Violette

I'm using an old bottle 19 years after its release, so I can't speak to what it's intended to smell like, but the one I have, straight out of a sealed box, is beautiful. Incredibly light, clean, photorealistic violet/lilac. Not to sweet. Very fresh, and delicate. Sits close to the skin with just a splash on my wrists, but it feels like that's how a scent like this should be worn.

For some reason on my skin, I smell the green parts (well the cypress and patchouli) more then the violet. I love violet, so I am a bit disappointed.

I was once recommended to try this perfume.but I wasn't so eager to test it since as it seemed too simple to deserve buying. finally I got a chance to smell it and I like the pure essence of violet very much.in fact I don't get anything rather than violet mixed with a bit freesia.very warm and compassionate. what I don't like in this perfume and generally all of fresh fragrances is that they are pure essence.they're not perfumes.the bottle reminds me visky bottle without any delication and inside the bottle there's only an essence. maybe that's the point of Fresh perfumes,but if I want to buy a violet perfume,I would rather insolence.(I know,much more expensive,but at least I have something like a perfume on m drawer)
