I have seen a lot of people who are not usually that into fragrances get really turned off by this (especially the opening), but I must say that Hema & Fugazzi really cooked here. I do think the HDP reference is a little dated, but that is probably because this fragrance has been in development for a long time. In the opening you are blasted with pear, kind of how a pear note would hit in a sweet champagne or a 'Festini pear'. I can see how this can be offputting, but I do really like it. It is really really really high quality for the price. The pear from the opening slowly fades into the background and makes place for a rather elegant drydown. The drydown is a invigorating sandalwood skinscent, which is really popular as of right now (at least in the urban area's of the Netherlands). For 30,- this is super nice!

I was hesitant given the mixed reviews online, but it’s a limited edition (affordable!) collab between two iconic Dutch brands. It opens with a fresh and sweet pear scent, that quickly fades into a more mature, spicy woody base. I prefer the dry down over the top notes. It’s totally unisex, I think it could work (if not better) on men. Longevity is good, 4-5 hours after spraying l can still smell it.

Fruity fizzie opening, i can relate the comparrison with Captain fruit from BiBi, BiBi is sweeter than Hema. The dry down is 98% MiuMiu by MiuMiu (Akigalawood). Today is 26 Celcius in The Netherlands, perfect weather for some fruity woody goodness on me. I love Sugadaddy too. I bought 2 of these cute 30ml bottles. No regret.

Someone said its like fruit captain by bibi and I can totally smell that but it's definitely citrus leaning

I bought this one because of the hype. Plain and simple. I heard about Fugazzi but I haven’t had any experiences with it, and because I saw that it was sold out online very quickly, and also in most stores in the Netherlands, I saw that it was still available in my nearest Hema (where I live in Belgium) and I bought it out of FOMO. Even though the notes appealed to me, I probably would have anyway because it seems like such a unique collaboration, and a very affordable price to have a Fugazzi. Am I disappointed? Not really. Am I blown away? No. It opens with a juicy pear, with woody and slightly spicy touches. Bright. Perhaps a bit juvenile, maybe? Longevity is not great. It’s also very synthetic to my nose, and believe me, I’m not a snob – I have lots and lots of Zara fragrances. When I put my nose to my skin, ten minutes after spraying it, I almost get something that smells like a condom... Synthetic, rubbery with some powder. Not offputting or anything, just really synthetic. In my opinion, definitely not better than most Zara Jo Malone colabs, like another gentleman here wrote. I’m not mad about it, but I’m not blown away by it either. My collector’s heart is glad to have it, but it doesn’t make my heart beat faster. I also hope it’s not representative for the regular Fugazzi’s quality, because it wouldn’t be worth the prices they usually charge.

First of all, I am sorry for everyone living outside the Netherlands, because this fragrance is beautiful! It opens up with bright, juicy pears that smell exactly like a Dutch dessert called “gestoofde peren” (stewed pears). Then, after a couple of minutes, the spices come up. I think this is the point where people assume this is more of a masculine scent. The saffron and nutmeg are really noticeable. Then the beautiful woody base comes through. It smells exactly like Blue Talisman with pear on top and added spices. Perfect for summer. Only costs 30 euros, and it has a lovely bottle and magnetic cap. It also lasts at least 6 hours on my skin, with 3 hours of strong projection. Would give it an 8/10!

I was very optimistic BUT this one really feels like cheap fragrance and it is cheap. Very simple. Mainly bergamot (very synthetic in first hour or two) with rose. Pear is not existing here. I dont even understand where people sense pear here. It even smells little bit more like apple than pear. 3 of my friends tested it and no one said pear. Two said that smells a bit like apple after few hours. Maybe little bit sweetness of it. After an hour or two it starts to smell good. Not great but it is good for the price. Was waiting for something more from brand like Fugazzi

Blind bought this at HEMA today. A green pear scent with a woody base. Definately more niche leaning. Very unisex. Can be worn all year round because of the woody base, but maybe less fitting for winter. Wouldn't have gotten this if it wasn't for the limited collab, but fun to add to my collection anyway.

Very likeable scent unisex, bright Pear juicy what goes in to a sweet woody scent.. 7.5/10 nice for a present or if you are a collector of the brand. Nice meeting with a niche house from the Netherlands.

A Lovely fragrance that smells like Kayali eden plush pear but with no Gardenia and less sweet & more on the unisexside, decent longevity and projection. Proce range is very good 30 euros for 30 ml.

I really like this collab. A simple yet pleasant perfume that can be worn always by everyone and yet be unique enough. If anyone interested im selling some on Vinted. Price negotiable.

Initial spray is quite synthetic and bitter. Will have to see what the drydown does.

I got my hands on this today and it's a bit much for me. It is very strong and woody on my skin and I can smell it 4 hours after application. I get a little of the pear but not much sweetness. Just the generic Fugazzi woody DNA. I was determined to like this scent too. But I am going to jump on the bandwagon and say that this is not how I envision HEMA. I would have thought that a red bottle with a gourmand scent would have been a better fit. That being said, the bottle is gorgeous and I don't feel (too) guilty about the blind buy given the price. I also enjoyed hunting for it at the various HEMA stores in my area until I finally got a sales associate to hand one over. That was fun. I'll probably admire the beautiful bottle for a few months and then realize I need to destash again.

Hema x Fugazzi is described as a woody spicy fragrance, but on my skin, it leans more feminine and floral than I expected. The opening has a soft mix of pear, rose, and a hint of bergamot. The floral notes stay strong as the scent develops, with saffron and nutmeg adding a gentle layer of spice. In the dry down, sandalwood brings some depth, but the overall feel remains light and floral. For me, it’s a bit too feminine and flowery for regular wear, though I can see its appeal for someone looking for a soft, modern floral scent with a bit of warmth underneath. This is not blind buy safe. Everyone's nose / skin is different. Your experience may differ.

At initial spray the opening is quite harsh and synthetic, when it settles down a good pear comes through with a blast (synthetic) soapy rose. after about half an hour to an hour the pear leaves, leaving behind a more masculine woody scent, which is quite good. the soapy rose is quite offputting to me, but luckily it fades quite quick. the dry down if pleasant but not special

Don t like this , smelled this Hema colab. from a tester today, don t like it at all, why not a colab with Nasomatto called 'smoked worst' , or Francesca Bianchi 'Ambre Takkie' .... its such a uncreative dull parfum, and that for such a creative House. ....and with that I mean Hema offcource, just a shame Hema, you can do much better!

Of course I had to buy this, it doesn’t get more Dutch than this. For me, HEMA is no-nonsense, practical and very affordable. I was hoping that the best of that would pop up in this perfume, but no. The bottle is gorgeous and feels very expensive but green fading into orange: nothing to do with HEMA. And then the juice itself : why HEMA, would you pick THIS particular profile of out of ALL that this house could offer you? It would have been so much more on brand to pick a gourand, with the stroopwafels and tompouche they are known for. Even a nice floral forward orange blossom I would have understood. This is beast mode pear, but in the worst way. The way I also really dislike Be Delicious. So artificial, like getting soap in your mouth. And the saffron, Akigala and sandalwood make it very masculine, in a sadly familiar way. I sniffed it side by side with Allure and it’s like a very badly done, pear-heavy dupe of that. So this is definitely not for me and I also would not want to smell it on a man. Performance: I wanted to wash it off and ironically/annoyingly, after 3 attempts, it’s still there. You have been warned.

Ignoring all the negative reviews on this and experiencing it for what it is. Very nice fresh shampoo-like opening with pear being the front runner. The rose peeks through, giving the scent a feminine touch, but it dissapears in about 30-45 mins. The saffron gives it a very rich smell before it then settles into a slightly spicy woody base with akigalawood playing the dominant role, which smells very modern and smooth. It's not overly sweet like some of the other Fugazzi offerings. It could actually be added to their signature lineup without feeling left behind. For €30 , I think it's a great addition for people who wants to own a niche fragrance for a great price.

Okay, got my hands on a bottle this morning at my local HEMA. It’s woody & sweet, kind of like Layer+ Woody straight after a shower with fruity shampoo. Will report back after wearing it a bit longer. UPDATE: end of day I can still really smell it on myself so longevity is good. The initial sweetness fades and the akigala wood remains. It really is a slightly softer & sweeter version of Layer+ Woody. Is it groundbreaking? No, but for this price point (€30 for 30ml) I wasn’t expecting that. It is a nice addition to my collection and I will wear it just because it is good quality and just a bit of fun.
