Zenith Tobacco

While I have never been particularly fond of tobacco as a drug—often associating it with its health risks and societal consequences—my outlook has notably shifted since I came across this remarkable tobacco fragrance. After experiencing Zenith Tobacco, crafted by the esteemed perfumery French Avenue, I can confidently say that I have become a fervent admirer of tobacco-infused scents. This exceptional fragrance has truly revolutionized my perception, as it not only boasts impressive longevity and an enticing projection but also emanates a deeply masculine aura that is hard to ignore. Moreover, the intoxicating sillage it leaves behind is nothing short of mesmerizing, enveloping me in its warm and rich aroma. Despite my decision to steer clear of smoking in any form, I find myself embracing the captivating allure of tobacco fragrances, reveling in the olfactory pleasure they provide.

This arrived a day ago and I wore a bit to see if this was a solid Tobacolor alternative... I can say at this point, that this is going to scratch that itch for those who can't afford the original scent. Can't yet speak to the performance, but as far as an affordable alternative, I would recommend picking this up. I plan on putting this and Maison Alhambra Tabac side by side eventually. I don't usually leave any thoughts this early on, but the lack of a listed tobacco note will continue to cause confusion till an owner speaks up. (This has plenty tobacco, like the original)

Such a beautiful and addictive fragrance. Performance is absolutely nuclear — lasts all day and night and still with a strong scent bubble around you. Outperforms Khamara and Asad. But it’s not aggressive or irritating so should be a very versatile fragrance. Maybe dial down the sprays for hotter weather (or not 😀). I would say the notes are pretty accurate — lots of dark chocolate, caramel, patchouli — but there is also a discernible pipe tobacco (not cigar) note which is definitely there. Hence the name...

Just got this one. Very first impression: it opens with a beautiful dark chocolate, transitions to adding a sweet tobacco note and then it starts to get earthy with a distinct realistic honey . All in a very elegant and round way while still being deep and projecting. Uh I love it!! Sexy, delicious and strong. I’m a woman but I think this is totally unisex.

It's a beautiful grown man fragrance! It's like dark choclity and some orange and sweet like the tobacco is not in the notes but you can smell it. Caramel honey beauty! I highly recommend it Edit: After let it seat for longer time becomes more well blended much more smoother and more enjoyable fragrance! Deep rich beautiful manly scent!

عطر مميز جدا، رائحة سيجار واضحة، فيه شبه شوية من Cuban tobacco لابراهيم القرشي لكن بجودة افضل كثيرا ثبات كويس جدا وفوحان متوسط ت ومش شبه اي عطر توباكو عندي، وعلي الرغم من ان النوتات مفيهاش توباكو لكنه فعلا موجود توباكو وعسل

It purports to be a clone of Dior's Tobacolor. Judging on its merits, this is a pretty great hybrid fragrance that combines the tobacco and gourmand DNAs with a touch of the fresh DNA. This is a good blend of soft tobacco, herbal, and gourmand aromas. The standout notes of green tobacco, chocolate, vanilla, honey and fresh patchouli musk. This is really smooth and soft for a tobacco fragrance and quite complex and elegant. Depsite gourmand notes one would normally associate with sweetness, this is actually fairly dry for a fragrance and should appeal to those who dislike sweet fragrances. Younger users and traditional tobacco fragrance lovers may miss that sweet note, though. This is great for male users of all ages, though older ones will likely appreciate it more. It works great in cool weather. This is not unisex IMHO mostly because the pleasant gourmand and fresh patchouli notes do give way to tobacco. Performance is something of a mixed bag, as the longevity is quite nice but is offset by somewhat low projection. This is quite good overall and is a great choice for those looking for either their first tobacco fragrance or want a changeup from their usual one. Recommended.

Zenith tobacco e uma fragrancia muito boa por si so. Seu aroma possui um chocolate e patchouli bem aparentes, o tabaco e fava tonka da um toque mais doce ao perfume, mas sem se tornar muito desafiador, tb e mais resinoso. Possuo o tabac de maison alhambra, e um decant do tobacolor, considerando similaridade e desempenho, este segundo captura toda a essência da fragrancia original, mel mais denso, um toque defumado, ameixa e pessego perceptiveis Comparando diretamente os 2 clones, zenith e um fragrancia menos linear e evolui mais, tb possui um desafio menor, em contrapartida tabac segue muito mais a linha do original, e tem uma performance superior. Em doçura nenhuma delas alcança o original Ambos sao otimos o avenue fixa algo em torno de 10 hrs e projeta de 2 hrs a 2:30 de moderada a forte, ja alhambra e 12 hrs e mais as vezes e projeta 3 hrs so que alta. Outro ponto a notar, e que devido essas diferenças vejo o alhambra um perfume unissex so que mais masculino, o lado doce e maior neste, enquanto zenith e claramente somente masculino, o patchouli e bem presente e o mel bem menos intenso. Ja havia feito a análise do tabac anteriormente e aqui fiz a do zenith também

Nose Note #820 This is a lot like Tabac from Maison Alhambra, but this one is perhaps a bit stronger. Tabac is a bit more hazelnutty. Overall I think Zenith Tobacco is a bit easier to wear, but it's still a rather challanging scent. Strong tobacco note is definately not for everyone. This makes me dizzy, another MUCH stronger tobacco scent French Avenue Opus Magnum gave me a headache twice. My first encounter was with Tabac from MA about a year ago and I thought it was disgusting. Come Zenith Tobacco. I really reevaluated everything. This smells sophisticated, honey-sweet (but not like Naxos), tobacco-nutty (not realistic tobacco anyway), and that's about it, maybe some patchouli too. Definately not a safe blind buy. I don't get how it's masculine. Opus Magnum is 100% masculine. This is unisex, maybe slightly leaning masculine. 7.3/10, not for everybody, niche-like

I have a dupe of Black Phantom, Phantom My Hero, and it's really similar to this one. I got this in November 2025 after looking for MA Tabac for a while (name had already changed to Smoky) and in that time it was hard to find because of the name switching and the so called legal problems they had with Tabac's name and presentation. French Avenue dropped this frag and I decided to buy it based on the many reviews I watched on YouTube. Reviewers were glazing this frag like crazy! I really like Zenith Tobacco, awesome fragrance, but I don't detect that much of tobacco. There's chocolate, honey, patchouli but tobacco is very mild to my nose, if any. I'm still intrigued as to how MA Tabac (not Smoky) smells since it has 3 different notes of tobacco and it's better rated than this one.

I don’t detect any chocolate or honey in this composition. What stands out instead is a dry, ashy tobacco accord layered heavily with patchouli. As it settles, the smokiness softens and gives way to a more earthy patchouli base. This is not a safe blind buy, nor is it particularly beginner‐friendly. The official note breakdown feels somewhat confusing; referencing the original makes more sense. Overall, it’s a well‐crafted fragrance, but one that leans mature, formal, and rather reserved. It carries no youthful energy; instead, it evokes sophistication best suited for black‐tie occasions.

Chocolate honey notes, similar to a dark Toblerone chocolate bar, easy to wear, just got it yesterday, nice drydown, spicy and earthy, reallygood patchouli forward. Longevity and sillage under investigation, pretty weak but hoping that maturing it for couple weeks will bring out the best of it. 7/10 for the moment, will update once the fragrance age for a couple of weeks.

Deep, rich dark chocolate, honey, patchouli, some smokey notes (probably the tolu balsam and the oakmoss combined) and of course, tobacco. It's very rich and quite thick smelling -- it definitely feels high quality but a bit hard to wear as it's not an everyday fragrance -- definitely for special occasions. I definitely don't regret buying a full bottle but I don't see myself wearing this that often, other than in deep winter. The 'Zenith' line from French Avenue has some real quality scents, I have three of them and none have been disappointing me so far.

If you already have Maison Alhambra Tabac buying Zenith Tobacco is not redundant simply because its a much deeper fragrance. Especially with the added chocolate note in the opening. Projects like crazy! I just got this and Iris Patchouli in and sprayed them both in a room on a tester and came back a day later and the room still smelled like Zenith Tobacco. Iris Patchouli was still very present on the tester but the room itself smelled of ZT. Great pick up!

I just bought 15 bottles out of all the dumont sopranos ice, fury, elite, pure, soul, and riffs drift, riffs rise, Vulcan veu, zenith blue, classique blue, from Fragrance world, Hawas Kobra and more this one is mine and wife’s favorite it doesn’t smell like everything else. It’s a nice soft tobacco and with honey, with a dark chocolate mixed in so nice! Everyone at worked liked it as well. If you’re in your 30s and 40’s you will love this.

Very well blended and very powerful fragrance. Not to be abused during summer! The tobacco and the saffron notes are definitely outstanding, but there is also some tonka in the base. It is a good value for the money and an excellent entry point for tobacco beginners. It may remind you of scented candles or scented sticks, for how overpowering the tobacco and the saffron are.

This is confusing...it is listed as an oriental vanilla and the name would imply a note of tobacco in the mix but there is no tobacco or vanilla in the composition...I'm going to try this because the notes are intriguing and hope for the best. I'll be back...

i don't own this...but did they seriously not put tobacco in a fragrance called "zenith TOBACCO"? or is fragrantica just missing the notes?
