If you want bananas in your perfumes, this is one that will give it to you, at least at the beginning. First, I love gourmands. Second, Ganache Parfums has some of the best, long-lasting ones. This starts with the banana, exactly what you'd expect. However, what you don't expect is the other parts coming together so beautifully - rum, caramel, cinnamon, a floral accord, a little vanilla. If you can make it through the strong banana beginning, eventually it is supported by all the other notes and the banana smell simmers down. I get a lot of caramel and cinnamon, some rum, and a little bit of a floral accord (not sure which flowers are there) and now it's a full-bodied, multi-faceted perfume. It opens big but soon after the sillage is moderate. I got mine in a 2 for 1 special, so it was a good price for something completely different.

I received my Ganache samples in the mail today. On the initial spray of this one you could definitely smell the banana but after about 30 minutes the cinnamon took over completely. After an hour the floral notes joined the cinnamon party and it has taken on an older person incense-y smell.... I am not a fan.

Not a fan. Couldn't get past the banana scent. Stayed strong the entire time and it is that candied runts banana candy smell. Not pleasant at all.
