what a shame , no reviewers talked about this hidden gem, it breaks my heart..and the silly comparison with shades wood...seriously????no way...shades wood is a loud monster which is synthetic and great for its price,eau de nuit oud is in its own class...its sophisticated, dark and playful.i will review it soon on "Joy Amin" channel on YouTube. i get cardamom, pink pepper, bergamot, spicy oud, saffron,tonka and mature rose...but none of it is chocking or overpowering like some mancera or montales...its a winter night suit fragrance, formal and also great for wedding parties when its foggy at night.it lasts long time..projection is above average and very very sexy.love this posh frag..its up there with gucci intense oud, boss bottled oud, tf oud wood and royal oud by creed...same family.price is little higher but for good reasons...you pay for the quality :) its a 9/10 for me.check this hidden gem surely

Class in a bottle The opening scared my at first. I was like "Oh no!!! Oud bomb!! but after 2-3 minutes, the oud settles down and lets the rose, tonka beans/cardamom and bergamot do their work. and this where this becomes a masterpiece. on me I get a rose sweet citrusy/fresh vibe. every time I bring my wrist to my nose I get something different and I love it. one time I get oud, the next bergamot, the one after cardamom and tonka beans and if I go for one more:roses! my only complaint would be projection on my it's close to be a skin scent after 45 minutes I guess it's the iris. good longevity I see my self using this in formal events indoors 4 seasons (black suits) date nights in winter and fall outdoors in summer nights on a roof terrace/patio but not in a hot and humid night if it wasn't for the projection this would have been 9/10 I will give it a 8/10 try before buying

I said Armani eau de nuit would be my best purchase of 2020 and 3 months later it still is. Eau de nuit Oud, however, has been my most worn fragrance. Even on summer nights. The cardamom opening reminds me strongly of chewing on betel nut and that fades into a beautiful cedar-like dry down. The floral blend keeps it fresh and mild as compared to the big body and tonka presence of the regular eau de nuit. The iris is transparent now and while I could detect it on my first try, I can't anymore. Though not a projection monster like eau de nuit, it has awesome lasting power on clothes and skin. One of my all time favourites.

Starts off with a blast of oud and something soapy, kinda smells like sweet dishwashing water, i dont like the first hour because of that smell, after an hour it settles but i can still smell the soap it makes me sick and i cant really enjoy it. As a long time fan of Armani i cant belive its one of their creations, it makes no sense to me as i usually find them of high quality. This all may seem like a very negative review, but after hours and the drydown shows its beauty i still find this to be a very likeable perfume, its just a very different take on a oud scent.

I’m not used to oud based fragrances, because most of them are too strong to me, but not this one. The opening of this EDP is truly addictive. When I wear it I feel like I’m going to the most special place in the earth! But unfortunately that smell disappear so quickly - at most 2 hours. After that this perfume turns into a soft floral scent, which is good too, but it's way too far from the amazing opening. However, i still like it and i can't wait to fill the colder days with that heavenly smell:-)

Armani Eau de Nuit Oud is one of my favourite perfumes. It's lovely and fresh, and beautiful. It really suits my skin, and the oud is soft and smoky. Very enjoyable. It lasts such a long time too, about 16 hours, and I get many many compliments, especially from men. It's very sensuous, and delicious. And I adore the fabulous bottle! So stunning!!!!

That is sweet rose (as in rose note - a sweet wine scent) + a bit of oud + a bit of cardamom. Very nice for a mature night out in a suit. Goes well with cold weather, rain, lack of sun. Makes the day so comfortable. Drydown is similar to Black Prestigium Mancera but a bit more positive. Loving it!

i don't get much of the oud, but boy do i love this masculine fragrance! if it's oud you're looking for, maybe this is not your best choice. go instead for the armani privé oud royal, or acqua di parma's oud. good sillage & longevity. would i recommend this frag? o yes! but not as a blind-buy

Received as a gift by classmates on my 18th birthday, Great memories are linked to this fragrance. A very fine designer edp. Balanced, dark, elegant yet playful. A oud that exudes spruzzatura, suitable to young gentlemen.

Armani's House masterpiece! I've been using it for days but I'm consuming it in no time! I fell in love: Oud, rose, saffron! Notes that caress you like gypsy hands in a seductive dance ... by night. Analysis: 9/10

Pretty sure this one has been discontinued, not sure why because it was a solid release. Maybe the designer Oud offerings have had their day, i for one really hope that isn't the case!

My husband's last purchase. What to say, my words don't make the most of this masterpiece, also discovered at a ridiculously low price. Good job, (and excellent choice, I add).

Dark and Mysterious yet still a hint of sweetness. Dark woodsy Manly and strong. DEFINITELY not for the office.

It kinda smells like an luxurious shower gel but with a very masculine vibe. It is good fragrance either way.

Fantastic Rose-oud scent that, after 1h, became sweeter with tonka, very alluring and masculine.

Spicy, rosey saffron-sandalwood. Nuit Oud's true beauty appears at the dry down. The dry down is a beautiful iris-powdery, cardamom-spicy, saffron-sandalwood-rose combination, that I'm surprised sandalwood is not in the notes. I don't smell any real oud here. Nuit Oud has an Arabic/oriental vibe but no oud. It is not a new, ground-breaking smell, but it is another new "oud" smell that you should consider if you are in the market for an "oud" spray with an occidental twist, especially if you, like me, love iris, sandalwood, &/or cardamom. Big "Like"! RIYL: Hajar by Syed Junaid, Versace Oud Noir, Montale Black Aoud, Khateer by Swiss Arabian...etc.

Sadly a discontinued and hard to find gem. Wonderful homage and uplift to the original Armani Eau de Nuit. Takes the original de Nuit dna of iris/tonka and adds a dosage of masculine rose, and of course oud. Fans of rose/oud will enjoy this. I actual get slight similarities to Cartier Declarstion dun Soir Intense in the top notes. Excellent evening scent and for special occasions. Very easy to wear designer oud, perhaps one of the best limited release designer ouds. I have an extra used bottle if anyone is desperately trying to find it pm me.

Very nice designer oud fragrance. It opens with a semi-sweet oud with some spices At the dry down the spices tone down and the smell becomes a rose woody scent Very pleasant - inoffensive fragrance. It is closer to designer oud fragrances (Gucci Oud, YSL m7, Versace Oud Noir) and far away from niche (PDM Layton Exclusif, Initio Oud For Greatness, Amouage Interlude) Easily 7/10

Smelled this today, I fell in love with it, and I'm a girl. It's quite fresh in my opinion, even though the warm oud note is evident from the beginning. I can't say much about longevity since I tried it on a blotter, but I find it extremely fascinating. One of the best man frags I've smelled so far.

This fragrance was my first Oud fragrance. I was very intrigued. The opening is wonderfully medicinal. The oud is quite strong, as is the rose. Cardamom and iris complete the perfume. My recommendation for a cheap but high-quality oud fragrance!

it's ok scent, but for 100$ you should get 5 bottles of this. if i would get this for 20$ than i would think about it. longevity is bad. projection is ok for the first hour.

The oud and the roses are the most noticeable opening notes. The oud is dark, woody, pungent, rich, and musky with an animalic touch. The rose in this fragrance is evocative of red roses, feminine, sensual, slightly powdery, sweet, and floral dense. The iris, saffron, tonka, and cardamom are the next line of notes, one or two steps behind the roses and oud. I am sorry I come back for a new review on this fragrance. I used to love it, but somehow I tried Versace Oud Noir again, John Varvatos Oud, Boss Bottled Oud, and Gucci Oud Intense and I kinda prefer them to this one. Eau de Nuit Oud is a nice frag but a bit too flowery for my liking. I love its opening but the dry down is not the best on my skin. The plus for some is that it has a very good longevity, but it's not so important to me anyway. It's a solid fragrance, but I tend to prefer the ones I mentioned above. Eau de Nuit Oud is a bit too unisex in my opinion because of that heavy rose.

This takes that ever popular, high-end commercial oud note (think TF Oud Wood, etc) and combines it in equal parts with the original Armani Eau de Nuit. This sounds like an incredible win, and undoubtedly, for many, it will be... but for me, it's a miss. Why? Because combined, the scent reminds me of brown Speed Stick "Musk" scent from the 80's. My dad wore it for years! The spicy musky smell was a cheaper version of what this smells like, and they're so similar that I just can't get past it. Between this and the original, I'll stick with my full bottle of the original. That oud note, while stunning, is far better executed in other scents, like Versace Oud Noir. I will say, however, that the original is outstanding. Everyone who encounters it seems to love it and I can't imagine anyone ever not liking it!

This new Armani fragrance is like a sweeter, more floral and not as dry version of Armani Prive’s Oud Royal, with just a dash of Rose D’Arabie’s liquor like warmth. In fact, if not for the bottle, it could easily have fitted in to the Prive line of the gold capped ‘La Collection des Mille et une Nuits’. The sweetness I’m detecting must originate from the pink pepper, but to my nose it appears as if both the tonka and a hint of saffron listed in the base notes are quite detectable at the opening. The floral heart of this is reminiscent of the original Eau de Nuit with the iris easily the stand out. The rose note is definitely there but more in the background than the iris. Oud, with the tonka and saffron keep this warm and oriental right through to the conclusion about 8 hours after first application. Both the bergamot and geranium were missing in action and I couldn't detect a trace of either. As it’s an EDP concentration it performs as I would expect, giving of a decent (but not shouting) sillage and projection and it lasts a good 8 or more hours on my skin. As yet another Westernised version of an oud, this is not an entirely original offering from Armani. It has more than a passing resemblance to nearly all of the recent spate of oud releases such as Icon Absolute, ADP Colonia Oud, Varvatos Oud, Polo Supreme Oud, etc. Still this is a nice addition to the Armani ‘Eau’ family of masculine marketed fragrances and as it’s a good quality scent that is approximately half the price of the Prive line, it’s also fairly good value for money in my opinion.

Just tried it here in Muller store in Zagreb, with 3 sprays on my wrist. It is not bad, a serious fragrance for a 30+ y.o. gentleman, has a bit of a soapy feel, nothing stands out and oud is pronounced well and does not feel overly synthetic like a few of the niche releases do (*khm AdP Colonia Oud, looking at you). Overall, good for the price (100 eur 100 ml and apparently it's an EDP). Projection is average for now, having it for an hour on my hand so can't comment on longevity. I got used to quality niche fragrances so usually I avoid designers frags, however I could see myself wearing this to work as it is different, it makes a statement, it is likable and not offensive so in my point of view a very good daily scent for a businessman in a suit, who has a few meetings every day and wants to leave an impression while still wearing something that is closer to mainstream than many niche releases are. Good 7/10 rating.

Sometime I wonder how many gorgeous fragrances go unnoticed and remain under the radar among the other hyped up and over advertised brands.. My STOD today is one such unrecognized gem.. This Armani Eu Di Nuit flanker surprised me with its beautiful sweet spicy cardamom opening which was quickly joined by an exotic saffron note, that I actually really love and enjoy. The cardamom sweetness was replaced by a gentle and very pleasant oud note in the base but the saffron stayed strong, thus creating a unique Oud-saffron combination that I had not experienced before in such perfect manner .. It is heavenly.. 3 to 4 sprays were enough to last me 4 to 5 hrs with sild 5p to 60 minutes projection.. Please check it out if you like saffron and want your oud to be on the sweeter gentler side and more mass pleasing.

Sampled it today very generously on paper and on my wrist. I'm not gonna write about longevity or projection. That is subjective and depends on skin type, chemistry etc. What I can comment is that the oud exists sweetly on the opening, but after a minute or so, it vanishes, just to leave the flowery + somewhat spicy notes on the front. After 20 minutes it smells generic flowery, unisexly subtle and without character. It should be more more present. Kind of underperforming for an EDP.

Holy mother of god this is so overlooked. This is a take on genuine oud. This isn’t just some fragrance that has “Oud” attached to the name to generate sales. This is a genuine oud fragrance in my opinion, even though the oud note being produced is synthetic. Wow wow wow this is good. Got it for $75 and it’s a steal imo. The people saying this is similar to TF Noir Extreme and La Nuit need to take a permanent hike. Zero resemblance, your noses are shot.

I picked this up by accident at Sephora... it instantly was like nothing I have ever smelled... I got a sample and have not been able to put it down. I just feel I should be wearing a velvet blazer while smelling this way! The rose is what makes this so beautiful!

For the first 2 hour you can smell the aoud. Then i simply cant smell the aoud. After 2h is similar with Dior Homme. All i can smell is the same Iris note the lipstick vibe , flowers and tonka , the aoud is gone .

Wow! I just can say wow! Honestly, for me this is a wearable oud. So sweet but meantime it has a bourgeois kind vibe. It makes me feel great and this is what I'm searching for at a fragrance.

Beautiful fragrance. Floral but not feminine. No strong oud or iris smell but this is very well blended. Head and shoulders above Armani Eau De Nuit. Very good longevity too. Instant love.

i got this on twice...and someone took it off me..sigh!! but its a great fragrance. Smooth, refined and enjoyable. I was expecting something loud and oud(y), but this was well done.

Tried it today, would have bought it if it wasn't $180 for a 100ml bottle. Certainly not worth that considering it smelled like a slightly better version of the Ferrari Oud essence

For me, this is a mix of Oud Royal and Rose d'Arabie in one bottle. Very good as a fragrance, nothing new though.

My experience is that this one is not better than the eau pour homme i think everyone will agree with me

To me this smells like a lighter version of YSL Splendid Wood, which is not a bad thing.

BUY armaf shades wood and save your money !!
