Napoléon 1815

I absolutely see where KJS88 gets the "paper-like quality" with this Galimard fragrance. I also get a very crisp clean "paper-like" feel from this fragrance. Very good longevity with a couple sprays to inner forearm and even better longevity if sprayed on clothing. I really quite enjoy this Galimard fragrance. I actually find it rather unique and much more enjoyable than a lot of the current mainstream designer fragrances. Probably more suitable for more elegant mature (40 + years) gents.

No word can describe the beauty of this fragrance. It’s citrusy, flowery fragrance for men. Napoleon 1815 starts with citrus and Mandarin reflecting a notion of green. As it reach the middle notes a lot of roses blooms with a background of fig, jasmin and orange flowers. It’s so clean and refreshing like a Walk in an ails built of flowers freshly watered. In the heart note the rose with vetiver, patchouli and vanilla mixed in lovely creamy aromatic. It’s indeed a hidden gem.

Napoleon 1815 is a nice mix of pepper and mandarin. The middle of slight flowery rose and jasmine soften the patchouli as it dries to a sweet vetiver base. I do like it. Overall it's a huge TRY BEFORE YOU BUY juice. Some will find this slightly femme leaning. It is flora for sure. After experiencing this juice for a few wears I am getting more of the pepper and citrus and a little less of the florals. I would sample first just incase this isn't your cup of tea. Enjoy!

A traditional green vetiver men's fragrance mixed with earthiness, a little rose and some kind of animalic or body odor type of smell The musky or animalistic aspect of this hides, but then shows it face from time to time and makes a decent fragrance, bad for me. Fair projection and 6 hours longevity Antaeus is the best in this kind of genre, mugler cologne is great, terre d'hermes is classy, and guerlain homme perfume is seductive in this class I suggest you pass on this one, but if you like kouros and the like, give this a go.

A light citric rose with a paper-like quality about it. Unusual, definitely not traditionally masculine.
