Ambar de los Andes

Super interesting aquatic woody floral scent. The scent opens with notes of jasmine grandiflorum moving to a heart of sandalwood and oud and then settles on ozonic and ambroxan like notes. The scent is supposed to evoke the transparent and aquatic side of a primitive wood found in a secret cave of Andes. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and very good longevity. An interesting ride from its floral woody opening to its watery settling. Enjoy!

Mhmm .. nice opening. For a moment it reminded me of the 90s, with Kenzo puor homme and maybe ... Havana by Aramis? ¿? ... Or maybe just Aramis ... It is a pleasant woody fragrance, dense but luminous, a fecal thread the first half hour, with good agarwood and a beautiful deep and carnal jasmine. Here, the sandalwood is not sweet or creamy but bitter, pleasant and natural. It looks like this straight to the end. Quite simple, full-bodied and raw. More masculine, bitter and sour at the beginning, it improves over time becoming spicier and unisex at the bottom. Lean, pleasant composition with natural ingredients. OK,OK.

This one has the usual Fueguia base (oily/salty/steamy/aged wooden barrel) buried deep under some nice, transparent ambergris+botanical elements (immortelle?) + soft resins (elemi?). It reminds me of a much tamer version of Ambre Supreme by Les Indemodables, mixed in with a light, nutty, woody amber, like the one from Megalium by Carner Barcelona. Unfortunately, the more I smell it upclose, the less I'm enjoying the overall oily base + saltyness combo so, it's a pass from me. But I can see the average person finding it nice ig. Edit: the deep deep drydown is basically a saline bomb, paired with that salty, aquatic musk they like using. Reminds me of Laboratorio Olfactivo's Salina. I quite dislike it now.
