Bottle gifted for review. Besides the glorious presentation of this perfume -in itself a beautiful celebration of tactile materials - the fragrance is an absolute joy to me. Immediately, the ripe raspberry hits you. Then comes a dry, dusty, medicinal oud. And then the rose blossoms. There are supporting notes of Osmanthus and iris etc, but the major play is as above, at least for me. For a rose/oud, it’s not particularly floral, hence it does lean masc. When I wear it, it imbues me with an inner strength and confidence. It’s actually been my most worn scent since I got it about a week ago. I’m drawn to it more than anything else in my collection and have worn it safely to work on a couple of occasions. I have several rose ouds in my collection and this one is currently my favourite.

I love the raspberry note in the opening and the vibes I get at the dry down. The musk creates such a wonderful scent together along with the oud and it stays on your skin all day long!

This is exactly how I expected it to be - woody and ambery fragrance. Paolo never fails!!

Best of best fragrance from Giardino Benessere. Iperione is a pure woody amber fragrance that seems to me a masculine scent with all the attractive traits. Opening of this one is mastic, ambergris, Iris and raspberry making a balanced sweet and pleasant smell. The heart further contained oud, Taif rose, lily of the valley and Osmanthus. The dry down is even beautiful with that of cypriol oil, Indian oud, ambergris and musk. This one is a warm and intense which is beautiful and expensive in smell but actually good value for money, the longevity for this one is above moderate and silage is moderate. This fits well for winter, fall and cool nights. However, this could be worn well in summers too probably the floral notes help with that. Overall, this is an amazing scent to go for. An everywhere scent that may be worn any time of the year round the clock and on any occasion. I love the fact that this doesn’t get that noticed and still keeps its warmth and ambience around. Enjoy.
