1747

1747 is a classic barbershop/cologne composition, but it's VERY well formulated. Like many Galimards, this scent is a strong take on a classic theme. This feels more "vintage" than most of the "cologne" formulations out there. Galimards are timeless and seldom on trend, but that can be a huge advantage. The quality of Grasse lavender oil shines through particularly well on this one. The "pencil sharpener" vibe that many modern woody scents have is missing here (and not missed). I was walking through the supermarket the other day while wearing this and a tiny (5 years old or so) girl was running around the place (poor Mum). I tried to dodge her but she crashed into my leg, looked up, did the shy kid thing and ran away. As I walked away I heard her say to her mum, "Mummy, that man smelled good!" Kids have no filters, so you know you smell good when a kid says so. Or at least I choose to believe so in this case, since my wife really loves this one on me.

Çok keyifli klasik bir erkek kokusu. Açıkçası sadece 10 ml aldığım için üzüldüm. Azzaro, Polo gibi klasiklerle rahatça kapısır. Lavanta yi baskın olduğu zaman sevmem ve 1747 de lavanta tam kıvamında. Parfüm dışında jel ve Deodorant gibi ürünler olsa harika olurdu. Bence bulduğumuz yerde alın, pişman olmazsiniz.

Oakmoss, lavender and bergamot. This is such a seductive combination, I can’t help myself but keep smelling my wrists. I don’t care that this is marketed as “for men”, I’m a woman and I’ll keep using this for myself. Love it.

nice gentle natural scent, on skin smells much better

Aftershave moss in the best way possible. Strong and male, but can be used by a woman in a kind of provocative way. It projects well, is super fresh, green and earthy, plays as a single complete and strong note. Chloé Nomade’s dry down evocates this mossy assertiveness. Of course Chloé has other notes as plum, so it’s not a dupe, it’s only a part of it.
