Komorebi

Got a tester from the Fueguia NYC boutique and I have to say the fragrance is very soothing yet short-lived. Opening consists a fuzzy, aquatic, clean sweetness. It is a very light and watery scent, and it’s simple enough to wear casually. As it dries down, musk starts to emerge from the sweetness and combines with the cherry blossom. The scent is certainly unique in the aquatic and musky segment, but doesn’t seem to warrant its price given its simple characteristic.

Interesting spare floral musk which is supposed to represent the Japanese concept of sunlight as it filters through the trees. The perfume opens with musky and ozonic notes leading to a firm natural cherry blossom heart and settling on an ambery base. Like most scents of this line, a linear unisex scent with moderate sillage and good longevity. Simple but comforting, delicate, unique and memorable. Enjoy!

Pleasant ozonic and sweet opening of cherry blossom accompanied for a long time by musky and again... amber notes. After 20 minutes, boredom.

I loved the top notes on this, but it dried down to a putrid green smell that wouldn't go away. I tried it on my arm in store. I then put a jacket on. I washed the jacket, and my sleeve still reeked of the perfume when I held it up to my nose and breathed in. Some of my favorites are from Fueguia, so I don't think this one is reflective of the brand. If you like the scent, be happy it lasts forever. It's more spring or summery than a cold season scent. This scent is started floral but turned woodsy on me.
