Elysian

This is a masterpiece of a fragrance! French Avenue is the leader in UAE fragrances right now! Let's talk about the packaging first. This box is a very sturdy, wooden case with a soft, premium suede interior material that hugs the fragrance bottle. It reminds me of an Arabian Oud presentation. The bottle is gorgeous, only I wish they didn't use a plastic cap. The gold accents look very sleek with the curved bottle, but the brown finish looks extremely cheap. Now the fragrance is spectacular. It opens up with a lactonic, fruity cherry and plum. The cardamom and cinnamon give off a very comforting feeling, giving some weight to the subtle florals. There's just a hint of a smoky oud/rose/incense combination that gives it a very luxurious and high-end feeling - similar to that feeling you get when you wear Ombre Nomade or a Bond No 9. Now I've never smelled Narcotic Delight, but to me it smells like a richer, boozy amber heavy take on TF Lost Cherry / Cherry Smoke. Phenomenal! I sprayed about 8x, and you can smell it strong for a good 5h, and it lasts 12+h on your clothes/skin. I imagine it will get even richer as it macerates. I received 2 compliments on my initial wearing, and will be rocking this the remainder of the winter. This is a true hidden gem!

This isn't close to narcotic delight. Not sure how it got 22 votes and 6 down votes to being similar. With that being said, elysian is a fantastic fragrance. Its actually closer to montale infinity than it is to narcotic delight. Elysian is a great performer but it isn't beast mode. At it's price point I'd like to see a pressurized atomizer but the sprayer isn't terrible. 9/10 from me.

This one is soo similar to their amber saffron....Almost feels like same juice different bottle lol Amazing thou!! 10/10 for me

This was an unsuccessful blind buy for me, but not an unsuccessful perfume. Initially I hated this, it was far too cherry heavy, and the chemical blast made my nostrils burn so I let this sit for two weeks, and this formed into a slightly sweet and fresh cherry/plum in front of a flower garden. Patchouli, incense, and oud sit closer to the skin than the floral and fruit notes, and it personally settles very feminine on my skin. The floral note needs to be more emphasized on as it's VERY prominent throughout the wear, which was the defining factor in it being too much for me, which is entirely my fault. I think it would better suit an mature woman than a man in my opinion, I definitely wouldn't enjoy this on myself as a man or my male partner. If you're looking for the vibe of sitting around your grandma's meticulously preened flower beds with a freshly washed cherry bowl in hand, with decent sillage and pretty long performance, this should definitely be considered for your pick.

This fragrance has grown on me a bit over the past few days. However, I initially purchased it hoping for something closer to Narcotic Delight, which, in my opinion, is leagues above this one in terms of quality and appeal. The cherry note in this fragrance is different—less sweet and less seductive compared to Narcotic Delight. Instead, it leans more into an oud-heavy profile. That said, it’s still a distinctive scent, and you’ll definitely stand out wearing it

The first impression I got from this perfume is that its cherry/plum mixed with leather. It is a really pleasant smell; however, I didn't seem to recognize it as something special. One thing to note is that after a day of wearing, having a shower, and then sleeping for like 8 hours, I woke up and was surprised that I still smell like it, and the smell is pretty strong. Its just that intense, and I've used 4 sprays, one per arm and two on the neck. Like twice as strong as CDNIM for me. Also, I think I accidentally sped up the maceration process by letting more air than supposed to into a bottle. So just after a few days this stuff transformed and now cherry and plum became more fuzzy like lemonade, leather accord unpacked into a huge flower garden (and I dont hear any leather now), and this started projecting like crazy. However I would say now this scent is more female-leaning, but it became so special that I like it more.
