Kikey

Kikey is a very easy scent to like. It starts off with a lot of citrus and gets a little sweeter over time, in a smooth and fruity way. It is not very sweet, just slightly, with a vanillic, woody and very lightly floral background. Rose, magnolia or tuberose do not take over for me, which works well IMO. I think this is a unisex scent and can be enjoyed by many as it is not too strong and there aren't any overpowering notes. It is well blended and an all year round scent although it might not come through so well in the cold.

Kikey opens with a realistic juicy red apple which is so enchanting but it then immediately vanishes and just becomes a sour fruity powdery feminine toilet freshener type scent. It’s predominantly a pink peony fragrance with lots of white magnolia and a red apple that’s been blended with pear and grapefruit. The tuberose is screechy and just amplifies the sourness to the point that it’s headache inducing. Tuberose with sour citruses is a combo I can’t tolerate. I imagine this is what Ariana Grande (the pale and slender version) actually smells like, rather than the budget celebrity-style fragrances that she churns out. It’s delicate, fair and feminine like the off-white flesh of an apple - it’s just too sour for me as I’m not a fan of acidic fruity fragrances.
