Enigma Deux

An absolutely stellar Angel's Share dupe. Lasts 8-10 hours. So affordable and the bottle is beautiful. It has a pearlescent glass and the cap is very heavy.

Enigma Deux is what happens when Angels’ Share and a vanilla custard tart lock eyes across a dimly lit bakery and decide to run away together, leaving behind only a cinnamon stick and a note that says, “We’ll be sweet, but not too sweet. Don’t wait up.” In the opening, tonka bean jumps out like, “Hi, I’m the main character,” while oak stands behind it like a supportive best friend holding snacks. There’s no harsh boozy blast, no cinnamon punch to the throat - just a warm, cozy sweetness that says, “I’m here to cuddle, not commit arson.” The oud arrives fashionably late, wearing a velvet robe and carrying a cup of chai. It's not scary oud. It's not “I live in the forest and eat bark” oud. Just a soft, polite oud that wipes its feet before entering. Tonka bean is still talking because Tonka bean never stops talking. Enigma Deux behaves like a gourmand with manners. By the time it settles, you smell like a warm vanilla pudding, wrapped in amber, sitting next to a very well‐behaved oud who is reading a book quietly in the corner. It’s cozy, sweet, and slightly flirtatious - like someone who compliments your outfit and then disappears into the night. Projection is soft to moderate. It won’t announce your arrival but makes people want to lean in closer. Sweetness is moderate, creamy and spice level is gentle. It's everyday, office-safe. Longevity is around 5–7 hours, depending on whether your skin eats perfume like a starving Victorian orphan. Overall Vibe: Enigma Deux is the introverted cousin of Khamrah - sweet, warm, and comforting, but without the chaotic cinnamon energy of someone who’s had three espresso martinis and is ready to fight crime. If Khamrah is the loud friend who drags you onto the dance floor, Enigma Deux is the friend who holds your coat, buys you a pastry, and tells you that your ex was ugly anyway.

Smells like apple pie. Slightly masculine leaning unisex. Natural and non perfumey smell. It's a very recognisable smell, if you've tried any unisex fragrance that smells like apple pie, you know exactly what this smells like. The bottle seems cheap and plasticky. Squeaky plastic top and cheap looking iridescent bottom.

A lovely addition to the Angel's Share dupe line, but dial up the sweetness, and dial down the booziness. The atomiser sprays a lot of this juice; I finished this bottle within 2 months - a record! This feels like a diluted mix compared with Khamrah, ergo less value for money.
