French Connection Man/Homme

Quite a nice scent, actually.......given the affordable price point (AUD$20) and a thumbs-up for a blind buy. I can't compare it to the scents mentioned by fellow reviewers, but I'd say it is a daytime scent - light, citrusey fresh and eminently wearable all year long, although I'll be wearing it in Spring/Summer mostly. Definitely youthful, it's better suited to a younger man (or the young at heart). Both sillage and longevity are light to moderate on me, but given the price, it won't break the bank to refresh with a few extra squirts throughout those long dog days of summer. A very pleasing buy.

Well done amber vanilla with a fresh side making it youthful, easy and likable. 4 season friendly, day or night. I can smell the orange blossom and really a touch of violet flower sugar rather than violet leaf, but it's not sickly sweet. It's scrumptious. It has the likability and quality of my favorite Jaguar fragrances. 100ml for under 20 bucks makes it fine for teens or college boys. Or anyone young at heart. It's 2-3x that cost in EU, so as a consumer item becomes less interesting.

I also blind bought this fragrance from Marshalls. $12.99 for a small bottle, so my expectations were adjusted accordingly. But this cologne is actually pretty good for the price! It is a citrus-vanilla type of fragrance that is definitely casual. Lasts pretty long too. I think Bullrider23 basically described this fragrance to a T. Definitely recommended.

Fresher version of Eros with a bit of Chanel AHSE powdery DNA infused in. This is an enjoyable, multi-season fragrance with relatively weak longevity and a youthful, upbeat spirit.

Smells great, wished it lasted longer (2.5hrs max). The bottle is a cool design, but the sprayer seems to suck. Actually removed the cover to get the sprayer to spray at all.

What the hell. I got it as a present and it's surprisingly nice. Its a citrus, grapefruit and violet combo and it smells like it's meant to be a clone of Mont Blanc Emblem to me, though with the sandalwood toned down, so I'm enjoying it quite a bit more than Emblem. Also reminds me of Calvin Klein Man and sort of like Versace Eros with violet added. It's gonna end up being a dumb reach for me this summer, though it is more suited for spring.

Blind bought this at Marshalls today, not bad for 20 bucks! I came home and tested it out, I really like it! I can smell the violet leaves, citrus, and woods for this fragrance. I've been looking for new fragrances for the spring and this one fits the bill. It projects well for 2 hours and leaves a sillage for 6 to 7 hours. P.S. When it dries down it really shines...
