I'm always surprised by vanilla fragrances. I didn't think that would be a note that I liked very much, but routinely discover it as a common denominator in the fragrances that excite me most. I echo the sentiment that this feels like a distant cousin to Imaginary Authors' Memoirs of a Trespasser, but it seems to me a little more mature. It feels like the young adult bookworm has grown into a monastery's librarian. There's wisdom in these pages, and it's unlocked only with experience and patience. Very tobacco forward as well, so it that is not your taste you might be better to skip it.

One of the maybe 4 good fragrances you can get from these guys. Man oh man this one is amazing. Perfect mix of the dry smokiness of the tobacco / leather and the sweet of the vanilla. I have yet to smell something else even close to as good as this. I wish it lasted a little longer and it is very (!!!) expensive, but it is definitely worth the price. The deodorant version of this doesnt really smell that similar, but is also very good. I don't know how to describe it other than it smells very "intimate", and the two mix incredibly well

maybe my top perfume ever. i love the tobacco heavy opening and the sweet dry down, vanilla that doesnt overpower all the other scents. lasts a good 6-8 hours on me but doesnt have amazing projection. a super warm, comfy honestly yummy smelling tobacco scent. this was also basically the only scent i liked from their tester pack; the rest were all hella weird and gave me headaches. one day I will spend $205 on a bottle but today is not that day

I really like this one. Very sexy, smokey, mildly sweet. I would love my husband in this one. Could also be used by a very sexy, confident woman in leather boots. Yeah, this one is full bottle worthy.

Sampling Fulton & Roark Sterling, a sharp blend featuring prominent notes of tobacco leaf and amber, almost with a varnish/lacquer/borderline whiskey type of vibe, as well, striking and fairly powerful, though not extremely dense. It’s a non-sweet contrast to Calle Ocho, the boozier sweeter blend. It expectedly dries down to be a little calmer, though its character does not change much, with still a lot of sharpness, borderline metallic, some hours in. Like the rest of the extrait collection, Sterling is priced at $205 for 50ml, far from cheap, so I’d really only recommend a full bottle if you love it, and while I like it, I don’t love it, but I think it will suit some people very well in the cooler months, especially. My favorites of my sample set of five were ultimately Calle Ocho and Narada. 7 out of 10

I def get a bit of the the campfire/burning incense scent for the first few mins. The middle smells just like (non burning) pipe tobacco, which I not-so-low-key love. The finish is on the sweeter side and a bit powdery-- like pipe tobacco + Flowerbomb + the stick in fun dip. There's def a bit of depth to this one but the transitions happen very quickly. Overall impression: I'm not mad at it and the scent profile is totally in my wheelhouse. Would I pay $200 for a bottle? Nope. Would I wear the ish out of it at a lower price point? Yep.

I was obsessed with tobacco, incense, and leather two years ago and made several perfumes which smell VERY similar to this. I feel like I could knock this one off just using my own materials at home, so while I like it I definitely don’t need more. Save this sample to compare future batches with. These notes are for my future reference regarding some samples. Update, holy smokes! Just found out the price tag on this which is laughable considering I can make my own very close dupe at less than five dollars a bottle.

I'm admittedly not a big leather fragrance enjoyer, but this has grown on me over time. As landshark321 mentioned below, it's an almost whiskey-like scent, and I think combining it with something with a touch of spice or something with a more heavy vanilla scent would make for great layering and really increase the booziness. This would do very well for those of us who work in offices, as it's not too dramatic and the scent doesn't change too drastically over time. Could be a very good "going out" scent, as well.

First two minutes: THIS SMELLS LIKE AN ASHTRAY. After that it settles down pretty quickly into something that, to me, smells almost identical to Mona di Orio's Bohea Boheme, with a touch more vanilla. Smoky, aromatic, with that deep ambery-vanilla sweetness underneath-- it's very nice, but I already have a full bottle of Bohea Boheme (which, I might note, doesn't come with that initial ashtray smell), so I don't think I need this one in addition.

I think if you enjoy Memoirs of a Trespasser by Imaginary Authors, you will love this. They're similar, but not necessarily sisters. Memoirs is a little sweeter and this is a little more straight up tobacco. Sterling dries oddly powdery on me for one reason or another, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. I don't think I'll end up purchasing a FB because I'd rather stick with Memoirs.

Harsh, slightly barn-y/saddle-y leather dominates this scent. With the tobacco, it's giving cowboy. This scent is linear and lasted 10 hours on my skin. It doesn't project too much, but I don't think I would want it to.

Well is definitely, different. If I were to describe it, is a combination of rubber, gasoline and a sweaty suit, I know it sounds crazy, but that's because it is. All of that and then a kind of freshness as the beginning the inhaling. This one should definitely sampled first. I find that if I smell it for long enough I get nauseous. But I can see some people who enjoy really rare/strange smelling fragrances liking this one. But not for me.

Opens with a mix of its promised leather vanilla & tobacco, then dries down into a harsh synthetic smell that burns your throat & lungs. Hard pass.

It's so smokey, incense smells way better than this----just straight tobacco and leather and for the price, there is WAY better... 4/10

I’m all for a good smoky fragrance, but this is cheap men’s club perfume mixed with bonfire smoke. Pass
