Ceniza De Coca

The Ceniza De Coca Fueguia 1833 starts off with smoked prunes, heated black metal smeared with machine oil, decayed charcoal and creosote. Something cooling like a eucalyptus leaf or a drop of menthol smells on background. Beastly smell presents too - like horses or cows have slept on overgrown grass, leaving their footprints and experiments here. It smells like a place that has been fumigated with Palo Santo wood chips. Scent gives off a sense of a fusion of the industrial factory, industrial with the natural historical, iconic and ritualistic. The industrial sound shifts to the sacred. An unusual journey as if between dream and reality. For me it is more of a scent than a perfume. To wear it in public, you need to have a certain courage, which does not depend on gender. It's very unusual what makes it perfume so interesting. It is unlikely to leave you indifferent. Oh my is this a beauty... Easily the best, and most challenging offering from the brand. Opens with something in the lane of green (camphoric even) medicinal piss on a dense black leather. The leather slowly dissolves into thick styrax, which absorbs some of the pissy elements, and gives way to the green coca leafs. The rest of the fragrance is a balance between dense, bittersweet greens, and veeeeery smoky resins with an animalistic undertone. I have heard multiple times, that it does evoke the feeling of snorting coke. Never tried it myself, so I can't really confirm, but hearing it from multiple people lets me to believe that that is the case (my dad had a little adventure with benzo in the past and had a gag reflex when I showed him this fragrance).

Hauntingly beautiful and unique natural scent showcasing the sacred coca plant native to regions of South America. The name of the scent translates to coca ash which refers to a traditional extraction process of the plant roasting it with wood (in this case palo santo) to create a powdery extract that is used as medicine and a stimulant. In this case this beautiful herbal coca is surrounded with styrax resin and dense ambergris. The slight masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and excellent longevity. Wearing this is like being a part of some traditional Amazonian tribal ceremony. Not for all but just breathtaking natural perfumery. Enjoy!

As usual Fueguia is not showing complete notes .. in their site they mentioned Oud ..its not added here ? any way, I loved it. Its Very unique. Its very woody, animalic and I feel there is hint of eucalyptus or maybe its a coca ..not sure coz never smell coca before. I bought it and bought the oil of it. Its really worm cozy very suitable for cold winters.

Smoky and sweet mixed with a strong minty herbal (patchouli-esque in a way) smell that is not my favourite. It dries down to a softer and warmer scent but the opening is so imposing that wouldn't even consider wearing it.
