La Joven Noche

I am currently enjoying my second 30ml bottle of La Joven Noche (LJN) in extrait. I also have a fb of the 100ml edp, which does not have the "oomph" of the extrait, but is quite good, nonetheless. This is a rich soft sandalwood that seems to last forever. If I apply in the morning, the scent lasts all day and into the evening. No need to reapply before an impromptu dinner meeting off site. LJN peaks for me at about 6-8 hours. While I generally prefer dense animalic beasts such as LM Hard Leather, I get more compliments with this linear perfume than any other. It's perfect for both day and night. 9/10 fragrance 9/10 longevity 6/10 sillage This is a unique and compelling offering from a somewhat repetitive house. Highly recommended for both men and women.

Fueguia has created this delicious fragrance with three kinds of sandalwood. While it is fairly linear, persistence and sillage are remarkable. An awsome scent.

A soft lovely scent centered around a nice Australian sandalwood. There is not much else here except faint hints of coconut and fig. This is a linear sandalwood all the way from start to finish. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and longevity. Delicate and haunting. Enjoy!

Fairly deceptive note structure in this one. Absolutely spicatum based, so you'll really need to enjoy australian sandalwood to like this, and plenty of quite green fig notes and light undertones of coconut. This wasn't a pleasant experience for me but if you like those notes you might enjoy it.

I got a random sample vial of this. I think it would be better if I would enjoy sandalwood. I appreciate that it’s a really warm spicy sandalwood, really beautiful piece if you like this note. Unfortunately I don’t like wooden notes.

Sadly reformulated. Like ruining a jewel, very representative of the firm in a couple of years ... It does not have a quarter of the strength or aroma that it had several years ago. The same happened to me with Zonda, El otro tigre, etc. I understand that variations happen since they are natural elements, however they cannot impact so much on the final result. I recommend buying the samples before purchasing the bottle as it is not what it used to be.

this is quite a signature fueguia scent. a note. an accord. I can smell this in a few of their other scents... it's quite a sweet woody, sandalwoody scent, and as others below/above me have mentioned, a little linear. it isn't knocking my socks off, truth be told, though it is quite pleasant. not something I would consider buying, but I do like it, I must say...
