Venus de Milo

To me this doesn't smell at all like empire victor (or Nebras ) despite a previous review .. it has vanilla and musk but thats the only similarity, this is very floral with some bright fruity opening with a musky milky vanilla base. It's a nice fragrance, the dry down reminds me a bit of her confession but this one isn't so stuffy whereas her confession is way too stuffy for me.. But it has that kind of powdery vanilla baby-head kind of smell when it dries in the background but it's still balanced out by the fruits and caramel. Someone else compared this a bit to gharam and now that I think about it I can see the comparison there as well it's probably why I like both as they're similar. Not a dupe or anything but this fragrance is hard to compare to anything.. I don't smell anything similar to nebras but then again everybody picks out different notes in perfumes doesn't mean that they're wrong. For example blanche bete is a very polarizing perfume and there is something in here that has notes that are shared with blanche bete probably whatever milk and musky notes they have.. to me that really stands out but to others it might just be not noticeable. Okay update: and I even like this fragrance a lot more now.. I've worn it few times I decided to get a full bottle.. there's something that I can't stop smelling on my wrist, my husband is obsessed with it on me he says it's somehow giving off pheromones lol. He can smell it a few feet away even though it doesn't seem strong to me. I think that's BS but hey if he loves it that's a bonus! This is definitely not a safe blind by though I would get a sample

This is so so pretty I’d describe as a soft peaceful Summer Gourmand Think: Bridgerton in a white cotton dress embroidered with cornflower, sitting on a swing under the branches of a cooling tree reading a book, eating pear drops and ice cream soda whilst enjoying a summer breeze’ Very feminine. Sweet, creamy, pure sensual. Smells refined and valuable. Calming I kinda get a vanilla /fruit jam in the dry down. It’s almost so familiar scent like I’ve always owned it but also new and different than anything else I own Delicious I love it The box and the bottle are Gorgeous worth displaying. Instantly purchasing a back up bottle. I detect NO similarity to empire Victor. If anything the pear and vanilla in Venus De Milo put me in mind of Gharam Lattafa but minus the aniseed vibe I personally get from Gharam. It’s sweeter and softer than Gharam to my nose also.

This is an original. It is not a dupe of Baciami. It does not smell JUST LIKE the other Middle Eastern Baciami dupes. This actually smells more similar to KILIAN Kissing than Baciami, but still not a dupe of Kissing either. I love this fragrance. It is by far one of the best Middle Eastern fragrances for me (coming from someone who tends to love Indie/Niche more than Middle Easterns and Designer). This fragrance stands on it's own, is a little more unique. It's a creamy floral-gourmand with some brightness from the fruits. If you adore fragrances like Kissing and Baciami and are open to trying something else in the same category then give this a try. Many times I will reach for this one over those other 2, but I love all 3.

My God this is gorgeous 🤦... I rarely react like this to any feminine scent, and I’ve smelled A LOT, this is different. Those fruits and white flowers made it typically playful and feminine, but then comes in the milk, almost dry and chalky but in such a good way, gave it character, and I was like "hello?!". It’s not a random girl you walked past on the street, she’s the girl you crossed the street to reach. She’s not just pretty, she got personality on her, this calm confidence. If the word 'Pretty' had a scent, it would be this. Hands down the best feminine scent I’ve smelled yet and it’s by Fragrance World FFS, for only 40$. It’s not too sweet, not too gourmand, not too loud, isn’t trying too much. It’s just perfect lol.

The bottle is a work of art and so is the fragrance. I love the soft florals, the touch of creaminess. It’s ethereal. The middle notes are what I really smell in this perfume - the white florals are the star, with a splash of milk supporting them. Comparing this to Her Confession, this is lighter, more floral, and it’s not super lactonic but only slightly creamy. They’re very different to me (like cousins) and I’m glad I have both. Edit: just tried this again after a couple weeks and was surprised to find it’s way more fruity now. I didn’t really get any fruit before and now they’re pretty strong in the opening but do tone down again after a few minutes while still remaining present.

This smells incredible. A milky floral-gourmand but it is not like Blanche Bete or it's dupes. It is closer to Baciami but not exact - more milk here similar to KILIAN Kissing. This just smells incredible. Sweet milky floral, very cozy, feminine, and delicious. I also own Sharaq (and all the fragrances I've mentioned) and love that one too. The only one I don't have yet is Gharam. I guess I need to get that one next. I really love these types and they're all just different enough from eachother but also beautiful in their own right.

I am so glad I broke my promise not to buy perfumes any more this year. I thought, if I don't like Venus de Milo at least I have a nice ornament to put on my perfume tray. This is a very strong Love. This scent is so beautiful: it's ethereal, like you are floating on a cloud. It's also motherly, reminds me of the time my now adult kids were small. It is also sensual in a very descreet way. This is a very soft and gentle scent, can be worn anywhere, anytime.

This smells really pretty. I get an ethereal vibe from it, it's milky white floral similar to Blanche Bete DNA but slightly more complex. I personally don't smell the fruity notes but I do get something woody/spicy for some reason. I think this was definitely worth the money but I would say you have to like that Blanche Bete DNA

A lot of people are comparing khadlaj nafais sharq to gharam but it's almost identical to Venus de Milo..it's not listed on fragrantica yet but you can't go wrong with either. Gharam is not as milky and a bit more floral and airy..

I feel like this is the daytime version of Gharam. I agree with the person below saying this is lighter/airy/soft. I am not sure if that is just because my bottle is new? Both are stunning fragrances.

Venus de Milo is less sweeter and less citrusy version of Empire Victor. I owned both and compared them side by side. Could be easily Hufflepuff cousin too, but definitely not a dupe.

To my nose, this smells like Lattafa Gharam, but Gharam is more floral and this one is more creamy. Both smells similar to Baciami.

Just got it and it is amazing smelling....flower and light creamy. Stellar times child and 2d cousin of Billy Eilish..

I’m obsessed with these statue bottles, they are truly works of art and think they look wonderful in a collection, even if you don’t like the fragrance. To me Venus, Sawaar & Her Confession are all in the same family, maybe siblings, or perhaps cousins. A very similar experience with each one with the milky vibe to it. I think they’re all beautiful as their own. I heard it was a dupe blend of Eilish No. 1 and LV Stellar Times, and while I haven’t tried LV, I do not get any sort of Eilish DNA from this. I thought Eilish was a basic boozy vanilla and ended up selling it due to not wearing it anymore. It’s fine, but I find Venus is a pretty blend of milky notes, a little powdery and a little fruity all mixed in a very nice way. It’ll last a couple of hours and sort of melt into a soft powdery skin vibe without it being too skin type. I think it’s fresh enough for anyone not wanting that baby powder scent, like a smack to the face. I would layer all 3 for a unique experience, and rate it in the middle of Sawaar & Her Confession as a balance.

Venus de Milo isn’t the kind of perfume that announces itself; it’s the kind that makes people look around and think “something smells really good... oh wait, it’s you.” Up close, you’ll struggle to pin it down. Press your nose to your wrist and it’s like chasing a ghost, but step back and it unfurls into a soft, luminous aura. It’s delicate without being dull, sweet without being sugary, and strangely comforting, like clean air drifting through sheer curtains on a sunny morning. Not a fragrance that fills a room, but one that fills the space around you with quiet elegance. P.S. Nothing like Nebras, Blanche Bête or Her Confession for that matter.

I was really hoping I'd love this fragrance enough to get a full bottle because the bottle is stunning. Now, I do love the scent, its lovely, lightweight and feminine, mostly floral and a slight citrus and muskiness to me. It lasts a few hours on skin and it lasted 12+ hours when sprayed on my pillow. However, the projection is non-existent, it is undetectable unless I put my nose right into my wrist (or pillow) even literally 2 minutes after spraying! My bf agrees, says it smells nice but he can't smell it unless he smells my skin directly. So unfortunately will not be buying any more than the 5ml that I have.

This to me is a milder version of Khadlaj Nafais Sharq. Less sharp and polarizing imho... Works really well on my skin - sillage and projection alike. I dont think it is blind buy safe tho - whether or not it is considered "cheap".

The backstage food vendor for Slim Jxmmy (the lesser half of Rae sremmurd) wore this on her. They got it from an Arabic store in Minneapolis.

I REALLY wanted to like Venus de Milo. I've been on the hunt for a Middle Eastern perfume that is creamy, heady, sultry and mixed-white floral with a bit of a twist. I recently purchased Khadlaj "Nafais Sharq," which I like a lot. I was hoping for a perfume along similar lines as Nafais Sharq but with even STRONGER white florals. I'll see if letting VdM sit for a while changes anything; however on skin, I mostly get a lactonic, very sweet, caramel note/accord with very few florals and a heavy musk base. The perfume is okay but not great. I'm recognizing I really dislike caramel ANYTHING in my fragrances. For me, the nectar, caramel and milky notes are just too sticky sweet and too cloying. For now, VdM just does not resonate with me. I have Lattafa "Gharam" on its way...so we'll see how that goes.

I’ve had this for a month now. It’s a nice white floral foward perfume, with a sweetness to it. I don’t get the fruity aspect that much, maybe just the sweetness of the pear. I don’t get the comparison to Blanche Bête and certainly not Nebras. There’s a very slight creaminess but not as milky as BB, it’s much more the creaminess of the white flower, in full bloom in the summer sun. As I gourmand perfume lover, I do not find it gourmand, but it’s a nice summer creamy floral, kinda in the same way as D&G Dolce Garden. Its inoffensive and I don’t think anyone would hate this perfume, as long as you like white florals.

This was a blind buy fail for me. I love milky, musky, floral scents...but not this. There’s a note here I don’t like - I think it could be the musk as it mixes with the lily. The peach then adds a fruitiness element to it, which the musk makes it smell slightly rotting. I fully expected to love this, but between the mad opening and the musky drydown, it’s just not for me. The bottle is beautiful. This doesn’t smell like Her Confession, Nebras, or Blanche Bete, which people have mentioned, all of which I love.

I like this scent BUT, either I go nose blind to it quickly, or it is gone. I really don't know. But because of this I am only rating it OK. I have resprayed within a 2 hour span and still- same. I will allow it to mature a bit more, but otherwise this is simply going to be one I decant to keep in my purse as one to layer and respray throughout the day

I really like this smell on blotter, pear in caramel with milky and white flowers accords 😍 But on my skin, after 30 minutes it’s only musk, and a little bit milk accord 🥲

This is really Lattafa Nebras with a nose tingling fruity note. I was hoping for Baciami but sadly this is not.

She offers ripe peaches and pears on the platter, juicy and bright. There are a few oranges too, adding a sparkling sensation to the delectable fruity concoction, so luscious and exuberant. Milk starts flowing in swirling in gentle waves through the fruits, delicate, smooth and tranquil. It takes away the sharper facets of the fruits' notes and brings them all together in a divine nectar that the Ancient Greek Gods feasted upon. It is just that now we, mere mortals, can also partake in this divine banquet. LOTV keeps the sparkling note shining through the perfumes heart, jasmine is delicate and comforting. It does not seek to break through/ahead and own the floor, no, here it is one of the 9 muses, Terpsichore I wold say, for it sings in a choir of notes ever so beautifully and aligned with the rest. The scent flows, expands and glistens on one's skin with close but rich projection, not invading the space and at the same time making itself noticed. Its soothing in a most flavourful manner, without being intense or crushing, but instead humming with alluring voice and shifts. Musk and vanilla are airy and iconic. They join in the chorus and keep it going for hours on one's skin. The entire composition is reminiscent of the Venus and Cupid by Lorenzo Lotto, with flower petals on the Goddesses' satin-like skin, bejewelled crown on her noble head and her son Cupid playful and mischievous as always by her side. "Venus de Milo" is a divine gourmand scent that takes one into the realm of gods and legends and envelops in virtuoso scent of love and grace.

I got suprised it smelled really simular to Vanille blanc by khadlaj. Only vanilla and benzoin that is their common Notes. This one is more lighter and fresher. Vanille blanc is more Woody. It is a feminin scent. Much better on skin than paper. The Jasmine I can smell clearly. Nice scent just not for me.

I interpret this as a pretty, floral, formal scent. To me, it would be too much for an office setting. But as I've aged, I've become more sensitive. But now I want to try other interpretations of this though. Definitely happy to have it.

I was looking for a less headachy version of Jubilant Noir Maison Alhambra Not this, this is just mostly sweet, not delicate at all, and I cannot smell it after a few min 4.8/10

This smells like a better higher quality version of lattafa Nebras. My girlfriend loves it and the quality of the presentation is insanely good
