Paradox Tribute

Nose Note #172 At first I thought "what a nasty smell of a mosquito repellent" and could get my head around it for a week or so. But now, oh man. I entered my apartment today and the entrance was filled with this lush smell of honey and tobacco. I sprayed it on my coat 1 or 2 days prior. This is very long-lasting I don't feel plum or rose. Just tobacco and honey, but it's not monotonous.

I enjoy this more than the original, which I also have worn. The original has a persistent sulphury petroleum nuance to the plum, which I dislike. However, the French Avenue inspo avoids that negative quality to the plum, and sits warmly on skin with the same complexity and depth as the original. This is a gorgeous rose and tobacco fragrance that is absolutely unisex and ready for cold wintery days or nights.

Lean to feminine, smooth blend, good performance, unique scent profile, cheap price, luxurious packaging & bottle. Solid product 👍🏼

Damn it’s good even as a stand-alone perfume because I don’t care what it dupes.

I've been lurking in the shadows here for maybe 2 years and this is my first review or comment about a fragrance that I've purchased. This fragrance like many others I've purchased prior doesn't smell like I had hoped. I can only wait and see if it comes around after maceration like so many have the last couple years. Currently it's mostly a floraly rose bomb. Maybe by fall or winter the tobacco will take front and center while the rose takes a backseat.

Mine was pretty weak when I got it, didn't really wow me. Now every time I pick it up it smells better and stronger. I've had it a few months and it's amazing now! It's a really rich, beautifully blended rose. The rose, chocolate and patchouli really meld together nicely. Don't give up on it!

Amazing scent the opening and on skin smells like Xerjoff Richwood, but as it dries down on the tester it smells much different..imo goes into the direction of Initio Side Effect. Very very good with good projection from what I can tell so far.

Great interpretation of BDK Tabac especially after a month or so of macerating. I sprayed this on at 3:45pm and it’s now 10:55pm the fragrance still going strong
