Reviewing a bottle purchased new in 2018. Equation was launched in 2014. In 2018 while on a visit to Buenos Aires, I stumbled into a small dim mysterious perfume boutique. The walls were black and draped with dark curtains. In the centre of the room there was a large wooden table, dramatically lit and laden with glass bottles like an altar. Each perfume bottle was covered with a glass flask or "Monclin" which allowed us to smell the perfume without spraying. Three fragrances caught my attention, Equation, Juan Manuel and Biblioteca de Babel. Equation is a deep and mysterious scent. It opens with leathery smoke then morphs to charcoal and hot metal finally mellowing into dry aromatic woods.There is something slightly animalic in the dry down. I do not sense the ozonic notes but they may be what makes this so unusually airy, bright and balanced considering the smoke and woody notes. This fragrance makes me think of a meteorite burning through the earths atmosphere and then vaporizing over a birch forest. Performance is very good. 5/5 Quality is exceptional. 5/5 Unisex leaning slightly masculine. Very unique and gorgeous fragrance deserving of masterpiece status. 10/10

Darkness with minerals and stone. I get the space vibe with this one. This is so unique. I have the oil version, and it lasts forever with moderate to intimate projection. I think this one has a tinge of wateriness and sweet woodiness that balance the “burn”. Another post apocalyptic vibe frag. This is an addictive synthetic.

Absolutely a piece of art. The charcoal is realistic, can't smell any aquatic/ozonic note... By the way, there is an obvious vetiver in the base. Or is a there Iso E Super.?? Glad to have this historic creation. Amazing longevity, the perfect sillage.10/10. Called to be a legend, remember.

A unique postmodernist incense scent influenced by engineering and technology. The perfume opens with notes of smoky purified carbon and slight metallic notes. The heart is a firm olibanum. The perfume settles on a base of birch wood and ozonic notes. The masculine leaning scent has moderate to strong projection and very good longevity. Strange but addictive and unique, although only intended for adventurous perfume lovers. Enjoy!

Orgasmic, rich, dark, smokey opening with a mineral nuance. Dries down within 2 hours into something that smells very similar to the drydown of Hermann a mes cotes by ELDO. It's a bit disappointing because it has a kind of radiant, synthetic metal tang I don't often associate with Fueguia. I was hoping the drydown would be a bit more earthy and complex.

I disagree with previews comments. i ddo smell smoke, but it's not a dominant note. The dominant note is hot metal. Birch is also a very interesting note in the chord. To be more precise, i'd say it's not smoke, but burn wood, hot metal an some aquatic notes to it. i'm not sure if its a scent i'd use for every ocasion, but i definitely like it
