El Dorado

Wow.. immediately! Greenish, dense yellow citrus with something sticky bright, also yellow, resin. Underlined with that wonderful Fueguia natural musk. Gorgeous, radiant, elegant. Fun, springtime, smiles, liveliness. For a moment I recognized the orginal Givenchy Insense but soon I kept recalling a scent that I also knew so well from the eighties.. definitely Giorgio Beverly Hills. El Dorado has definitely the same kind of vibe but El Dorado is more natural. It has not the synthetics that Giorgio has. An amazing scent but I am not sure if I can wear it as a man. Perhaps if it stayed a bit more in that Insense zone.. Still a great fragrance and I am not ready to give it away yet. Indeed, spring day time wear and to come back to the Wow.. it has indeed that Wow factor. All Fueguia 1833 work I like but this is in my top three of the many I have or sampled from this house. I have the II-XXII batch which says that the three notes are Mandarin-Copaiba-Musk. (Not that what is mentioned by Fragrantica here although I would easily believe that there is some Magnolia also in this batch but Grapefruit not so much).

Surprised to see no reviews yet for this phenomenal fragrance! The full line from Fueguia is totally overwhelming, as anyone who's been to one of their retail locations can tell you. Somehow among the hundreds of available fragrances, I stumbled upon this one. At first it's a pleasant citrus, well balanced and refined without having even a trace of lemon Dawn. But there's something under the surface. After wearing it for a while I figured it out-- raunch. Not sure what the specific note or aroma chemical is but there is something about this fragrance that is just sexy, dirty, animalic, lust in a bottle. It smells like my boyfriend after a workout-- trust me that's a good thing. The combination of this note with the citrus is genius, just what an otherwise innocent fragrance needs to bring it into a completely different category. I love it.

It is a very unique fragrance that has never been smelled anywhere else. Soft mellow scent of magnolia is mixed with fresh bittersweet citrus, giving the fragrance a jelly-like texture. This is the first time I have ever had this sensation with a fragrance. It is not a heavy fragrance, but it may seem a little sweet and stuffy to wear on a gloomy day. It is best worn on a low-humidity day, when it becomes a sparkling, clear scent. It is a fresh daytime fragrance that wakes you up, so if you wear it at night, you will have trouble falling asleep.

This is the top of the top which you can experiance. A unique scent which you never smell elsewhere. Tried in the Fueguia boutique, I had all the day an unexplained wonderfIul feeling. It is a drop of harmony between neroli, mandarin, musk and probably something else which I never experienced elsewhere and it’s probably secret. The price is very high, as it for all Fueguia. It’s on my wishlist and I hope that I will own one day.

Elegante, rico, porém nada complexo. Discreto. Abre com a grapefruit, algo entre azedo e amargo, não percebo um cítrico fresco aqui, me lembra algo de óleo essencial, ou resina. Tenho também a impressão de um ambiente fechado, um apartamento antigo no centro de Buenos Aires. Se tivesse uma idade ideal para o uso, seria para uma pessoa +35. Não é charmoso, é de uma "personalidade" específica. Com certeza muito bom no outono.

Fantastic natural summer citric green scent. The scent opens with aromatic bursts of mandarin orange and grapefruit. The heart is magnolia and neroli flower. The perfume settles on a base of plant derived musk and copaiba balm. The unisex scent has moderate to strong projection and very good longevity. Like walking in a citrus grove. Enjoy!

will never get tired of praising Bedel's talent. texture-wise Fueguia's compositions is unlike anything I have smelled. its a juicy, bright, clean, slightly bitter grapefruit with a musky floral base. theres no distinct magnolia, but something flowery to balance the citruses. overall, a very uplifting, energetic yet chic smell. feels extremely natural, reminds me of orange tree fields in the Mediterranean in summer
