Tonka is one of my all time favourite scents and I know it very well. This is practically a 1 to 1 to the point I think I won't be buying the OG which is both sad and satisfying. I'd say the difference is - Cosmic Tonka is a bit more accessible, it's a little step less niche less hard knocking oudy sweet. It's like Arabians Tonka is 100% concentration and Cosmic Tonka is 90%. Cosmic Tonka is a bit less performing, but only a little. And it actually feels a bit more smooth than the OG. Again, it's just a tiny bit more accessible. Performance - amazing. Gender - to me this is perfectly unisex. Maybe this typical oriental overkill of oud-rose-sugar is more suitable more men, but generally speaking the DNA is neutral. 10/10, I couldn't be happier they've made a perfect dupe. Please never discontinue this

Tested this in a gas station of all places. In the great state of Texas. It reminds me of Arabian Tonka and Instant Crush. I don't pick up the oud or rose much. Just the sweetness from the Tonka and saffron. I was not expecting much from this but it is pretty good. Not something that I feel needs a full bottle but that's me at this moment in time.

First impressions - I find this one to be more on the feminine side, tonka is nice and gently warm, a bit powdery, rosy notes kick in after 20 ish minutes, I don't feel like it has a crazy projection. A lot of warm spices are definitely present - as if you entered a bakery and opened small jars of nutmeg, vanilla, tonka, cinnamon, sandalwood but it doesn't feel too festive or Christmas style. Slightly soapy when it settles, it's an overall ok scent, good thing I got a decant cuz I probably wouldn't get a full sized bottle. A bit of a generic tonka scent.

Tested as a decant, have not tested the original. It's a rose and saffron opening that dries into a more vanilla scent. I smell the oud through the entirety of the fragrance. I generally dislike oud, but this one is fine. generally not my type of scent profile. I would not buy a full bottle, but still interesting to try. On skin lasted around 9-10 hours with a strong sillage.

Smells like hay bales in the backrooms, strangely sterile but offensive. First time I've smelt something that isn't just a bad fragrance but a good quality fragrance with a repulsing smell. My sister likes it though. Not the biggest fan of our it seems.

This is the type of rose I was looking for. I wish it was less sweet and more rosy but this is still great. opens with a sweet metallic (saffron) rose and drys down quite similarly. the old isn't stinky but more like a chocolate hint in the background. u could wear this in the summer but carefully but very easily in the winter. its not the arabic oud or anything strong like that but its borderline there very nice nothing crazy but def gets the rose oud that I was looking for out of the way could be unisex but def a bit more on the masculine side. Edit: lasts a fucked amount of time

I had the OG a year ago and loved it. Then I bought the Secret Musk dupe which I felt was 95% bang on. I'm on the fence on this one. The bottle of Cosmic Tonka looks nice but it's a bit of an elephant in the room. They really should have used a smaller cap, as this one is bigger than the actual bottle! lol

No idea how close this is to the original but really good quality & smells amazing. Tried this on skin & got complimented on it. Will be purchasing
