The original was a dead on clone of Angels' Share, Nero was a dead on clone of Qawah which is itself a clone of Angels' Share and now we have Vintage which is a clone of Old Fashioned (though some also liken it to Single Malt). Straight up, this is a very strong booze forward fragrance with a strong and surprisingly realistic note of whisky. So much so that it may actually give off the wrong impression to people that you've been drinking when you haven't, at least on first smell to some noses. It's a very strong blend of fruit, whisky, herbal, tobacco, vanilla, and powdery notes. It's a good blend, but let's be clear, the whisky note dominates here. Original Royal Blend also had a strong booze note, but that is a Cognac note note so it comes off a lot smoother and gentler. Vintage is a hammer in comparison. A very good one, but still a hammer. This is rugged and masculine and will suit older users perfectly. It's marketed as unisex, though I'm hesitant to recommend it to women. It's perfect for nighttime use, especially date nights and intimate occasions. It also works surprisingly well for more formal occasions. Just note again that this is so strong it may give off the wrong impression. So much so that this actually has really divisive reviews on Fragrantica whereas its siblings have great reviews. This may not live up to the hype of the others, especially with them being so much better received. If you love boozy fragrances, though, nothing short of actually splashing real whisky on yourself is going to top this and this smells better thanks to all the other smooth notes blended in. Highly recommended.

Everyone has their own experience, perception, and opinions. Here's mine as the son of a scotch drinker (chivas), and a fan of some single malts I can't afford. I don't believe the notes here nor on the card. When I spray this, I am transported to childhood, and it's extremely comforting. FA is one of my favourite brands and although not long lasting, their fragrances are addictive, and smell great. This smells like scotch to me. Maybe not a very deep one, i smell a scotch and soda after a couple of hours. I don't get fresh, I don't get any fruit. It's not dry, it's not sweet nor syrupy. I think it's a great interpretation of scotch. If you haven't smelled scotch before, it's mossy, and boggy, and smells a bit like wheat based cereal or bread wth added funk (or feet). This doesn't get that deep. It smells great on my skin and improves as the day goes, but it always smells like scotch. I think for a mature individual, this could be an excellent date night or party fragrance in most climates and temperatures. For scotch and whisky lovers, this is incredible, and my favourite booze themed fragrance of all time.

I haven't tried this dupe just yet, I ordered a decant today. I just want to point out that most people probably are expecting this to be like Angels Share, but it's supposed to be a clone of Killian Old Fashioned. I love Old Fashioned, but it is nothing like AS, if you haven't tried OF before and you are expecting this to be like AS, you are probably going to be disappointed. The real Killian OF is sitting at a 4.01 on here, don't be surprised if this doesn't rate very highly either. I think the real Killian frag fell into the same trap where people were expecting an AS flanker because the packaging is so similar and got disappointed when it wasn't. I think OF is a far superior fragrance to AS, but that's just my opinion, it's objectively not as much of a mass appealing frag as AS. I just thought it was relevant to point these things out. I'm extremely excited to try this because as much as I dig KOF, the price is disgusting at $250-$300 for a 50ml.

Nose Note #706 I think I like this and Sequoia even more than the original Angel Share's/ Khamrah DNA. This is definitely more suited for the gentlemen, whereas Angel Share's is for the ladies. Instead of an apple pie this smells like a plum tobacco blend. Definitely not as crowd-pleasing as the Angel Share's DNA, but it's good on its own. Smells like a mix between Initio Paragon and Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka or Dior Bois d'Argent. Or you could say this is like Dior Bois d'Argent reimagined. 8.8/10, very beautiful and feels very classy. It would go with a suit so perfectly UPD 9.4/10, I'm adding this to my most favourite list. This just performs so great, amazing longevity. Amazing scent. It's a lot like Firestorm, but stronger - the impression is similar, but Firestorm has an apple note and it's resinous, whereas Vintage is boozy. Just amazing. Sophisticated, elegant, beautiful, unisex leaning masculine.

Notes on here are incorrect. SEA Fragrance has posted the correct notes down in the reviews. Overall an amazing cologne that I absolutely love. While not the strongest and longest lasting. It's still very good especially for the price. In a way, it reminds me a bit of Bentley Intense & Lubin Idole. A sweet middle ground of the two. Boozey, warm, not too sweet. Overall. The juice inside this bottle. 10/10. Update: Gone through 2 bottles of this onto my third. Absolutely love it. Extremely photorealistic rum note. I get more of a golden rum, leaning a touch brighter than a dark aged rum. I use this a layering fragrance to add a boozy touch to some other perfumes. My current fave combo is this with Colosseum. Literally smells like a better even more boozy version of Triumph Of Bacchus. Awesome stuff 🔥

I absolutely adore KOF, it's my personal favorite from Kilian. French Avenue did a pretty decent job recreating it for a fraction of the price. This isn't as deep or well blended, but it smells very similar to me. I won't complain too much because this cost me $34 after shipping for a 100ml and you will be lucky if you get a 50ml of Old Fashioned for less than $150. Longevity seems to be pretty good, my only real complaint is up close this smells like a very heavy dose of Iso E Super over the actual notes listed, and I don't get that same effect with the real deal. KOF smells like lightly smoked candied fig over woody and whiskey, you get much of that here, just not as much depth to it.

As a Scotsman it was a shock smelling this on first opening... it smells exactly like a single malt whisky (no ‘e’). As it quickly dries down it becomes more balsamic. It’s vanilla sweet too. If you like Khamrah this is different enough but in a similar ballpark to make it worth buying. It slightly sharper caused maybe by the davana ? It smells really classy. Masculine, more cool weather, late night vibes. Perfect for a Gentleman’s Club or a Cigar smoking room. A safe blind buy if you like warm boozy scents. Age 28+. Good performance. Nice heavy bottle and large box packaging. You won’t smell like a ‘drunk’ wearing this, you will smell expensive. 8.75/10.

For me, this is an uplifting summer boozy fragrance with hints of dry hay. It’s like a walk in a field of hay on a summer breeze while sniffing an expensive cigar in a box. You have to love tobacco and boozy notes to appreciate this one. It opens with a burst of boozy notes, and during the first minute it can feel a bit suffocating, but don’t worry—it quickly settles down. Airy, sweet, and slightly tangy, it follows you with a delicate, sophisticated trail. Unisex. Niche quality fragrance, nostalgic and charming. Good staying power but needs to maturate first Moderate projection and sillage, depending on how many spritzes you apply

Tried some Kilian Old Fashioned at a Sephora and fell in love with the scent, but not the price. It’s this super addictive, funky, and warm scent that really sticks to your skin. I immediately looked for the best dupe and came across this. French Avenue has done it again. While there are some trade-offs (it doesn’t have quite the same sharpness to the funk, doesn’t project as much, and isn’t quite as well blended), it’s remarkably similar, especially after it’s dried down. It’s a $40 bottle that smells extremely similar. I’ll get a bottle of the real thing eventually, but this will do just fine for now.

This is kilian old fashioned and kilian single malt, leaning slightly more towards single malt but not as spicy. I’d say it’s an in between of the two but difference between them are all negligible, if you’ve owned single malt and old fashion you’ll know the minute differences but everyone else won’t. This is very hyper realistic malted whiskey, if you like boozy frags you will like this budgeted single malt old fashioned interpretation but otherwise you will be sorely disappointed thinking it’s anything like angels share

To me,take boss bottled elixir mix it with pure malt add a little bit of kutay or baraonda and this is it.woow and the quality is so good very boozy balsamic choclaty with good performance and very nice bottle and amzing price. Scent 9/10 Performance 8.5/10 Bottle 9/10 Price 10/10

This whole line smells extremely expensive. I'm extremely impressed with french avenue and the royal blend line. My favorite is bourbon but vintage is a 10/10 fragrance too. Insane performance on all of them as well.

Think of a boozy apple whisky old fashioned cocktail. It even has this interesting cooling effect like a chilled beverage. Can’t decide if I like this or the normal royal blend better.

I love it. So boozy scent that has that DNA of By Kilian. I haven't smelled the Old Fashioned, but I could imagine based on the boozy DNA that we something here. Very nice.

I actually think the card that comes with it has the incorrect notes. Notes like chocolate, vanilla, and tonka are straight up not there.

Smells like plum palinka. If someone poured this into a shot glass for me I would think it's drinkable.

If you're looking for something super boozy, this likely won't satisfy. Instead, the main body of the fragrance is centered around that familiar Carlisle/Mystery Tobacco/Exclusif Tabac dna that's heavy on the tonka and davana. The main difference here is that the honeyed sweetness is paired with a pretty obvious though high-pitched plum accord that lasts well into the drydown. Fortunately, smelling it up close, it certainly does give me Kilian vibes because of its construction, although closer to Single Malt. Much closer to Carlisle though, without that harsh guaiac or warm apple. The tonka even comes off like a tobacco accord, to the point where blind testing would've had be guessing that it's a sweet tobacco fragrance (which it kinda sorta is). But it's not a very complex scent, nor unique, nor outright boozy. In fact, it's pretty redundant if you have most of the sweeties from PdM. Fortunately, if I didn't already have something like Exclusif Tabac or Shaghaf Oud Azraq, this would be an easy buy for the autumn because it's basically a perfect fall scent and solid to layer with. Plus the presentation is WELL above that of most designer and niche stuff, minus the crappy atomizer. Longevity is good too - great off of clothing - and it projects well for at least 3 hours if you double-tap (8-12 sprays), so I wouldn't class it as weak, even without sitting for weeks to months. As a beginner, this would've been a love; but there are just so many things out there that have this exact dna. And as far as booze, yeah no. RB Bourbon has more, and even that one is more of a rummy chocolate mint. But whereas that one screams the holidays, this one is more like a casual autumn hangout. Boring, but good material quality, well blended and super pleasing. A strong like. Scent - 7.5/10 Longevity - 8/10 Projection - 7.5/10 Overall - 7.75/10

I highly recommend testing this fragrance before making a blind buy. A few days before purchasing Vintage, I had the opportunity to try on Old Fashioned. Personally, I enjoyed it, but I understand that it may not appeal to everyone. From what I recall, it was a remarkably accurate recreation of the original scent. The opening is quite strong, featuring a prominent like boozy note that doesn’t linger for long. Afterward, it transitions to a woody aroma, but not a cozy or inviting wood. Instead, it evokes a speakeasy-like atmosphere, reminiscent of a quiet and sophisticated bar. This fragrance is definitely suited for special occasions and is not suitable for everyday wear.

Is it just me or does this remind me of Tom Ford - Tobacco Vanille?

I was order (Royal Blend) , but received this (Royal Blend VINTAGE) by mistake. I am not sure yet , sometimes I feel I like it , sometimes I feel it normal , but of course not hate it. It is good , but nothing special , it gives an old-fashioned feel , which is justified given the name. It smells like raisin molasses , raspberry syrup , cigar , tobacco leaves . It is not overly sweet , just a touch of sweetness , which is good for me. This fragrance reminds me of 2 other fragrances . Imagine if you mixed 70% of (Bentley For men Intense) with 30% of (John Varvatos Vintage) , this is what this (Royal Blend Vintage) smells like. If you like these types of fragrances , you will love this as well. Of course I prefer (John Varvatos VINTAGE) the most out of the three. Overall, It is a good value for the price considering the scent. There is no synthetic scent here , but also not safe for blind buy. Longevity is very good , but sillage is moderate , which is good for this type of fragrances , otherwise , It will make you feel suffocated if it was stronger than that.

Open with strong liquor scent, then sweetness creep out little by little while liquor in the opening tone down to balance the other note. Didn't smell bad, actually it's well blend and quality of scent is really good. When dry down it's smell like balsamic vanilla malt with tobacco but at this point it already become skin scent. Also performance on my skin is really lacking in both projection and longevity. Good fragrance, still lacking in performance even though I think maturation could improve on this but the scent profile is not my type.

As someone who own both Khamrah, Royal Blend, Royal Blend Nero, decants of Angel's Share and Sharaf Blend, I thought I like boozy fragrances but after I tried this, I realized that I might like only the sweetness in those fragrances LOL. Got this Royal Blend Vintage about 5 days ago, at first I thought it was a safe blind buy since I love Royal Blend and Nero so much. Disclaimer : Haven't tried Old Fashioned, have no idea what it smells like. For this one, I don't like it at all. Smells like drunk middle age man. The initial spray was very 'fermented' wheat and then became 'musty clothes' smell. The dry down was those 'generic' soft vanilla, which is better. This is the fragrance that needs specific look and occasion to pull off. Like a silver fox daddy with open button shirt going to the club. Not a bad fragrance just doesn't match my taste. Performance is decent by the way. Luckily, this one is still at the begining of the hype train, I just sold mine yesterday with the price a little lower from when I bought it. I see Royal Blend Bourbon releases at the same time but it's not available in my country yet.

One of my worst blind buys. Doubt even these notes r fake to hype ppl into buying it. This is straight up cough medicine vibes, ans i cant get past it... Boozy Malty cough medicine. Thats about it. I wasted my money, atleast i can review!

Got a decant of this and I must say that to me it is quite repulsive. It tried to imitate the aromatics of whiskey but sadly it ends up smelling really strongly of cough syrup. Wouldn’t recommend blind buying. This one is a pass.

Careful with bourbon and vintage. They are not mass appealing. If you like actual alcohol smells this is vibe. Not blind buy safe

Photorealistic 1:1 dried figs smell

I've only had this less than a week so difficult to make any definitive conclusion as it may change and develop BUT.......... So far this is pretty raw and messy but fascinating all the same. It starts off with a super strong punch in the face of a neat whisky, just nothing more than scotch whisky. Thankfully it dries down to a lovely old bar-room smell. Picture this in your mind ......this is the scent i feel....its 1820 in a rowdy riverside bar in Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow, the east end of grimy London, with smoke in the air and oak dirty wood panels, dogs and sawdust on the floor and spilt ale and whisky all over the thick wood tables. Interesting vibe and a James Joyce, Charles Dickens, Dostoevsky novel scent (for me anyway). I very much like the drydown after about half an hour as the dirty whisky stench fades. The whisky smells extremely authentic but i personally don't like it, its too strong and actually too authentic (!?) and overpowers the whole mix at first then vanishes. I like the overall feel of this fragrance but it would be better to move the whisky into the blend and less prominent and i am hoping over time this whisky will fade as it's sharply in your face. If you wore this scent to work, your colleagues and the boss will think you've been getting pissed and drinking whisky. Not a good vibe to bossman and not a good vibe to give off on a date either probably. Maybe as time goes by this will mature and refine more and get better. So far its a 6/10 but its early days yet. Interesting and unusual, but very raw so far at least. UPDATE ..... 5 months later...Feb 2026..this has mellowed and blended with time and i think this stuff is magnificent now. I love it. Its a unique creation and a realistic recreation of a historic era, its just like i'm in an era of liberty and freedom, its feels purely like an evening in a raucous grimy old Tavern 250 years ago. Oak, Guaiac wood, whisky, davana, and a note of hay in there too. No smoke or tobacco much with a light woody base. I love the vibe and feel of this fragrance in every way but performance after maturing a few weeks is not good however.....projection average at best and and sillage is negligible. This lets the scent down. Longevity is around average, 5 hours or so. I just wish it had more mojo, then i'd give it a straight 10/10. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a mature gentlemans fragrance with a different imagination to most. This is less a scent and more an era of history. A wonderful creation and a truly fine scent. Millenials will probably hate it, not snowflake friendly. This is pretty unique and unlike most boozy scents i've tried. 9/10 for me

I just received the fragrance. Fragrantica note breakdown is slightly incorrect. There is a little complimentary card in the package with the note breakdown for the fragrance. Top note : Davana Heart note : Immortelle, Rhum, Tonka Bean, Chocolate Base note : Sandalwood, Amber, Cedarwood, Labdanum, Tolu Balsam, Moss, Musk, Vanilla I'll come back later to edit my review. But already a strong contender to Kilian Old Fashioned. EDIT : After several wears, I really enjoy it. The fragrance is boozy only in the opening — like pouring a glass of rhum, whisky or scotch. Since the opening is never the most important part, after about an hour the fragrance shifts toward Immortelle, supported by a balsamic amber accord with a noticeable tobacco accord. Not tobacco leaves. Think of the scent of an unlit cigar. This fragrance tends to generate strong reactions around me. I’ve worn it five times: three times people asked what I was wearing because they liked it, and once I received a direct compliment. People notice it without it having beast-mode projection, and it lasts at least eight hours on my skin.

Just got this in, and I love it. Its very different, it doesn't smell like anything else I own. When it dries down a little I definitely get a sort of hay like, grainy smell from it that's hard to describe but super cool. I guess this is the kind of thing where people would say "not a safe blind buy" but I buy all my stuff blind so I'd say go for it if you like interesting and out of the unusual kinds of scents. Also, the notes are listed on a little card that came with it. Top notes: Davana Middle Notes: Helichrysum, Rhum, Tonka bean, Chocolate Base Notes: Sandalwood, Amber, Cedarwood, Tolu Balsam, Moss, Musk, Vanilla I wrote it out the way it was written, Helichrysum is the same as Immortelle. "Rhum" I'm not sure about but there is a specific type of rum called Rhum Agricole that is made with sugarcane juice instead of molasses, so that could be it, or they just spelled it like that to be fancy... Who knows!

If you were hoping for this to smell like booze, it definitely does NOT smell like booze. I haven't smelt the OG to compare. Angels' Share smells distinctly more boozy than this. This is in the same general scent theme as scotch whisky, but it doesn't actually smell boozy at all. It's more so like scotch with the alcohol evaporated away. It's a light spring-time amber that's sweet, and with a tiny touch of gritty texture perhaps from the tobacco. Ultimately, this is a spring-time ambery scent. You'd use this in the same temperature and situations as Angels' Share, which I also classify as a spring-time ambery scent. It's a very nice scent but it is NOT boozy. Unisex, slightly leaning masculine.

A not too bad substitute for drinking alone... (no, there is no fragrance with that name.:-) The brief opening has some boozy sugar. Alas, it ́s no more than a glimpse, a single breath almost completely forgotten by the drydown. The main story is a sentimental comfort blanket which can trace its origins back to Shalimar edp and Heritage edp by Guerlain. FA Vintage isn ́t as nuanced as the Guerlains but it ́s a fairly good sophomore.

Idk whether it’s my personal skin chemistry or something but I don’t scent any old fashioned vibe. At the beginning it was boozy , rich opening with cognac and dry fruit notes. But it just few minutes it set down with vanilla and incense smoky notes. It even reminded me of Eau duelle by Diptyque in some way. Overall I really liked this perfume but as an independent not linked to old fashioned by Killian in any means

Hoping this can macerate and completely change as this smells so bad, 1 of only 2 frags that I have had to wash off 🤢

Big boozy opening. Premium Cuban cigar drydown. Very natural-smelling. Honestly, impressive quality!
