A boy of 21, set out to do the impossible. Something that Sultans of the past could not do in 62 years. A victory achieved, a dream realized, a prophecy fulfilled. Filled with blood and mud, the conqueror sat on the throne. The walls were high but not as high as his sight. This was just a beginning, a beginning of the glorious Ottoman Empire, a beginning of Kayser - i Rum. Kayser - i rum starts off with strong jab of oakmoss which fortunately is cushioned by the glove of sweet and spicy saffron. Soon, an elegant sweet rose shows up leading into the heart of fragrance where the protagonist of our tale recides, the combodian oud. Combodian oud used here is slightly dry, slightly sweet with a beautiful woody undertone. Soon the note of civet, which was lurking in the shadow, comes forward giving whole concoction a slightly dirty and edgy touch. Apart from that i noticed an unmistakable minty tone which can be felt through out the life of the fragrance. Overall, development from a punchy green opening to a woody minty tone is absolutely mesmerizing. Strange as it may sound but there is a definite contradiction between what my nose gets and what is written on the notes card. Either this is the proof that Kayser is extremely well blended or I'm a laymen who just couldn't tell his lime from the lemon.

A true masterpiece from the collaboration of Ovais bhai and Anas Sabrani. Very complex but pleasant fragrance, which creates a bold and powerful aroma. Beautifully blended safron, rose, and oud, also some other notes also came in transition as well. Truly love it.
