Armani Prive Rouge Malachite

I’m a gourmand lover, I’m confident about my taste, preferences and dislikes. But of course, as any woman I’m very curious:) I have never wore tuberose before and even had no idea of what it smells like “solo”, so “Rouge Malachite” supposed to be a great surprise for me:) As only I’ve got it (blind buy), a few seconds after opening I covered myself with the precious scent and ... became so disappointed... heavy heavy double tuberose, soapy, extremely spicy and not sweet at all... The smell-stranger was following me over 4 hours ( which proves the longevity) untill I finally washed it off. Night...sleepless night and thoughts... how could I make such a mistake? My decision was to send it back or to make someone happy with a present 🎁 Next morning, with the first sunlights and favorite music before last “bye bye” I dared to sniff it again.... and .... o, miracle! It wasn’t as much aggressive or sharp... I couldn’t believe my nose! I sprayed it over me again and with every new sniff was enjoying, discovering, feeling deeper unknown and mysterious smell. “Rouge Malachite” is gorgeous! It is absolutely amazing! Unique and modern, very strong character woman like, very confident and calm, vibrant and seductive. So what’s the secret then? Every perfume needs time to rest after it’s journey; Every perfume has to be heard and understood; Good mood and positive vibes while wearing perfumes matters. We should widen our taste! I would never think I could prefer this mixture until I gave it a chance:) and now this is one of my favorites, the magic fragrance when I want to smell different, “the only one” and unique. With my love and patience this scent has been grown on me to the perfection ❤️ My ideal fragrance, my red passion and everlasting pleasure ❤️ Good luck and be inspired 💋

Perfection. No other words needed. This perfume was the one that started my addiction, and opened my eyes to the world of fragrances. A woman, or should I say angel came through my registry at work and when I smelled her my world stopped. I had to see past my shy self and ask her «what in the world are you wearing?» Mind you, I am scandinavian, and to comment and ask people that sort of question is pretty personal, so I believe she was a bit shocked. She was in a hurry though, and all she told me was «Armani Privé! You should try it!» The first thing I did on my break was to google this magical Armani Privé, only to realise... WHICH ONE?????? And so my fragrance journey was ahead. A year later I was finally able to get to a mall where they had all of them, and a very nice and helpful lady had to guide me, a clueless 20 year old who only knew that «eh, it was very flowery and intense». I smelled them all. I had been thinking about this perfume for almost a year, and was ready to buy it at an instant, but she didn’t let me. «I’ll spray this on you, and you walk with it for the rest of the day, and then you can come back later and buy it if it really is the right one.» Then she showed me fragrantica, and here we are today. I still don’t know for certain if this is the actual one from all those years ago, but this is the one for me. My holy grail. People can say whatever they want about this one, but every special occasion, or if I feel particularly down this one solves it all, and is a symbol for me, that this addiction do have a uniting effect. Which is probably also why I wear this with such confidence and pride, and so it is my most complimented fragrance.

Rouge Malachite smells like its beautiful bottle looks to me. It smells how I would imagine the color red to smell. It’s warm and balsamic. It has an herbal, almost menthol-esque hue from the sage, which I find to be overlooked in this scent - though subtle, I think it‘s one of the main contributors to RM‘s exquisiteness. And then, of course, there is this creamy, slightly sweet blend of flowers. Usually not too fond of tuberose, I‘m glad to find it’s not as focused on it as I had expected it to be. It’s not overpowering, and simply very well-done - the most beautiful, natural tuberose note I have consciously encountered so far. I have come across several other tuberose-wary people that do love RM. It’s nicely balanced with the jasmine and some ylang-ylang. I‘m not sure if it’s the latter, but RM also has some kind of tropical, solar vibe. The creamy flowers and balmy notes almost remind me of sunscreen, which I personally adore. In general, this fragrance blooms beautifully in the heat. All in all, Rouge Malachite shines with high-quality, masterfully blended florals and amber, garnished with some sage. It smells luxurious, kind of erotic, warm, creamy, subtly tropical. A (male) friend of mine said it gives off “dancing Tango in a red dress” kind of vibes and I agree. RM has great lasting power, however, its projection is less strong than I anticipated based on the character of the scent - I tend to underspray this one. I personally like that, as it‘s easy to dose in summer this way. RM can be worn all year round!

I only have a small sample of this, and I'm not sure how old it is since I bought it secondhand, so I'm not sure if that affects the way it smells, but this stands out to me as one of the top 10 smells I have ever found! Everyone said it's an older smell, so maybe I am old now, but I am 28 and have been wearing it for a year or 2, and I absolutely love it!! (My partner also is VERY particular about "old lady" smells and he tends to think a LOT of the fragrances I like are "old lady" but he doesn't think this one is, so it's funny to me everyone categorizes it as "old"- maybe it's because my particular sample is older than 2 years at least?) I get a warm, round, buttery smell..not like the food butter, but it smells like it IS silky like butter. It's probably the amber, which is for sure the prominent note that I get, but also like a light spicy and floral note. (I usually don't like ylang-ylang, it's usually too sickly sweet for me, but they either did it PERFECTLY here, or after sitting for a while, the ylang tones down). When I wear this, I feel like I'm wrapped in a light blanket; I get a cozy but mysterious feeling... I would wear this any time, but I think it really shines in the fall/winter because of the blanketing/warm feeling it gives! Waiting for the economy to settle down, but it's DEFINITELY on my list to purchase a full bottle of!

Got a little sample of this for a late-summer wedding, a whole year ago. I had reasoned that many of the notes are fitting for summer, and that the dry-down should be perfect for the evening. It was hot and humid that day, and it gave me such a headache. The scent came off my skin in a huge cloud, trapping me and everyone near me. My hot tip, maybe it's not ideal for hot and humid weather. It fully made me sick and I haven't worn it since. Tried it again today, and it's the most beautiful, complex, richly nuanced, interesting spicy sweet scent. It didn't give me a headache or feel cloying at all. Strong and fresh on the opening, moves into the spicy nose-tickling pepper, and lingers there for a few minutes. It almost feels like an herbal stage, the interplay between the sage and the pepper. Then you start getting the flowers, the sweetness of the tuberose and jasmine, lifted by the spice of ylang ylang and a tinge of pepper, smoothed and rounded by cashmeran. After about 4 hours it's fully dried down and you're left with the softest, sweetest amber base and remnants of tuberose. The amber is like honey, vanilla, and touches something primal. At that point it sits very close to your skin. I love the way I feel wearing it, it's elevated and perfect for special occasions. Have done a complete 180 from being a true hater to loving it.

I never expected to fall so much in love with a perfume, but this is to die for! My absolute favourite scent. Someone compared this to Alien which I hate, so don’t let that put you off. I have many white floral scents and this is in an entire league of its own. I really don’t get much spiciness at all. This is the best white/yellow floral, feminine fragrance in my opinion. Try it for yourself! This is perfect for all year round, and in any occasion. I love the clary sage note and the relaxing vibe it gives. The white florals are creamy and elegant. This is the kind of scent I imagine an ancient goddesses would wear. Longevity wise, I get around 3-4 hours out of this, but find it’s a skin scent after an hour. This is just so divine, angelic, sophisticated .... Absolutely stunning! I hope this is never discontinued. I adore everything about it and will buy this forever! As for D&G The Only One Intense, yes this scent is 90-95% similar with a hint more orange blossom, and the same strength for the first hour. After that The Only One Intense is a much softer, weaker scent than Rouge Malachite. Both are skin scents after an hour but Rouge Malachite is stronger (as you’d expect at 3x’s the cost!) Longevity wise though, they are the same. For the price D&G is an excellent option if you don’t want to or can’t afford to fork out on Armani.

This is one of the most beautiful and addictive floral fragrances I’ve had the pleasure of smelling. It is elegant, smooth, classy and so beautiful. The beginning of this perfume reminded me a lot of By The Fireplace by Maison Margiela. Begins spicy, woody, warm, and very much unisex. Then, it completely changes into a beautiful and smooth tuberose/jasmine fragrance. I don’t detect any of the indolic nature these flowers often have, making it a very likable and approachable floral. The flowers to me don’t feel heavy at all, more luxurious and smooth and not in your face nor headache inducing. Pretty long lasting. It is not an extremely loud or obnoxious fragrance but very detectable. A lot of people compare this to Alien. I personally don’t like Alien, but I like this. While it does remind me of it in the dry down, this is much smoother, even creamier, refined, and has more depth and nuisances. It is not that sharp metallic jasmine that is Alien. It doesn’t assault you in any way. Stunning, truly. Would I get it? Considering the price point, I wouldn’t get a full bottle. But I’d be more than happy to get decants and use it on special occasions. If you love spicy, woody and smooth white florals, it would be worth checking out! Gorgeous!

Creamy, opulent tuberose at its most luxurious. There’s a subtle hum of benzoin, amber, and ylang-ylang rounding out the heart, but it’s the velvet-soft floral core that truly shines... never screechy, never too heady. This is white florals bathed in warm light: sultry, languid, addictive. It leans toward what some might call a “sunscreen” scent, but this is no beachy coconut cliché. Instead, it evokes a golden hour glow on tanned skin, the kind of warmth that lingers on silk slip dresses and sun-kissed shoulders. There’s an enveloping smoothness here... every note blended into an almost creamy haze that feels both polished and a little hedonistic. Absolutely divine in warm weather, especially on summer nights when the air is thick and the mood is slow. It feels dressed up, but never tries too hard. Truly effortless glamour in scent form. A confidence booster, an aura. I often wish it lasted longer than the few hours I have with it in the heat. One of my personal favourites. An easy go-to. Not entirely unique, but an elevated version of similar offerings. The kind of fragrance that makes you feel like you’re walking through heat waves with your head high. Intoxicating, radiant, unforgettable.

Tuberose is one of my favorites. I first sampled this close to a year ago. I liked it fine, but was distracted by so many other tuberoses at the time. But I’ve seen the light. This gives Fracas, Marfa, Tuberoza, and Quattro Pizzi some stiff competition for 2nd Place best tuberose. Second only to Carnal Flower. Rouge Malachite feels as special as Carnal Flower to me, though. And they’re different enough that it wouldn’t seem redundant to own both. The tuberose I get from Rouge Malachite is more bubblebath than bubblegum. The intertwining of powdery-sweet tuberose & creamy-tropical ylang ylang, together with resinous benzoin and warm amber, has me so obsessed. I had guessed there was tobacco in this, but it’s not listed. Perhaps that’s a combination of ylang ylang, pink pepper, and benzoin. There’s a soapy powderiness to the dry down that’s sublime. Addictive. This is so masterfully blended. Deep, dramatic, multi-faceted, and ultra smooth. A luscious, romantic, dreamy MASTERPIECE EDIT: I’ve got it! For days, I had been trying to nail down what this was reminding me of. A tuberose Dior Addict, that’s what.

Absolutely divine. I completely adore it, it's my signature scent, and the most wonderful fragrance in the world!!! The most beautiful tuberose I've ever smelt!! Divine!! Glorious!!!! So sensual. It is deliciously strong and lasts for ever, and my husband also adores it and wears it himself! We both smell so gorgeous together!!! It's lovely!!! I get compliments from everyone, who all tell me I smell sexy and beautiful and magnificent! It's such a wonderful dreeeeam of a perfume!!!!! And the bottle is also the most beautiful thing. It's completely magnificent! The most stunning bottle I've ever seen, and the most perfect red of all time! I love it!!!! It's the most beautiful, sweet, herby, woodsy tuberose; so alluring and feminine on me, and I can't stop smelling myself - not that I have to sniff my skin to smell it: it wafts gently around me all day, so I'm in seventh heaven all the time. It's beautiful, beautiful!!!! Totally GLORIOUS!!!!! I am completely bewitched by this fantastic perfume!!!

It’s what the colour red would smell like if it had a smell. It’s a very delicate tuberose and it almost doesn’t change at all throughout the wear being a warm, sweet, unmistakable tuberose from the beginning to the end. Despite being a white floral fragrance, it’s my absolute favourite perfume and I don’t like white flower scents. That’s just how GOOD this fragrance is. I know it’s not listed as a note, but I feel vanilla somewhere in the background, perhaps honey as well. As weird as it sounds, it smells like a shea butter body lotion I had 15 years ago, so there could be cocoa beans in there as well. It’s perfect for all seasons and it gets you compliments even during heatwaves. It does fill a room, but not in a “perfume” kind of way. It fills the room with vanilla sweetness and tuberose goodness. Subtly. Warmly. Definitely Armani’s best and possibly the best perfume ever made, as I feel it’s a blessing to my nose whenever I smell it.

I finlly got a bottle of this and the first thing I thought of when I smelled it was how similar it is to L'Artisan's Rappelle-Toi, which I have and love. That one is nominally a gardenia perfume, but it reads tuberose at times, and it has the signature non-sugary sweetness and complexity of Bertrand Duchaufour's best work. Rouge Malachite opens with a bubblegum tuberose note, but that settles down quickly and eases into a smooth and subtle scent. It doesn't project much, and since the hallmark of the Prive line is elegance and sophistication, that is what I expected. The base has a lovely, radiant warmth and ease, and it's one of the few tuberose perfumes I know of that won't clear a room if worn in the wrong environment. I am glad I have it now, but I don't really "need" it since I have Rappelle-Toi. However, one can never have too many heady white florals in my opinion, so it's a welcome addition to my fragrance wardrobe.

I tried this one today and my husband had to grab my purse, hold my hand, drag me towards the exit of the store, like when a person is dragging a dog that does not want to go home after a walk at the park..., yes, like that... I was in love... I mean I am a tuberose woman, can you blame be if I want to spend his hard earn money in a perfume? I bet you won't! LOL. The tuberose mixes perfectly with the ylang-ylang and jasmine s. and benzoin creating a beautiful evolution. Unfortunately I am not able to feel the orange blossom. It is coozy, after it dries completely giving an entire experience... The marvelus white flowers at the beginning, the evolution to the middle notes with the ylang-ylang with the jasmine s. And the coziness at the end. Marvelous creation. Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 I would wear this perfume all year long, day and night only adding that during summer I would avoid wearing it on pulse points.

I’m trying to figure this one out. I am confident that I do not like the opening at all. It smells a little like cigarettes to me. This might be the combination of the potent pepper against the silky texture of the tuberose that reminds me of smoke. Also it’s quite chemically in the opening. After 30 minutes or more, the pepper settles and the jasmine, tuberose and amber come through. The tuberose is well blended and not cloying. The pepper is still in the background. The drydown is more likeable. However, I’ve yet to find anything stand-out-ish enough that justifies its price. This is what I imagine a modern version of Eartha Kitt’s character, Lady Eloise, from Spike Lee’s ‘92 film Boomerang to smell like. And although I’m showing my age with that comparison, I’m not sure I have achieved that level of vampy, jewel-studded cigarette holder, rich cougar yet.

This is such beautiful warm spicy floral powerhouse. Lush white flowers (I am not yet developed enough on my fragrance journey to be able to distinguish between jasmine and tuberose) on a bed of amber; rich, creamy, intoxicating, with a peppery fizz at the opening. The spices never actually fully dissipate, but continue to flicker in and out as the scent develops on the skin. I just want to keep spraying and spraying, it's the kind of scent I feel that I can't get enough of. To me, it is unisex but skews feminine, and I think of it as an evening fragrance. I know Alien is a common reference point, and I love both of them, but Alien is more jasmine dominated, with the other notes supporting the massive jasmine bouquet, while Malachite Rouge is more balanced among the white florals, amber, woods, and spices. It is sophisticated, elegant, confident.

This is a knock your socks off white floral, so if this is not our cup to tea, best move on. With that said, white floral lovers rejoice as this is a high quality, long lasting masterpiece. The tuberose is the star, so you get that bubble gum sweetness in the opening, then the jasmine, orange blossom and ylang ylang give this a three dimensional photo realistic bouquet of fresh flowers. The real kicker in this is the benzoin, cashmeran and amber. Together they give this a luxe, rich and unique quality that is unlike anything I have tried before. The dry down almost leans unisex and all the baseline notes compress into a rich, resinous and supple glow that radiates off the skin. Expensive but well worth it. You def get what you pay for here. Runs feminine, but it smells so good, I don't care. I wear this all the time.

Sexy, confident tuberose leaving a scent trail wherever you go. I couldn't quite juxtapose the attention-hog red bottle against the listed notes before I tried on the perfume, but upon reflection, the bottle is a pretty spot-on representation of what this perfume does. It is for someone unquestionably in charge of their feminine power. The warm vanilla-tuberose-amber blend is giving long slinky dress for dinner and drinks at the White Lotus resort, hair tucked behind the ear with a beautiful white jasmine flower. In another universe, it is also giving south Asian wedding in the summer, airconditioned perfumed mist, lehenga or saree, a braid of tuberose and jasmine woven into flowing dark hair. Rouge Malachite stands strong in any chaos of smells and sounds but doesn't ebb into headache territory. Lasts 5-6 hours.

Smelled it at the airport and I slowly fell in love with it! Beautiful inviting sensual carnal smooth velvety creamy tuberose and jasmine sambac that reminds me of Dior Addict which I also adore...!!! It's perfect for special occasions, intimate I'd say. I compared it to the Verde (green bottle), but after hours this is clearly a creamy tuberose-jasmine sambac. It's for the colder weather, while the Verde to my nose is for all hours, seasons, occasions. They both smell quality, elegance , femininity. 🥰🥰🥰 9.5/10, because it doesn't last at least 12h on my skin. Yes, with that price I have demands!!! I prefer the Verde a tiny bit more. Update: the drydown on the paper is now much better (more smooth and velvety tuberose) than the verde. Hmmm. 10/10

@orange lips11 the only reason I think this reminds some of us of old Alien is jasmine and cashmeran. Many perfumes that have this mix are 'accused' of being Alien dupes, because it is distinctive DNA. Today Alien is too musky so people are a bit desperate to find replacement. My nose is not trained that well, so for the flowers, I smell perfect blend of jasmine, tuberose and Ylang ylang in this one. It has herbal note from beginning to the end. Pepper disappears soon and you are left with flowery creamy sweetness, dense and luxurious. The reason I mentioned Alien Essence Absolue is not to say this is dupe but it has some of the notes, vibe and is deep, rich fragrance that would (maybe) be great alternative for those who loved that Alien flanker.

One of my favourite ambered white florals and is part of my brat pack which includes Vert Malachite, Marfa, Supreme Bouquet, Alien Essence Absolue. All of them different enough on my skin to not feel redundant. Shines in colder weather she is luxurious and refined. I get the Alien references but it’s a very different scent. All the Aliens (excepting the Absolue) are a much drier...almost arid experience and nowhere near as perfectly sweet or embellished with such juicy and creamy florals. I’ve worn this out and I’ve worn it to work. I feel both polished and attractive when I’m dressed in RM. It never hurts to have people tell you you smell amazing, or ponder in your work area about who is it that smells so good. Delightful.

honestly surprised me so much, because i wasn’t expecting it to be this pretty. it feels different from most of the scents i’ve smelled before, and it immediately gave me a very specific mood. to me, it screams summer, especially summer nights. not that it isn’t wearable in other seasons, but it has that soft, dreamy summer feeling: warm days where you can feel the wind in your hair, late-night car rides, that calm glowing atmosphere where everything feels a little unreal. it has a floral essence that’s blended in such a smooth, beautiful way, nothing feels harsh or messy. it has a soul. and honestly, this is one of the rare scents that feels signature worthy to me. i could genuinely see myself wearing it as my scent.

i never thought i'd fall in love with this type of scent. i cant explain how beautiful this perfume is, the complexity of it makes it very unique. i discovered it by accident, i was first into YSL Supreme Bouquet, then someone told me that I should try Rouge Malachite and boom! thats it! goodbye YSL SP...Hello Armani RM... no turning back... however i feel Xerjoff Quattro Pizzi has created something quite similar, the difference is Xerjoff QP smells more creamy bcoz of the coconut. when go to the office or formal occasions or dinner date , i'd spray on Armani RM. when im gonna be out and about with grilfriends during daytime, i'd spray on Xerjoff QP. both are chefs kiss!!! MUAXXX!

I can’t express how much I adore this fragrance! More than I could have imagined. I had a 3ml decant that I played with for a while and finally pulled the trigger on a full bottle at a Nordstrom sale. Much to my surprise, the bottle was ever so much better than the decant! Brighter. Fresher. Overall more lovely. This was a big expense with 100 ml being the only bottle option. I’m super happy with the fragrance. I just think they could do better with the packaging. The only negative is the crappy cap. It feels so low class. Plastic. Hard to pull off. Armani could really do so much better. Honestly, probably would cost them less than $1 to fix the issues.

Received a sample of this from Armani, and this is incredibly sexy especially on the dry down. This is definitely wealthy, rich lady vibes. I could see this being a real head turner, especially with men. It's got that classy old money kind of feel to it, but it doesn't smell dated or old-fashioned at all. And when I become acquainted with Armani as a fragrance house, the more I begin to see just how classy their offerings are. If you push aside things like Acqua di Gio/Gioia and really explore their prive line and even some more of their main stream fragrances, they have some real winners. This is definitely one of them. Beautiful fragrance.

This stuff is pretty incredible. Definitely not for the faint of heart! Powerful tuberose, more creamy than it is sweet. This is not a “fresh spring floral”, it is a super warm spicy rich white floral, which may translate to some as mature. Strong benzoin/amber throughout. Savoury spices are very noticeable at the top - I get something like cayenne. Someone in the notes commented it smells smoky to them, which I can detect. It’s a bit odd to my nose, but interesting (makes it feel like a winter fragrance) - in any case it doesn’t last long and you are left with an extremely elegant and well blended classic white floral. Unisex.

I just tested RM today along with some other fragrances at Saks and Neimans but I keep reaching for this one, and it really is beautiful. To me, it’s like the soft-spoken girl you didn’t know had a seductive side. :) Really really captivating and just gorgeous amber white florals. The softness of the cashmeran and the tuberose draws you in while the jasmine and the benzoin leaves you wanting more and more. It also feels like the kind of fragrance you’d want to wear when you fall in love with your soulmate but is also fitting for everyday wear :) (WHEN YOU WANNA FEEL LIKE UR IN A BOTANICAL GARDEN IN THE MOONLIGHT) _:( ́ཀ`」 ∠):

I can't believe I didn't comment on this yet. Right off the bat, this is a love, obviously. It smells luxurious in a way it convinces you it is worth the ridiculous price. Don't wanna repeat everything that's been written here a hundred times. I just need to tell you to take this to a tropical humid country for the full experience. It is going to bloom like crazy, it gets juicy and so much more exotic and sexy. The coconutty note vanishes in the heat and you are left with tuberoses picked by gods. Sad thing - longevity and sillage could be better. (Like Vert Malachite.)

Armani Prive is such a beautiful line of fragrances. Everything smells so elegant, well made, and expensive. Within the Armani Prive line, Rouge Malachite and Vert Malachite are my favourites. I have a decant of each and I love wearing both. Rouge Malachite is a sophisticated tuberose which makes me feel like a put together, classy woman. It’s elegant and doesn’t smell “old”. It’s smooth and oozes sensuality, and it is on my list of fragrances that I must purchase. If you like whites florals that smell modern and sophisticated, I highly recommend testing this out.

I've had Rouge Malachite for 2 years now, and I can confidently say it was a great purchase. I'll preface this by saying I bought the 100ml for a good price back then (200 EUR). RM is elegant, refined and smooth. It gives me a confidence boost when wearing it. It's a strong scent that lasts all day, with moderate to strong projection. It's funny how it never feels too strong or overwhelming though. I also didn't expect RM to be a crowd pleaser, but surprisingly, many of my colleagues, friends and family complimented me on it.

Received this as a gift from my wife when we got married. I had told her that this was one of my favourite perfumes when we were still getting to know each other. It still is. Although feminine leaning and extremely pricey, it is exemplary in every way you can imagine. We both wear it now and enjoy it but only during special occasions. I would purchase it again without a doubt. Go smell it and you may like it or you may not but to me this is fantastic in more than just the smell.

Rouge Malachite is such a masterpiece. She completely blows The Only One Intense & Alien out of the water. Those 2 don't even come close! RM is such a sophisticated & elegant tuberose fragrance for fall & winter nights. She's so intoxicating. The ultimate femme fatal fragrance for me.. Very well blended, She's heavy on the tuberose & she's spicy so I suggest sampling if you think those qualities may be questionable for you. I can't wait for fall just so I can wear her again.

A perfume that is suitable for lovers of floral scents, especially tuberose and jasmine, with a soft but bold combination, which is suitable in all seasons in my opinion. This is the perfume that I fell in love with after Santal Dan Sha, and Rouge Malachite is the definition of a beautiful, elegant, calming fragrance. I can't stop sniffing my wrist. Very winning fragrance, really puts me in a good and relaxed mood. Its 1000/10 for me. I LOVED IT!!!

Went shopping with a male companion, and we tried this on my skin. He said it is a very sexy scent. I couldn't agree more. There is a tendency to use edible, candy-inspired perfumes, and a man is not always willing to make love to a cake. The scent really performed beautifully, and even after a shower and a good night's sleep, it still smells on my hand. I am purchasing a bottle of this one 100%. Among all the perfumes we tried, this is the one.

The ONLY tuberose fragrance I truly love among a sea of other tuberose fragrances. Pascal Gaurin gave us an elegant but sophisticated masterpiece. I love it from beginning to end and it lasts for hours and hours. The tuberose is present for the whole wear but in different ways, at first, it’s more fizzy, then, it’s deeply floral but in the end, its amber-y and warm and so sultry ♥️ It’s a love that I will always have in my collection ✨

A cold weather, evening and night time scent. Totally unisex, has a rich, voluptious, creamy tuberose with pink pepper, sage, ylang ylang and jasmine to it. I dont get much amber or cashmeran, though fleeting orangle blossom is there at the start. Its fruity and bursty in the start but then becomes rich, spicy and very dense. Its unique, complex and comforting in a mature way. Soft, spicy, rich and very well blended florals. Love it.

@Waltzing Matilda the one you are thinking about is Niche Royal Rouge. It is good to know about this dupes. I am surprised about price increase and I don't see it on their Italian website yet. It is very unfair what they are doing. 10-20e would be okay, but this is rude. It is beautiful femme fatale fragrance in similar way like Alien essence Absolue. I been dreaming about it for a while but price made some others a priority.

Very beautiful fragrance. I think it's a deep gourmand sweety floral that reminds me Cinéma by Yves Saint Laurent. I don't understand when people say it's very sexy or provocative and strong woman style. To me it's an innocent gourmand but luxury and heady perfume. I think it's good for cold days because it's warm scent that provides comfort. Maybe a good scent to go to bed in winter after drinking a hot chocolate 💜

Guys -- the winter allegations are FALSE. This is a fragrance that can (in my humble opinion) be worn year-round, save for maybe the hottest days. Would be glorious applied lightly on a summer evening, nice dress, vacation island dinner date vibes. Very classy, creamy white florals with subtle sweetness. G.O.A.T. of white floral fragrances imo. Signature worthy if your aesthetics match. Screams quiet luxury.

I love this scent and feel like it reminds me of a summer evening, after you have been in the sun, and just have taken a shower. There is something mystical about it. It gives me similar vibes as «pure poison» by Dior and «crystal noir» by Versace. I would say it is an evening perfume. The big downsides are that it doesn’t last long on my skin. A few hours maximum. I don’t feel it’s worth the price tag.

This opens as a spicy sage but quickly dries down into a masterpiece. In the mid, I get a spicy cinnamon vanilla. I am guessing that is the Benzoin. Upon drying down, it's a beautiful take on tuberose. I can see the resemblance to Alien on the dry down, but the spicy vanilla is blended with the tuberose keeping them two different fragrances. If you love one, you will probably enjoy the other.

I love tuberose, and in this perfume I can detect it at the beginning, middle, and end. What a wonderful scent—sophisticated, elegant, and addictive. I find it very similar to Nishane's tuberose, but this one is more velvety and cozy. I love them both. At the start I feel pepper and tuberose and as the perfume evolves the tuberose dominates. Perfect. I bought it blind and I don't regret it.

Worth the hype. Waited ages to take the plunge on this one. There is something reminiscent of Alien for sure, but it is so much more. While Alien screams "I'm here!", Rouge Malachite speaks to herself in a smooth, sultry voice you can't help but follow. Creamy, rounded, a bit spicy - I find this so alluring! Despite it's soft creaminess this stuff lasts ages. Wafts of it 24hrs later.

Alien smell nothing like Rouge Malachite, Alien is strong in Jasmine, Rouge Malachite is strong in tuberose, Jasmine and tuberose are 2 differences flowers, I tested it side by side on my right arm and left arm, they are nothing alike, what a joke.... just like I hear people say it everyday, Angel's Share smell like apple pie...... If you have Alien, don’t bother. Similiarity is beyond. They both smell alike, both potent, good longevity and sillage. I had 30 ml of Alien, so i’m happy that i got Rouge Malachite, i love the jasmine with cashmeran, now i have 130 ml in total :’) this one has slightly better performance, 3 sprays on rouge malachite choking me, 2 sprays max equals smelling good till the evening.

Rich tuberose from start to finish, with elements of smoky aromatics at the onset and floral sweet as it dries down on my skin. The jasmine is very noticeable on my skin too, I can see the comparisons to Alien. This is a lovely scent, works all year round but I think it shines in transitioning seasons, so spring and autumn. Lasts all day and then some.

I looooooove this so much. It's very feminine and sophisticated. I feel truly confident when i wear this where i don't need to talk and just smile and people treats me nicely. Also, it's quite expensive and i don't really own this, i just drop by at Sephora and spray myself to my heart's content before i go on events or seeing a date hahahaha.

The floral notes in this are so realistic. Like other reviewers have noted it reminds me of being out to a fancy restaurant with big vases of flowers. The pepper gives it a subtle energy without overwhelming anything else. Smells 'expensive' with an interesting sweetness. The drydown kind of reminds me of the smell of my mother's foundation.

Yes, this kind of smells like Alien but Oh, a way better Alien! As much as I like Alien and Alien Essence Absolue, in comparison with Rouge Malachite they smell cheap. This perfume smells elegant and classy! Beautiful creamy white flowers! I wouldn't wear this in hot weather, it is quite heavy but it is perfect for cold weather.

I just received this as a blind buy today and oh my Lord it is beautiful. I have D&G the only one intense too and while it is good and this reminds me e little of it there is no comparison. This is SO much better and more complex and refined. It is more like a softer, powdery Alien for everyday wear since its very inoffensive.
