Irida

This fragrance is absolutely ethereal. Imagine sitting next to a lake with cherry blossom trees blooming beside you on a beautiful spring day. This scent feels like that - soft, yet elegant and enchanting. This smells very similar to Electric Cherry by Tom Ford. The main differences are in the opening where this is more bright and juicy. I also feel like the longevity and sillage are much better on this as well. This has absolutely captured my heart, and I'm so happy that I don't need to pay over $300 to smell like it. Update: I wear tested this on my wrist the other day and I could literally still smell it a full 24 hours later. The projection and longevity are beastmode on this for me

Gorgeous bottle, maybe from the top 10 beautiful bottles I've ever seen.. Scent wise it starts with cherry that last for 10 minutes, jasmine play in the background, but Musk is the most prominent. I can't detect the ginger in it, It remids of Irresistible by Givenchy, Miss Dior blooming bouquet, YSL libre edp in less extensive way. Amazing for summer. I let it macerate to judge longevity.

It took time for me to get used to it bit I pair it with my Olympea Parfum and it is amazing! Starts off with the cherry note and finishes off fresh! Great fragrance for daytime

This is a very floral, cherry fragrance, very long lasting and it does smell almost like electric cherry but they're not 100% the same. Maybe 80%

Beautiful, fresh, airy and clean famine scent. It projects and lasts too. It’s like a clean girl scent.

It's pretty close to the original, following the DNA closely if not 100% identically. The idea is that is a fresh style of cherry fragrance as opposed to a darker ambery one. It blends touches of fruit, floral and even aromatic fougere fragrance DNAs together into a cohesive whole. You'll find fruity, spicy , floral musky, powdery and amber notes here with cherry and ginger being standout notes on the opening. The amber, musk, floral and powder notes become more prominent on the drydown. The powdery note seems to contradict the freshness this is trying to go for, but otherwise everything fits. This is really fresh, fruity and floral, but note that it might come off smelling like a Sonic cherry limeade drink to some noses. This is fresh and bright, great for warmer weather, for use in social occasions, and younger users will definitely appreciate it. It's unisex but might lean too feminine for some male users. Presentation is beautiful and performance is very good. Recommended.

Was after a wearable cherry fragrance that is not just another Lost Cherry dupe (nothing wrong with that, but one is enough for any collection). Had been eyeing the smart bottles in this French Avenue range especially the blue ones, but could not find a fragrance I liked the sound of, until now. Some might consider this fragrance unsuitable for someone over 60, but do I care? Do I fly! Perfume can be art but it does not have to be - it can just be a simple treat. Like this.

This is very pretty, very feminine, a nice spring summer cherry musk, but it has a low to moderate projection and low longevity... I'm going to try layering it with a heavier musk or maybe a vanilla to try and get more stay power and presence out of it. She's a shy perfume! 😉

I get Dove Pink soap vibes from this. I like it for hot days.

I blind bought this purely because of the beautiful bottle. I looked up some reviews before hand and fell for the hype from frag youtubers. Its a nice cherry scent that is ruined by a plastic synthetic aroma that is predominant throughout the wear. I can't figure what it is from the notes but this is a lesson to myself to stop blind buying! Funny enough i received a compliment the one time I wore this in the office meaning it's not so bad?

There is nothing "delicate" about the jasmine in this fragrance. It overpowers every other note in it's make up. This is not to say it's bad, but it is a very jasmine heavy fragrance rather than a cherry fragrance.

Very soapy/ floral, I don't get any cherry really

I hated it. At first it smells a lot like spicy, sweet cherry... But after a few minutes the ginger absolutely predominates added by a synthetic aroma, it stops being sweet and begins an aroma similar to floor cleaner. Terrifying. However, where I am it is hot, I don't know if the weather affects how the notes behave.

Irida by French Avenue is a great choice if you want a cherry scent that doesn't smell like medicine or thick syrup. Most cherry perfumes are very heavy & thick but this one is actually fresh and bright. It feels light enough to wear when the weather is hot! The smell starts with a mix of sweet cherry and zesty ginger. After a while you'll notice jasmine, which makes it feel elegant and feminine. The best part is the dry down. It has a soft and powdery feel from the musk and amber that makes it very cozy. It really stands out as it's not your typical cherry. Unlike Electric Cherry or Very Good Girl Elixir, Irida leans into a soothing, fresh airiness. It’s 'out of the box' because it manages to be sweet while remaining its own unique airy soothing vibe. It's great for daily use. You can wear this to class, the office or just hanging out with friends. It's a complement getter and it's actually long lasting. It stayed on my skin for about 7 hours and stayed on my scarf until I washed it. If you usually stay away from cherry because it reminds you of cough syrup this might actually change your mind. It’s also a great pick if you already love cherry but want something you can wear when it’s hot outside without feeling overwhelmed. And for the price it’s a solid everyday option.

This is a hard pass for me. This scent opens with a straight soapy scent, like when you pour the washing powder out of its bag. Then about 5 seconds later, that "chemical" cherry scent appears. Then it's the combination of both at the same time, which I don't enjoy at all. Finally, it fades to something less soapy than the opening, but it's still there, with just less cherry, which I think it's okay for me, but I won't purchase full-size because if I go for Cherry scents, I'd go for the smokey cherry note in Francique 107.9. It's so much more sophisticated, with layer of scents. I tried layering the Francique 107.9 with some other floral scents and it turns those perfumes into something I absolutely love - a bit sexy, a bit dark & mysterious.

This one caught me by surprise. In a way, Irida gives me CK One vibes. Definitely unisex with a 90s profile, imo. It's SO well blended, though definitely strong in a way you won't get noseblind to. The cherry and jasmine marry beautifully. It's very different from my current collection, so I ordered a bottle. I was told it "smells like a lesbian" so if that's what you're looking for, lol.

Love the opening, hate the dry down. In the opening, I do get that ethereal fairy scent feel that everyone is raving about. However, a few minutes later it turns into a Dove deodorant smell. Very basic, glad I only got a decant.
