Pomegranoudh

On first sniff, I wasn't sure I would like this. I have never really been a fan of fruity scents before, but I decided to give this a try as I have seen some favorable stuff on Reddit and the forums on here about it as well. My first introduction to fruity ouds was Azzure Oud by French Avenue, a clone brand, and it was absolute garbage, so I was hesitant to try another one, but wow, I am very glad I did. Pomegranate has not really been my thing either in the past, but this is spectacular. The pomegranate smells like a dark and rich fruit brimming with gothic power; it evokes the colors of red and black to me with a mysterious aura. The oud accompanies the mysterious fruity scent as well, creating almost a vibe of an old wooden estate speckled with the sweet blood of a vampire's last meal. I would consider this perfume a wonderful piece of art, one that transports you to a place and time of which you have not visited before, like a good work of art should.

I rate this as one of their best sellers. If you want a deep, fruity offering, this is it. The oud here is not overpowering; it lurks in the shadows while the fruit offers light. It's an oud that sways away from the conventional Middle Eastern style, with its own modern twist, a wearable oud, one that makes me excited for the ladies to try. Its dry-down carries a sophisticated velvety decadence, and there's luxurious warmth from the vanilla-amber blend. If Passionfroudh was the Yin(bright froudie), Pomegranoudh is the yang (sensuality behind the shadows).

Fell in love with Passionfroudh and been using it constantly... even though I have +/- 100 frags. So wanted something in the same line to just switch it up a little and went to test this one. Well instantly bought it 😅. Not directly comparable but in the same direction. Opens as a smoky cherry to my overall perception, and later in the drydown a more sweet wine. But really standoud and different. Love the direction fugazzi took and hope they keep far away from the boring minimalistic scents they started with, just my take

Finally some good fucking food from this house... Tart pomegranate juice on the opening turning to a sweet high quality oud. Makes me so satisfied because oud is so complex it’s an entire fragrance in itself on its own. The oud here has all the complexity you need: earthy, sweet, damp, resinous, musky. Adding a similarly complex fruit note is just genius, simply beautiful. Projected loudly for 7 hours and now is a lingering fruity vanilla skin-scent. So far orange crush and pomegranoudh are my favorite from fugazzi.

GORGEOUS. opens a tad plasticky but develops into a rich, deep and warm tropical oudh. might have to pull the trigger on a full bottle going off of the sample, and i'm not usually a fan of oudhs either, longevity is ludicrous as well, projects for a good couple hours too, 9/10 (opening dampens things ever so slightly). FAB!

I just received my sample and this is a beast mode fragrance. A slightly burnt almost cherry oud, I will definitely be getting a full bottle when it’s released. Also lol at previous commenters saying they’ve got the full bottle already. Either you work at the brand or you’re straight up lying.

Bro this is one of the best fragrances, i have smelled this year. Its a very light oud with Pomegranate, and a bit jammy fruits in the background, but overall really really REALLY good. i can imagine a person in a hotel 5 start hotel in egypt or other warm countries 10/10

I have to add something, I'm simply thrilled with this fragrance. I didn't know Fugazzi before, I was in the store yesterday and I'm really positively surprised. Angel Dust is incredibly beautiful, as is the Extrait, then Orange Crush and Vanilla Haze. Great work!!!!!

I got a “free” sample today (had to pay $9 for shipping). First spray ...wow. This is exactly the type scent I love. Very, very fruity at the beginning. I do get the oud as well. It is different than basically anything I’ve tried in a long time!

ooof fresh but sweet pomgeranate on top of oud. its not jam-like, too sweet, i dont find the oud here oily or heavy per say. oud maracuja type of composition but switch the maracuja with pomegranate and more sweetness from red fruits.

Your typical western oud and ambiguous fruity fragrance with a large dose of sweetness. Nothing special in my opinion, but not really bad either. If you have fragrances like oud maracuja, I would say this is redundant.

I have tried this in creme le de creme, if you love oud maracuja, or oud fragrance, there is no chance of hating this perfume, tried just a spray from the tester, still smell the same after settling.

Truly a masterpiece in a bottle. Fruits, oud, vanilla and musk coming together to make magic. Anyone who disagrees should forfeit their sense of smell. 10/10

To start off with, I want to make it very clear that Pomegranoud Extrait de Parfum IS good. Like genuinely good. High quality, expertly blended and clearly made by people who know exactly what they are doing. However... I think this fragrance has finally solidified the fact that I just do not like oud 😂 I picked up the free sample during Fugazzi’s promotion where you only paid postage, mostly out of curiosity because I had always wanted to try something from the brand. And honestly, I can absolutely see oud lovers having an amazing time with this. It feels like a perfect autumn or winter evening fragrance. Fruity and juicy up top, dark woody depth underneath, smooth, rich and very refined. You can tell this is quality stuff immediately. The problem is simply that my nose and oud seem to have a deeply personal disagreement. If this fragrance had sandalwood, chestnut, vanilla or tonka bean at its core instead of oud, I would probably love it. But there is just something about oud that smells slightly “off” to me, and that is entirely a personal taste issue rather than a criticism of the fragrance itself. Which honestly makes this even more frustrating, because this stuff is excellent. Potentially even perfect for the people it is aimed at, and I STILL cannot fully enjoy it 😅 So at this point I think I just need to accept reality. If a fragrance this well made cannot convert me into an oud lover, then nothing probably will. Maybe I am just not built for the oud life 🤷🏼 *Side note, if you picked up the sample as well, and you're in the same anti Oud boat as me, I would recommend Stronger with you powerfully in it's place, it still gives you that red berry opening off the top, but much like my review, gives you chestnut and vanilla instead of oud, and makes it a warmer, brighter fragrance, I plan on trying more Fugazzi frags, hopefully one day I can recommend something from Fugazzi in it's place instead one day*

Recently received a bottle of this, very had to track down. I was extremely hyped to get it. Now, I've only worn it once but it fits my tastes, however I can see many not liking it. Let me explain, although not listed this opens with a bright medicinal cherry note, akin to a cherry cough drop (assuming this is the listed red fruits) this lasts for a short while before more fruity notes are added. The darker notes emerge (I don't get any oud) mainly woody notes and an underline sweetness from the vanilla, this is the longest phase. The fruity/cherry notes mellow to a synthetic "red" sweetness, smoky "ish" woody notes mellow and the vanilla increases and stays like this for remainder. I need to wear this more but I do really like it. Performance, it's lasts well projects strong in the opening, but sits a bit close which is a bit frustrating, worth trying though

I received a sample of this at this year's esxence. Given that I've been traumatized by the assaulting and insane presence of oud in perfumery in the latest years I was not interested and even asked if they perhaps had samples for other fragrances to switch with. LUCKILY they didn't. Pomegranoudh has me quite perplexed and surprised. It's the "I need something different in my roster" that I've been looking for without knowing it. Performance wise: - it doesn't seem to last very long on my skin, the sillage is pretty good considering I only sprayed it once on my wrist; - I can smell the fruits and the oud right away, to shortly after settle on oud - patchouli - amber and will probably remain like this until it goes away. On my skin the bergamot is MIA. Overall a very pleasant scent, I will probably experiment with this one.
