Luscious

My latest obsession! In many reviews this is compared to kayali yum pistachio but I do not think this is by any means a dupe or an inspiration! The opening certainly has a similar zingy gelatinous quality that is very juvenile through it's candied feeling but to me that's the only quality that is close! As previously mentioned the opening has a younger quality with its brightness but as this dries down (which happens very quickly) that zinginess fades into a blanket of a honeyed nuttiness which is just delightful. The sweetness of this fragrance comes from the honey and the tonka which makes this feel quite a mature gourmand compared to kayali's which has a much more artificial sweetness! I love the honey note here, it took me a few wears to truly notice it but it becomes very prominent after maybe 2 hours of wear as the pistachio fades and it is shockingly realistic. It has a deep manuka honey richness so if anyone is longing for a realistic honey note, this is a great and affordable option! For a perfume that is mostly compared to pistachio forward fragrances I find the peanut note becomes the star on dry down, and it's a peanut note that leans greasy and I really like this about the perfume as it feels more specific than some of the drier and toasted nut accords I've smelled. The formulation of this is lovely and has this creaminess that is delectable but not so overtly foody that it is near cloying or headache inducing. Overall, a great versatile perfume that has good performance and projection, it has qualities I love that would make it blind buy safe and I do think it's agreeable but do not go into this fragrance expecting it to be super pistachio, it has it but to me it's not the star. The simplicity of the amount of notes here work wonders and I do recommend to those looking for a richer, deeper gourmand! Also very much unisex! I always note in my reviews that I do not care about fragrance gendering but it helps paint a picture so yeah this is definitely not one I'd expect to be categorised as "female" (31/01/2026 update I am on my second bottle of this and I think this might be a rare repeat buy for me - that honey note is still quite spectacular and I just love how musky the sweetness is here. In my time since this review I came across Baklava Al Sultan by Maison Eau de Couture and I think there is much more comparison to be made with that than the kayali fragrance. In any case I think this really is a standalone and an amazing one. Remains a favourite.)

Testing Yum Pistachio Gelato and its dupes, Khair Pistachio and Luscious on skin simultaneously. Posted reviews for each of these. In the opening, Khair Pistachio is the freshest of these. The bergamot is detectable. There's a shampooey, soapy vibe, like it's lathery instead of creamy. The development takes quite a while and the pistachio-vanilla combo comes out slowly. It turns a bit creamier and sweeter, but it doesn't feel completely gourmand to me. It has the most florals, the jasmine is detectable. It's the lightest and airiest of the 3. KP would be nice for the warm season. YPG gives bright freshness in the very beginning, but it goes away in minutes. It turns creamy and edible fairly quickly. It's sweet, light and quite airy, like whipped gelato. This is the only one where I can detect a bit of rum. Some comments say it's got a clean feel to it and I agree, but it's not soapy to me like KP. It's got a gourmand vibe, but it doesn't smell completely edible. The most complex of the bunch, the development from fresh to clean to sweet takes some time, and at some point in the mids it even smells a little sour. To me, it's the least sweet in the drydown, so if this was too sweet for you, just skip the other ones. I'd wear YPG during the warm season. Luscious opens up instantly nutty. The peanut is actually pretty strong and enjoyable here, as is the pistachio. The texture is much denser, creamier and nuttier than KP or YPG, no florals here. It gives a "warmer" vibe (someone said it's like melted pistachio ice cream). Despite the opening not being very sweet, get ready for the drydown to be VERY sweet; it's quite dense honeyed vanilla and definitely the sweetest of the 3. Luscious would be perfect for the colder time of the year, but I could see myself wearing this in on a summer evening. IMO it's the most unisex of the bunch and also the most gourmand. Overall Luscious is definitely my favorite, which is fortunate, since I blind bought a full bottle based on recommendations. I think it could be worn around the year. It has by far the best longevity and projection. OMG this is absolutely Devine So... A. No it’s not dupe for Kayali smelling Kayali again after this just joke from a nut or cream perspective atleast to my nose and skin chemistrykayali is fresh but not sweet or creamy or nutty as this is l B. To my nose and skin It’s what I actually what I was hoping Kayali to be, this is so much better for what I wanted it to be in my opinion C. The batch / bottle I recieved was 100% photo realistic nut, as in generalised nuts hazelnut, pistachios and peanut absolutely zero alcohol I got from first spray genuinely from The literally does first spray I was in love D. I only want and reach for this I’m actually selling my Kayali I’m a fan if you couldn’t already tell For me when I compare eclair and Luscious arm to arm the sugar spun cream is very similar but I know am a luscious fan girl as I find it more fluffy nutty and actually sweeter than Eclair

I got rid of all my pistachio fragrances and just kept this one. The usual pistachio freshness is supported by the citric note (bergamot) with a touch of spiciness coming from the cardamom. What I find makes all pistachio perfumes the same and not as enjoyable is indeed that freshness. But in Luscious that only lasts for a given amount of time and as it starts to dry the nuttiness and non-clogging sweetness from the peanut and the combo of base notes really shine through. Adding peanut and honey to this fragrance makes it completely stand out from the rest in the market. I can really smell creamy musky tonka in the drydown. In love with every single step of its evolution from start to finish. A unique composition in a sea of pistachio based fragrances.

I blind brought this along with "Liquid Brun". This is such a beautiful nutty gourmand perfume. I already have a bottle of "Khair Pistachio" by Paris Corner and a small sample of "Yum Pistachio Gelato" by Kayali, but this one is my favourite among all. The starting is a bit fresh with the citrus smell but after 2-3 mins it turns to yummy toasted pistachio smell. This literally reminds me of that Dubai pistachio kunafa chocolate. Such a gorgeous smell and it lasts about 8+ hours. This is the best pistachio perfume in my collection and way better than "Yum Pistachio Gelato". The sweet vanilla, honey, tonka gives a chocolate note and off you can smell the musk in the background but its not that dominant.

If you are one of those people who likes edible scents (Gourmands); I suggest you try this one. This perfume is a perfectly balanced combination of pistachio, cream and peanuts. Its sweetness is perfectly controlled and you can smell the pistachio along with the peanut fat. Nose Note #701 I'll keep it short. This is stronger than Lattafa Affection and just better. The scent is richer, a little sweeter, more interesting and natural. More like a milky pistachio. Much stronger than Affection. This very long lasting. Not everyone appreciates the DNA, but I love it. It's definitely a feminine scent though. And mind that it's a gourmand scent, i.e. you'll smell like food. 9/10, the DNA is so unique and beautiful

This a nice pistachio scent...starts off creamy, sweet, super nutty...I'm not picking up on peanut and feel like pistachio overpowers it if there...it has an aromatic freshness about it...I'd say this is a creamier version of Khair pistachio...I really like it...the drydown is a warm honeyed vanilla tonka bean and reminds me of the cozy Blanche Bête Les Liquides Imaginaires..the freshness remains throughout the whole journey. Love.

Great fragrance, very impressed. Pistachio, creamy, fresh, vanilla and marshmallows. Rounded and blended to perfection. Yum pistachio on steroids. Its gets better and stronger after 2 weeks after first spraying it. Performance is great concidering there is no heavy notes in this. This puts Kayali to shame.

As a pistachio fragrance lover, this ticks all boxes. I feel this take on the Kayali one to be much better. The pistachio smells toasted with a light smell of roast peanut. There is freshness on the opening but has a comforting, creamy gourmand dry down. Lasts about 5 hours on me.

The opening lets this down for me, it's so sharp and bergamotty and completely at odds with the gorgeous nutty dry down. The dry down is delicious though and I find the peanut note so charming here. Edit: oh hey, it's been a few days and the bergamot isn't so prominent anymore.

I love Kayali yum pistachio DNA. Though I don't have OG , I have Luscious, Lattafa Affection and Paris corner Khair pistachio. Luscious is the longest lasting and creamiest among these. However, other two have their own merits. If I have to select one , I would go with this.

I get this smooth, creamy nuttiness from pistachio and peanut notes. The honey compliments the nuttiness scent. I’m glad it doesn’t get soapy like the OG. I could wear this everyday.

Beside the hearth was Lattafa Affection, warm-hearted and tender, the Beth of the group: soft, comforting, the scent of a hug you didn’t know you needed. And then there was Luscious. She entered like Jo March, unpolished but sincere, unisex in spirit, with a quiet nuttiness tucked into her character. Not as bold as Lattafa Éclaire Pistache, who would have burst in like Amy returning from Paris, arms full of sketches and opinions but steady, grounded and unmistakably herself. Her presence was intimate from the start, staying close like Jo reading by lamplight. Born in December 2024, she still felt young, her gourmand heart not yet fully matured. I suspected time would coax her forward, the way life slowly shapes each March sister into her truest self. I watched her quietly, wondering whether meeting her meant I should seek out the rest of her family: Liquid Brun and Liquid Brun Limited Edition - the brooding intellectual twins, Meringue the cheerful optimist, Cocoa Morado the mysterious artist, Sweet Paradise the bright social butterfly and Azzure Oud the worldly traveller. But uncertainty lingered. Luscious was lovely, yes, but her voice was still forming. Yet her appearance was undeniable. She stood there in a bottle as elegant as a well-kept parlour, colours chosen with care, lines drawn with intention. She looked like she belonged among finer things. I bought this a couple of months ago, I sprayed it upon receiving it and found it very powdery and sickly sweet, so I let it sit for a while and came back to it in the past week or so. It definitely needed to rest for a while because it smells different now! Maybe it’s just me idk but now it is no longer super powdery, it’s nutty and sweet but it’s a pretty balanced sweetness to me (maybe the peanut gives it a little savory edge). I do feel like there is a synthetic amber chemical of some sort in the base that can be irritating to my nose if over sprayed so I have to be careful (I like pretty soft fragrances anyway). Other than that I overall like this fragrance. It’s not a love however I am hoping it will grow on me a little more. Also I have a mini bottle of YPG to compare it to, it’s pretty close but I would say YPG is more soapy overall, especially in the dry down. I like them both though. I would say this one lasts longer as well. I think if you like the sweet Pistachio genre of fragrances you’ll like this one, it does exactly what it’s set out to do and does it pretty well especially for the price.

6 months ago when I bought this perfume it was a very smooth pistachio-vanilla ice cream scent. It was disappointing when I could not pick out the Peanut note. Now, its more noticeable. However it's very soft and subtle. It is the essence of an unsalted sweet peanut. It's very smoothly blended and a soft cozy scent. I think this is a unique Pistachio perfume worth trying out. It's not the nuttiness I was expecting, but it's there and therefore I am satisfied. The highlight notes in this are Pistachio, Peanut, Honey, and Vanilla. I just love the design of the bottle and it's package. It's very coordinated. Plus, the flourish lettering on the bottle is my favorite element about it!

This is everything I hoped Kayali’s Yum Pistachio Gelato would be; ice cream, nutty, smooth, sweet, and deliciously creamy. I get both pistachio and peanut from this one, although mostly pistachio. Just a touch of salt and cardamom. There is underlying bergamot, but it’s smooth and subtle. It’s far, far less powdery and fresh than the Kayali, and more densely creamy and nutty. Projection is moderate, and longevity around 5-6 hours. Definitely worth a try if you’re after a pistachio ice cream scent that truly delivers.

The opening spray hit really strong. Then the following sprays became somewhat softer and easier to wear. Few days later, the creamy notes became more noticeable. The pistachio and peanut notes were pretty noticeable to me. There was a certain bitterness that kept it from feeling as cozy or warm as other lactonic perfumes on the market. The sillage was amazing during the first hour (tested in a tropical country), and on clothes, the scent lingered for days—which is pretty impressive.

Luscious is a nutty, creamy, musky fragrance with citrusy top notes. It’s an interesting scent that’s growing on me more and more. It has moderate longevity, leans feminine but is easily unisex, and the price is good. It has a similar DNA to Kayali’s pistachio scent but I prefer Luscious because it’s richer and deeper (and lasts better). The packaging is next level - outshines a lot of high-end, pricey brands by light years.

This is a pretty good fragrance. It's nutty and creamy, with a honey note that shines. It lasts forever with solid projection. It's slightly on the feminine side of unisex, but it's not as feminine as Yum Pistachio. If you're a guy that likes gourmands like this, but usually they're too feminine, this is a safer play. I don't quite love this, but I'm happy with what I got for the price. It's solid.

I wasn't impressed with this one at first. The opening was way too harsh and the notes were all over the place. But after a few months of maturation it has now developed into this creamy dream of nuts, vanilla with a hint of honey. The dry down is simply beautiful and I keep sniffing my wrist whenever I wear it 😍

I dont know if like it or not. It is screachy somehow. A little too powdery for me. For me it smells like powdery penuts with honey, slightly creamy sweet scent. It is better in the dry down. But the powdery note is overpowering for me.

Just received it, so i know it's needs to macerate, BUT to my nose it's all over the place.Starts with a blast of citrus and nutty accords along with some weird petrol smell, i can only hope after maceration it will be gone completely.After maybe 5-7 minutes the citrus slowly disappears and the vanilla and honey takes over, at the background the pistachio is prominent, but not the star of the show, i can detect the cardamom as well, but after seeing many YouTube review, i was expecting a yummy sweet pistachio cream scent.I will update after a couple of weeks, hoping maceration process will sort this out.For now i am not in love (yet)

Luscious is quite an agreeable pistachio, nutty and creamy scent. I'm just not wild about it. In terms of comparisons, this does not have the fresh, airy, muskiness of Yum Pistachio. Affection is closer to Yum Pistachio in that respect. Nevertheless, it's not a bad fragrance and I will pass it onto someone who will appreciate it more.

This is a lovely scent, but nothing I need to rush to buy. I got a decant. This is a summer citric/almond/subtle sweet fragrance. Nothing remarkable. The cardamom is not there fortunately, since I hate it. But I was for some reason expecting something creamier, and this is leaning more fresh and citric. So this is a no for me.

There are many similar perfumes with this DNA. Luscious leans to the fresh/green/sweet side of this family. I like Elysia Pista Sundae much better. Also tried Affection and that was too green and fresh and nutty for me. Even if they are all leaning sweet.

The best dupe for Yum Pistachio IMO (I mean that as in BETTER than Yum Pistachio bc I hate it..) but it’s still so incredibly nutty that I can’t stand it! I think I have to come to terms with the fact that I really don’t like pistachio.

Kind of sweetish floral nuts? The nuttiness is kind of bitter to me. I don't know, I can't like this.

This is definitely unisex. There is a muskiness that remains present throughout wearing this fragrance. With that being said it is sweet, dense, creamy, nutty, and rich. I've been wearing it for the last three days and I find myself spraying less and less each time. Today I did one spray on my tummy and that was enough for it to project all day. This fragrance is a BEAST. The pistachio is present but takes a back seat as it dries down. The dry down is a realistic honey and warm vanilla. It's a beautiful more complex gourmond. The peanut note is noticable. It is an almost oily, savory contribution that pairs well with the overall sweetness. Personally it doesn't bother me. This wasn't my favorite at first but each time I wear it I like it more and more. Its really stunning with Eclaire or Bianco Latte, I've tried both.

I don't even know how to describe this but all I can say is it just smells cheap. Got an insane whiff of alcohol in the opening that just didn't leave. Plus I smelled some peanut I guess. I was very excited to try this but I just gotta resell this thing asap

Did not meet my expectations. For my nose, it's a vaguely nutty and milky soap. Cannot smell most of the notes listed. I don't hate it - it's a nice spring/fall day scent that won't offend anyone. Just totally not what I expected.

I'm disappointed. The dry down smells like soap. I'm returning!

Waaaaaaaay stronger, richer, and nuttier than Yum Gelato. I tested this alongside Yum Gelato and Khair Pistachio. This is like the more gourmand, cozier, nuttier relative. The peanut note adds to this and makes it richer. Next to this, I could barely smell the pistachio in Kayali’s. So depends on your preference, but this one would be a great option for cooler months too. A REALLY great one, as well as great value as I found a bottle for about $60AUD. Kayali’s here goes for over $200AUD RRP for a full bottle (I bought mine for a good deal from someone selling theirs). Give it a chance, this one is gooooooooooood if you like sweet, nutty gourmand scents.

It smells like soap layered on top of strong alcohol/ heavy men's cologne. I can't smell any creamy pistachio at all. After a couple of hours it dried down to less alcohol but a more generic soap smell. I don't know if "maceration" will do anything to it. The box is dated 2024, so, not freshly bottled. I should stop buying these Arabian "dupes" - there is always something off in them in comparison to the original. Edit: my boyfriend told me: "Sorry, but you stink...what's that chemical smell?" Lol

I bought Luscious a couple of months ago, I thought it was great from the start, a little unremarkable perhaps, and I was disappointed because I couldn't smell the peanut note. I picked it up today and wow, it has already matured well. The nuttiness is now more defined, pretty much like what the review under me says actually! I'll wait another couple of months to try it again, fully hoping it'll be so good I'll need to sit down after spraying.

I have come to the realisation that Arabian perfumes houses cannot do almond. This began very similar to all of the other soapy pistachio perfumes, but less sweet. Then it became very acrid, to the point I was scrubbing my hand but to no avail. Middle Eastern almond is similar to some of their musks, it burns the nostrils and makes me feel genuinely ill. I wish I got the nuttiness everyone else has mentioned. 😞

This is a nice twist on the original DNA of Yum Pistachio Gelato by Kayali. I love the OG and also had Lattafa Affection (which I didn't like in terms of scent and performance). Luscious is beautiful, nuttier, creamier, not loud but very persistent. I layer it with Kayali's one or wear it on its own in the office and get many compliments. For the price, a must have for all pistachio lovers ❤️

I liked the initial opening of this fragrance which is like Yum pistachio but more nutty and deeper but however , I do not like the musky drydown. The musk ruins it for me. Its a lingering musky note and I really wish it did not have the musk and it should of been left out. I like Afnan Kianna Angel better but I wish the deep nutty honey notes Kianna Angel had like ...this has! lol bummer!

This is what Yum Pistachio by Kayali wishes she can be. Yum smells soapy and sickly sweet in the dry down, but this one does not. It smells like a creamy vanilla pistachio icecream without the soapy scent to it. For 100ML it's much more affordable too.

This has a nice honey note and is a nice sweet gourmand. I would probably recommend letting it mellow for a few months on a new bottle to reduce some of the front end alcohol.

I need someone to compare this against affection because imo affection by Lataffa is the creamiest of all dupes I tried. It'd be nice to see how this compares against that

Yup, Pistachio and peanuts. This is a pass unless you are a super freak for Pistachio. Even so, there are better options.

This is so much better than Kayali Yum Pistacio!! Lusious Is creamier and With more vanilla!!!!
