Armani Prive La Femme Bleue

Armani/Privé la femme bleue is a gorgeous iris!!! Beautiful!!!! The most gorgeous iris - it's a dream!! It lasts extremely well on me,14 hours, and I am always told how lovely I smell, everywhere I go!!! It's delicious! So soft and sweet and powdery, and very very iris. It's one of the best iris perfumes I've ever smelt!!! So comfortable and feminine. Totally divine!!!! Very elegant and refined, and exquisite. And so is the bottle, such a heavenly blue!!!! It's beautiful!!! It's one of my very very favourite perfumes, and I wear it often. It's precious!!! Totally a treasure!!!!

This is a tad too spicy & powdery initially- a bit too mature. But not a lot of time needs to pass before that stage does too & it turns so gorgeous. I’d be curious to compare it side by side against some other favorite cacao scents. But for that price it would need to be so distinctly superior that it’s apparent without side by side comparison.

One of my favourite perfumes. Beautiful. Heavenly. Gorgeous gorgeous divine iris, and woody incense with chocolate and sweet delicious vanilla. Superb. Lasts so well - 12-14 hours, and is always getting compliments, especially from women. I love it terribly! And ADORE the blue blue bottle!

I really like this perfume but I must say it's quite a heavy price compared to what you get. Don't get me wrong, this fragrance is really nice but it's not so extremely unique - it smells a lot like lipstick to me, at least in the beginning. The dry down is much more nice. I get a nice soft iris and vanilla after a few hours

One of the most beautiful perfumes that I've ever smelled! Sensual earthy relaxing and chic. It has a little similarity with Narciso Rodriguez for Him. I adore the earthy smell in this masterpiece!

Unique and amazing. Crazy expensive but it's so fantastic.

This one could be an iris-lover's dream!...if it lasted longer than 10 minutes. The opening is a pure, waxy, DIRTY lipstick iris, softened by a little bit of vanilla & woods, and given an edge by some light, wispy incense. The whole composition is pretty grounded, and has almost 0 powder, which is odd for an iris scent! As many others have said, this fragrance has a REALLY hefty pricetag for the product you're getting. You can find other fantastic iris fragrances out there, and probably buy three bottles for the price of this one! **(Edit for blind-buyers: Once in a while when I'm wearing this, I encounter a "smelly feet meets paint thinner" note, I'm not exactly sure what combination of notes is causing this, but it's not very pleasant. For the price, I would say there are WAY better iris fragrances to blind buy. I'm getting less and less impressed with the Armani Prive line, sad to say ;(. )

I am at loss for words on how divine this is. This is the perfume that got me hooked on iris perfumes. It's black iris (i read somewhere) and cocoa powder, so it's never overpowering, cloying or too sweet. It has an ethereal quality to it, striking a balance between its airy quality and yet still feels concrete enough. It leans feminine, but not overly so; perhaps because iris is a cool scent to me (as opposed to warm), it's not too flowery, but more powdery and classy. I also get the lipstick reference. The bottle is a very dark blue bottle, very elegant and suits the scent very well. La Femme Bleue translates the armani prive concept/brand very well. If you are a Armani Prive fan, you will like this as it smells classy, sophisticated, and expensive. 10/10. I wish I could get another bottle for backup or find a dupe!

I covet this unicorn and went through several samples of it. I do kind of regret not buying it when it was just standard expensive instead of unobtainable and ridiculously expensive when it comes around on eBay. Dior Homme Intense = pretty much scratches this itch, so it's not totally heartbreaking that it's gone, but this did feel like a slightly more posh, ever so slightly more buttery and powdery and rich version of what DHI does. The combo of iris, vanillin, woods, and patchouli give that "cocoa lipstick" vibe pitched with an ever so slightly more refined and "femme" twist.

Hello there, This is my first review on Fragrantica. I got a sample of Femme Bleue from Surrender to Chance and am wearing it as I type. On me Femme Bleue is a bit cloying and not particularly feminine. I am very disappointed. I was hoping it would be something along the lines of Dimanche by Strange Invisible Perfumes. On me Dimanche is gorgeous, sexy, and ever changing, taking me to a Sunday in a cafe in Paris. Femme Bleue smells sharp, fake and headache inducing. All I need is an old lady reeking of moth balls sitting next to me in a room with toxic carpeting.......

I bought Giorgio Armani Privé La Femme Bleue from Harrods in London when it was first released in 2011. At the time, I purchased three bottles because the fragrance felt incredibly unique to me, and I knew it was a limited edition. I opened one bottle and kept the other two sealed in their original boxes. More than a decade later, I feel very fortunate to still have two unopened bottles from the original release.

Watery clean, pure and transparent iris scent. Really beautiful. Simple and linear. Soft and feminine. I have Iris de Syracuse by Boucheron. They are very similar, except in the price range.

I cannot keep myself from trying this one, over and over. My sample is nearly gone. It has a strange power over me, insistent but very soft. The suede. Sigh.

Smells like a watered down and more feminine version of Dior Homme parfum Bought it for the bottle
