Tattoo Artist

I'm a licorice lover, and this is like sticking my whole head into a bag full of the highest quality, sweet and slightly salty black licorice. I never tried a more gourmand scent! It's almost a bit too much. That's what I first thought, but after about 30 minutes, it calms down to a wonderful soft woody musk, keeping the licorice to a reasonable level and I start to dig it. I check out the notes. What, no licorice?! So I start searching for each listed note. Stupefied, I find them all, and as I do so, it seems these are the building blocks of licorice! Saffron, lavender and cardamom! Still I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least a bit of star anise in here. It's like those visual illusions when you can see two different things in the same drawing. Well anyway. This, to me isn't for office. Not for parties or dinners. Not sports. Possibly an autumn walk in the woods but definitely - absolutely for sitting at home with a good book. Or with your darling cuddling in the sofa with a good movie. Because it is super relaxed. Intimate. And rather sexy, because it's got something sort of vivid moving around in it! Longevity and sillage is about average, totally unisex and quite unique but still easy to wear. 7/10

Liquorice, lavender, vanilla, gingerbread. Very interesting mix. Dark but at the same time very nice and wearable in my optinion. Works well for the winter time. I think this is quite polarizing. If you like liquorice, you will probably love it. But if you don't then it won't be for you.

This was a miss. Such a miss. One thing to say: if you don't like liquorice, you probably won't like this. I really tried to give it a chance, but ended upp scrubbing after 20-30 minutes. Highly unisex and I can see how people can like it and maybe even adore it. But for someone like me who really doesn't like liquorice it's a big no.

True licorice. Funny it isn’t mentioned because it’s overpowering. Just sprayed, about to go out in the winter weather; let’s see how this holds up. Edit: Works well in cold winter, but this isn’t my thing. I will objectively say it holds up its licorice for hours, and becomes more subtle and a skin scent after 3-4 hours. If you like licorice you will most probably love it. A thick, sweet and lifelike licorice. Although I didn’t especially like it, it didn’t offend me enough for me to scrub, and I am recommending to licorice lovers. (Guerlain’s LPRN could be a more girly cousin of this also.)

I would call it forest witch instead of tattoo artist. There is a strong blast of black licorice at first, but when this calms down, it turns into a soft, woodsy smell. Paints the scenario of brewing lavender + licorice black tea in a cabin in the woods. Very unique, 100% unisex.
