I have been looking for an ambergris and rose fragrance for many years. I owned eg Guerlains Les Absolus d'Orient Ambre Eternel which has a great ambergris and rose. Unfortunately it has multiple other ingredients like a nauseating peach. As with so many oriental fragrances these so become way too thick/too much for what I like. I owned Sovereign by Le Galion which also is a great scent with amber and rose but more complex with myrrh and oud etc... Finally Alhambra has a gorgeous amber/ambergris and a delicate rose. Simple but as Coco Chanel said “the seeming simplicity of a masterpiece is sure proof of its grace.” Alhambra is not at all like a Chanel but that quote fits the description. Alhambra has this simplicity but is of incredible quality and elegance. Wonderful.

Absolutely exquisite simple scent. There’s only three notes I can detect. Fossilized amber, ambergris and a beautiful delicate rose. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and good longevity. Absolute must try for amber lovers. Truly radiant and heartbreakingly lovely. Enjoy!

I visited Madison Ave boutique today and tried Alhambra. It has nothing short of an oriental masterpiece. An absolute harmony of ambergris and rose. I am totally smittened by the quality of this scent and ability of the perfumer to accomplish this. Hats off to the house of Fueguia.

Smokey, Woody, Dark Rose. Absolutely amazing eastern Oud scent. No Oud listed but the Amber leans that way.
