My journey with coffee-rose fragrances started with Montale’s Intense Café—a scent I liked but found too sweet and one-dimensional.Then I discovered Delox by Tiziana Terenzi, which had the same DNA but was more complex and natural-smelling, though still quite sweet and feminine-leaning. Then I discovered Tethys, and it turned out to be exactly what I was searching for. Tethys retains the essence of Intense Café but is less sweet, more complex, spicier, and more mature. The coffee note is highly realistic, though it doesn’t project strongly. Instead, it’s more of a skin scent—if you smell the sprayed area up close, you’ll still get that delicious roasted aroma. The real stars here are chocolate, vanilla, and rose, which create a rich, indulgent, and slightly spicy heart. Jasmine acts as the backbone, adding a refined floral touch without overpowering the composition. The dry-down is where Tethys truly shines, as patchouli, cedar, and musk blend seamlessly to give it an earthy yet elegant finish. Performance-wise, Tethys is long-lasting with moderate projection and with enough depth to appeal to both men and women. The bottle design reflects what’s inside—a simple yet luxurious chocolaty brown flacon that matches the warm, gourmand nature of the fragrance. If you’re looking for an elevated take on coffee-rose fragrances, Tethys delivers depth, sophistication, and natural warmth without being overly sweet. A fantastic alternative for those who love the genre but want something more refined.

Love from the first smell. My signature scent second year. Chocolate Coffee Vanilla Jasmine and Rose. It doesn’t smell like Montale neither delox TT, but I get where this is coming from. Gentle sweet elegant gourmand blend. I literally smelled it on me the day after a rave, I took a swim in Adriatic Sea, shower and still could sense it hugging me. That’s impressive! That summer I met two more people who fell for this scent so I told them where they can purchase it. It reminds me of a slightly different Version from Montales Ristretto Intense. Almost the same DNA, the chocolate note in here is a bit different. The sillage and intensity is less compared to Montale. Very lovely scent.

Tethys, a warm spicy and super deep and mysterious fragrance for men and women. Chocolaty bottle itself reflects what is inside this juice. The coffee, chocolate, amber backed with rose, vanilla and some warm spicy, musky and powdery accord makes it an intense scent. This is deep and intense for winter, fall and mostly for nights. Opening notes in this are coffee, vanilla, chocolate and jasmine that is blended so well in perfect proportion. Heart is all amber with some of jasmine and rose which is not overpowering but balanced. Lastly, the phase of dry down is musk, cedar, vanilla flower and my favorite patchouli. Another best thing about this fragrance is its longevity which is eternal and the silage that is enormous too. this perfume reminds me of Intense café Montale, Delox Tiziana Terenzi and Ristretto Intense Café Montale. This is seductive, romantic and quite intense. I prefer using it for date night and romantic outings. This is surely not an office fragrance but yeah, for casual outings, this can be worn. Mesmerized
