Fugazzi Parfum 4 Workaholic

Sampling Fugazzi Workaholic, my first try of this house but a fragrance that clearly stuck out to me in a positive way when I smelled it in anticipation of the line being brought to Perfumology, which now carries the house. It smells of coffee, rose, nutmeg, amber, tonka, and sandalwood, giving off almost a maple vibe to me. It’s fittingly sweet and spicy with the rose providing just the right amount of modification to not make it completely gourmand and add a bit of sophistication (lavender achieves this in Bond No. 9 New Haarlem quite effectively, as one comp). It’s cozy, classy, rich, and fairly smooth, without any part standing out too bitingly / distractively. Overall, an easy winner for me, a fan of gourmands (coffee especially) and rose. Workaholic is extrait concentration and priced at about $245/160 for 100/50ml, sold via the house site and great boutiques like Perfumology, and performs quite well, a reasonable value for niche perfumery in the current market. 8 out of 10

From the moment I first smelled this scent, I fell head over heels for it 🥰❤️ It's reminiscent of Tom Ford's Lost Cherry but lasts well over 3 hours on me. I'm convinced there's a hint of coffee in there, perhaps more like coffee liqueur blended with honey, and I also sense a touch of cherries. I even said that to the sales man in Liberty and he was saying maybe I feel cherries like in jar or jam, could be.. Wearing it feels like being in heaven, especially with the flood of compliments I received today about how good I smell. Plus, if you mix it with Lovely Cherie, it stays even longer! Highly recommend to try if you are perfumes freak like me 😆

This projects an 'urban' vibe so I appreciate wearing it while working from home. i blind bought the bottle based on the notes (coffee, rose/floral, vanilla, musk, amber) and have no regrets (i do love unisex scents that lean more feminine). I do have a strong work ethic, so although the title of this fragrance left me somewhat apprehensive to live up to it's meaning, it's perfect. That roasted coffee note is addicting. This is one of my signatures in my collection and until i get the budget for it, I'll purchase another bottle.

I gave a sample to my partner, he wore it today and I'm sniffing wildly as it's intoxicating. The coffee opening note is strong and dark, just how we drink our morning brew. The dry down on him is just so incredible, spicy, oily wood and resinous amber. I think it's my all time favorite on his skin, yummy. On my skin the rose comes through quickly, wrapped in sticky amber, it feels old ( in a great way) and mysterious. This one is full bottle worthy in our house. We love it.

Workaholic is a gourmant scent to me, the one I chose of the discovery set I got. I was torn between this and Goudh, Angel Dust was a good one too but I mostly liked its dry down. Workaholic smells like soft coffee with vanilla and rose that dries down to more of a musky and less gourmant than in the opening. I don’t really get much of rose but I see it lurking in the background. I tend to layer it with woody scents.

Lovers of coffee, try this on! I can't stand Intense Cafe but Workaholic is another story. Coffee is intense here and while florals are still present and playfully dance around, they never ever shade the main character: the rich, dense, freshly brewed mildly sweetened coffee bean. Outstanding lasting power (it is extrait concentration after all) and great sillage. So much yes!

Similar to intense cafe montale but more about sharp burnt coffee (in a good way). I’d say this one is more unisex and is less floral, more gourmand with salty notes. If you like coffee fragrances, definitely give it a try! Longevity and projection are great as well.

Lovely floral coffee fragrance for daily wear. Feels like a thick scent. I don't feel like the name fits the fragrance though even though I wear this fragrance to work.

I mostly smell sweet nutmeg. The scent is dark, cosy and enveloping. It is very unique to me and I grew to love it.

I can't get over this scent it's AMAZING! Don't overspray though as this stuff is extremely strong

A fragrance completely centered on the note of coffee, a warm and enveloping high quality roasted coffee. Although the olfactory pyramid shown on fragrantica can make it approach the two famous Montale Intense Cafè and Ristretto intense cafes, I in the Fugazzi do not feel that super sweet and sensual note that we find in the Montale, probably the rose / vanilla. In Workhaholic we essentially have a totally coffee fragrance where the other notes are background and very distant, characteristics that do not necessarily have to be seen in negative as for lovers of the genre, this perfume could be inevitable. Curious, good quality as I don't feel too much chemistry and the scent of coffee is undoubtedly very realistic

This has a glorious, accessible, fairly loud coffee opening, but it is beautifully rounded. On me, it dries down really very nicely for a good long while, but eventually .. about 6 hours in.. a dirty slightly acrid back note came through. In all fairness, I know I don't do brilliantly with cashmeran or some modern wood types, so it is probably just one of those tucked in there. Sadly, and purely because of that, for me it is a pass. Definitely worth a sample though because I KNOW that back note is down to my skin chemistry.

Strong and unique fragrance. Very well crafted but definitely not a safe blind buy. The stars of the show are the toasted dark coffee beans for sure, but I also get a lot of spices that don’t seem to be in the notes. Like clove, nutmeg and dark chocolate that melt into something resembling a thick, dark syrup... warm but also slightly acidic. Very interesting. Strong projection and reasonable longevity, around 5-6h on my skin.

I smell brown sugar in this so strongly that I'm surprised there's no brown sugar note. coffee, brown sugar, a little bit of maple syrup maybe..... reminds me of the bougie coffee shop in my area that sells a brown sugar & maple latte. I like it

It's a nice scent, but not quite nice enough to make me want to spend my money on it. I wouldn't mind receiving it as a gift, but I wouldn't buy it myself, as I believe there are many more intricate and interesting fragrances out there.

On my skin read as a gingery / peppery office ready scent. I see that's not in the notes at all, so I was surprised. Very loud opening as others have said.

On my skin this is like Joop le Bain mixed with Milk+ but lighter than both. Really lovely cozy scent.

A very unique winter fragrance. This smell is so addicting but I would say it is very strong !

On my skin I get dark roasted coffee beans with rose & orange blossom... it's a nice one!

the notes list is incomplete: coffee, bulgarian rose, nutmeg muguet, gourmand, white musk, amber, Australian sandalwood, tonka bean. very boozy coffee scent with some odd fruity element in the back. espresso martini? smells a bit bitter like real coffee or very dark chocolate. alright coffee scent, not very sweet. not for me though. slightly reminiscent of khamrah qawha, but more mature and less cloying

I received this as a free sample, but it's just too much coffee for me! Unfortunately, I’m not a coffee person, and this smells like rich, toasted black coffee. If that's your thing, you'll probably love it—nice sillage and projection. It could work well as an office scent if applied lightly, as the fragrance is quite strong. However, since I’m not into coffee, this one’s a pass for me.

The opening is so promising, the coffee note is perfect. Dark, roasty, creamy and not obnoxiously sweet, but the drydown completely kills it for me. It reveals a bit of rose, which is nice, but it just turns into a flat nothingburger, and it does that in under an hour. What a shame.

So disappointed with this one. Sticky, burnt sugar and coffee with loads of oil. Doesn't last long and it reminds me of Lush perfumes . Nothing special and a must try first before you buy it.

Both simple and interesting. Coffee, burnt rubber, a little sweetness and some rose. But only for about 20-30 minutes. Then it’s just a quiet dusty dull rose.

Coffee with alcohol (espresso martini?) Quite strong, liqoeur, syrup, fruity, and some flowers at the end.

It smells powdery and cheap, doesn't last, a big no for me

Flowers, predominantly roses, and coffee mix into a vile, offensive, olfactory mistake. None of the notes play well with each other, instead they fight for dominance, loudly, on top of Fugazzi's classic, grating synthetic amber base. This smells like a drunk person passed out in a rose bush, pissed themselves sometime during the night, then in the morning stumbled into a coffee shop to demand a 25 shot of the cheapest espresso. And to add terrible insult to horrendous injury, much like a hungover person running on nothing but espresso, this is gone within four work hours with nary a note goodbye. I miss the person I was before I smelled this.

After a while of having the samples and trying a lot more niche fragrances since, i have changed my mind about this house quite a bit. Because even with a lot more expensive samples, this always seemed more fun and ultimately got worn more then the more expensive stuff. The concentration is also quite high so all of the fragrances last a good amount and most of the times, a great amount. All of the fragrances are at least good. Though there isn't really a superstar in my eyes. I really liked Sugardaddy and Goudh though. Workaholic is a good one and a little different though draws obvious comparisons to Intense Cafe. Workaholic seems a little more searupy sweet though.

A hymn to frenzy. With Workaholic I imagine myself running through the streets of a metropolis, filled with rose perfume, while hastily drinking a coffee that spills on my clean dress. A soft, sweet coffee, mitigated by flowers, pleasant. Invigorating and elegant at the same time. I agree with two opinions: I also feel a hint of liquorice and I associate some accents of this scent with some Montale ones, in particular Intense Cafe. It's not my genre, I find it a bit too inflated, but it's certainly very good.

Someone said this smelled like Joop! Bain and I agree. The opening is unpleasant and reminds me of how my blouse smelled the entire day when I spilled espresso on it. It’s such a rough fragrance, no blend whatsoever. It’s like you get all the notes in your face one after another. I got a 10ml decant and one spray of it is enough to never give this one a chance ever again.

I'm not even a coffee drinker but this smells so addictive. Coffee liqueur with jammy sweet rose syrup and maybe a touch of spice. If the Coffee note was too dominant I wouldn't have liked it so much but here it gives burnt roasted depth to the floral. Quite sexy actually. Like a darker Mancera Roses Vanille

Agree with the reviewer below me — this does resemble Intense Cafe, but with more coffee. I get a little earthiness and I smell the florals quite strongly too. Don’t know how I feel about this one yet.

Not one of my favourites from Fugazzi. It reminds me a bit of port wine. It resembles intense cafe a bit but both the coffee and florals come out stronger to my nose. I enjoy intense cafe more.

smells like you just burnt coffee on the stove and you’re trying to clean it off with a citrusy cleaning product. then it moves onto a teenager covering his bo with axe. awful

Synthetic chemical garbage products. Every single sample from this house had a weird animalic rotten raw chicken note in the base. I will skip this house entirely.

Tried it in the store today and have to say it’s very strong to a point it can cause headaches but still enjoyable. The floral notes in the dry down is nice too

Tried this today, loved the intense coffee smell, however it did not last long at all, it was gone within 4 hours, so be prepared to respray.

When the coffee calms down it's actually quite nice and warm and sweet and fuzzy.
