Gendarme 20

G20 is the most similar to the original EdP, but perhaps even more concentrated. This might be nice in theory, but in practice I find it includes too much of the wintergreen-like component that I found traces of in the original. The opening is more alcoholic and sharp than any of the others, and once that goes away, the florals remind me a little of those in the Acqua di Parma Colonia series. Later, as more herbs make their presence known, the wintergreen seems to turn into a very gentle eucalyptus, which would be an improvement except that it also starts reminding me of old-school suntan lotion. I really don't know what to make of it, except to view it as a slight overkill, but I'd recommend it if you like sweet mint or wintergreen.

its smell like laundry.boozy lavender is dominant.it is fresh and ozonic. sillage is good for 1 hour but then it is poor.and unfortunately longevity is weak.

honestly this kinda sucks, maybe i just dont like lavender.

Well, anybody remember the first Herbal Essence shampoo, yes, the OG green beauty?! This fragrance is about as close to that smell as one can get. From all I've tried, anyway. Yes there is a lovely, light lavender in here but I get that gorgeous, clean- green, forest-y smell that Herbal Essence offered us. If anyone knows of another fragrance comparable to the OG HE, please let me know. I'm always chasing that memory. Let's face facts, we all had delicious smelling hair back in those days. Our shampoo & conditioner *was* a perfume!

One of the best scents ever made. The EDP takes Gendarme onto another level. It’s more dense and has tremendous lasting power with solid projection. It’s still easily noticeable after 8 hours and I always receive compliments on it Scent 10/10 Longevity 10/10 Projection 8/10 Overall 10/10
