Emporio Armani Stronger With You Oud

I initially wrote this in SWY Leather because Oud wasn't yet listed so copying from there: I've recently gotten into fragrances and have been acquiring quite a few samples of popular colognes. My favorite of the SWY's so far is Absolutely. Where Absolutely is rum forward initially, Oud I immediately get leather. (Can't comment on SWY Leather as I don't have it but would be interesting to compare it to Oud). This SWY Oud is pretty similar to/ but a weaker version of Tom Ford's Ombre Leather Parfum at first sniff. But the leather from SWY Oud soon dissipated after 20-30 minutes (altho seems to last longer with 5-6 sprays) and then I just got the drydown similar to the other SWY's and Azzaro's The Most Wanted, but maybe a little less gourmand sweet and more lavender which is actually quite pleasant. Personally, I still prefer Absolutely out of the SWY line up. If you really want the initial leather scent and something that will last longer, get Tom Ford. You could also layer with any of the SWY's or The Most Wanted. But that can get quite pricey. For me, I'll stick with Absolutely until the next flanker comes along. Would have been neat if they tried something a bit less mass appealing like layering Encre Noire (much more woody/ earthy) or Bentley for Men Intense (more boozy) with the SWY drydown. Surprised there's no mention of leather in any of the accords or fragrance notes. Don't get any woody scent at all. Just straight leather. 🤔 Only place I've been able to sporadically find this in the US is fragrancebuy ca Update: I tried this again with the remaining amount of the 2ml decant I got. This time I sprayed about 5 sprays - one on each wrist, two on chest, one on neck. Previous time I only did two sprays. Now for some reason, the leather opening lasted much longer - a couple hours. And then transformed into a warm lavender bomb. Minimal of the sweet SWY dna found with all the others - more in line with the scent accords above. Really digging it this time; I'd get whiffs of the lavender throughout the day...one of my fav floral scents - but still in a masculine kinda way. Really strange how the nose works. Maybe because I let it sit a few weeks before trying again?? Think I'll need to get another 3-5ml decant of this. Great stuff.

Work out. Hot shower. Doused myself in SWY Oud and immediately questioned if I made the right fragrance choice for the evening. It was sweet, and nutty, and interesting. Nose close to the skin it smelled organic, whole grain, nutty, oats? Designer style oud I guess. Now I’m committed, so I layered up and took the dog outside for a walk in 50° Northwest springtime weather at the park. Sun setting. 9pm. And that’s when the magic happened. As it gently rolled out of the top of my jacket around me it smelled amazing. Slightly sweet. Slightly nutty. Slightly oud-y. Slightly vanilla-y. Along with the crisp, cool air it was perfect. All the green leaves on the trees, yet this scent evokes darker shades of brown/black/gold. This scent matches the color of its bottle exactly. Light oud fragrance. Nice contrast to all my other strong-arm ouds. Non-offensive. Decent projection. Kind of gourmandy without the overt sweetness which I appreciate. Very nice addition for a cool, relaxing evening.

Stronger with you DNA with some woods. If you have one fragrance from this line, you pretty much have them all (especially on the drydown). If one of my friends wore a different Stronger with you flanker on different days/weeks I would have trouble telling most them apart if I didn't have them side by side to compare, and thats coming from someone that owns and loves 4 of them (Leather, Oud, Amber, Tobacco, and I'm currently looking for Sandalwood too) These middles eastern SWY exclusives that have a new note in their names are pretty much what you would expect. SWY Amber? Stronger with you DNA with more amber SWY Tobacco? Stronger with you DNA with tobacco Get it..? This doesn't just apply for the ME releases, this is what they do for the entire line. Every new Stronger With You release is a slightly tweaked version of the DNA with a new note. With that being said though, I love this DNA and I will continue feeding into my consumerism by buying every new middle eastern release.

First off, this is a great fragrance! It’s well made, classy scent, great-looking bottle and performs incredibly well. That being said, if you have any other Stronger With You (SWY) lines, as well as any other Oud fragrances (less animalic and fecal ones), this fragrance becomes redundant. It starts off with very soft Oud and lavender, and dries down linearly to vanilla and Oud. These combinations sweeten and soften the Oud to the point that it basically isn’t there and is very pleasant to wear. Performance 10 hours on skin, projection is good and sillage is too. I don’t have any SWY lines but I prefer Absolutely over this purely because I already have a wide variety of Oud fragrances (from soft-sweet to skanky-animalic) so this feels pointless in my collection. Dunno if I’m going mad, but this is reminiscent of Bvlgari Man Black Orient to my nose. Blind-buy safe. Recommend: BUY Rating: 4.5/5

I've been wearing this when I can for the last couple of weeks and I'm hooked. Originally got a 50ml and now a 100ml backup. I'm a fan of Intensely and Absolutely but this was a whole new level. The open is deeeeep, rich and rivals the more opulent niche openings. The oud has a VERY slight medicinal touch but that disappears very quickly and the oud gets sweet and spicy. The chestnut and the sweet boozy note come up thru that opening and it just melts together into a fragrance blend that's really amazing. As the oud sits back a bit the familiar SWY base comes up to carry the fragrance thru the drydown. A genuine 9.5/10 and a strong buy recommend. Projection, sillage and longevity are ALL well above average to very long lasting. This has no shortfalls aside from the fact that it's a flanker. It's a flanker that has exceeded to original IMHO.

This fragrance is creamy & sweet with enough spice & wood to balance it all out into a superb fall/winter fragrance. I mostly get vanilla, roasted chestnuts, woody oud, & a hint of fall spice. Disclaimer: the oud note in this fragrance is very mild & smooth. Almost leathery. Not the animalic or funky type. I don't consider this a bad thing though. This makes it a safer option for western use. But if you go into it expecting a more complex oud scent, you may be disappointed. The performance of this one for me was great all around. Lasted around 6 hours & projected well without suffocating anyone around me. Then settled to a pleasant softer skin scent for about 4-6 hours. If you're already a fan of anything in the Stronger With You line, I recommend you try this one out aswell.

I know unicorns are real because I have one named Armani Stronger With You Oud Lovers of scented air here is the thing with this one: On paper/clothes it smells almost exactly like The One Luminous Night (weaker Initio Side Effect), minus the opening which has Oud in it On skin it smells almost exactly like Stronger With You Absolutely, minus the opening which has Oud in it Yes, the Oud is there at the start but it's gone in 30-60 minutes, can't say that about my sex life So with this one, it all depends where you spray it, skin or clothes or as a mosquito spray The disappointing thing is that in the air it just smells like any other Stronger With You fragrance, but up close is where it shines like my bold head 10/10 frag but you don't need to run after this one

This smells so unique to me. I don't feel like the note breakdown is doing justice describing this fragrance. SWY Oud feels so much more complex, in the opening I get the slightest feel of leather, which then slowly and beautifully transitions into incense - neither of which are notes that show up in the note breakdown. The sweetness really tones down the oud and makes it a lot more wearable to me. This is by no means a freshie, this is still a very heavy scent, it projects well and lasts a while. If you're looking for a fragrance dosed with oud, this isn't it. However if you're looking for a fragrance that takes a new direction in terms of oud in perfumery - this is most definitely it.

Emporio Armani's Stronger With You Oud is a very sensual and alluring fragrance. It promotes a wonderful creamy oud that smells delectable. The vanilla is smooth and projects well, and the oud that supports the body of the fragrance is beautiful and resinous. The lavendar note adds that floral touch that completes the fragrance. It's very well done, and very wearable all things considered. Classy, sophisticated, with great projection. Although Oud is somewhat of a departure from the original DNA, I would say that it is the most intriguing of the four Middle Eastern exclusives, and in my opinion, one of the best designer Oud's on the market. Well worth picking up!

So first off the batch code # is 38UD01F = Got this on Amazon they got it from Store of the World took 9 Days to get. Anyways this smells simply devine omg !!! Smells nothing like the rest of the line this is in a class of its own this is very masculine and mature and sexy so glad I bought a 3.4oz bottle I am in love ❤️ with this fragrance if you find this do not wait buy yes it is blind buy worthy if you do not buy well you messed up because this is awesome and worth every penny I spent $129 very very nicely done.

As many of us know, Luminous Night is a super hard frag to get these days without paying an arm and a leg for... I smell the direct comparisons to that frag without question. This may be a great alternative that is obtainable if you like that profile... which I do. Without question you get the SWY base profile as well... The oud comes across more like leather to me, which I don't mind...

Strong leather, and oud smell when first sprayed. When the scent dies down it smells like every other "SWY" line, especially SWY Intensely. I say use this only, and only on special occasions. It is very classy, I mean even the bottle itself is classy. VERY MASCULINE SMELL TOO!!! Def wear it if you want to fish for some compliments or just stand out from the rest of the guys/gals.

Stronger With You Oud is a banger and a must have if you're collecting the SWY series. 🔥🥇💯 SWYO closest comparisons are SWYL and The One Luminous Nights due to the way the spice & sweet notes are blended along with the scent quality. Therefore, SWYO may be a redundant and/or senseless buy for some. 😛 I got my 100ML bottle for a good price...so no regrets here! 😋🤣 Overall: 10/10

This opens up much more leathery than I was expecting. Not a leather dominant scent but it's certainly there. The lavender and vanilla together is nice and sets itself apart from the other SWT scents I have tried. It's classy. It's sweet but not syrupy sweet like SWT Intensely. It's mass appealing, blind buy worthy if you like these notes.

It’s a top 3 SWY. I would say Amber and Absolutely is in the list as well, but this might be the best. One of the best beginner ouds. Not raw oud, but who cares. It’s a soft, cozy, non-animalic and warm and cozy kind of an oud accord, mixed with the sweet, nutty, toffee SWY-dna. It lasts, it projects and it’s pretty cheap. A solid one!

For me, I like the idea of swy oud. This is because they took the DNA of the original swy and made it sophisticated with the obvious oud note with lavender, I can understand how this fragrance could be loveable to others and me, it's just that the oud does not last as long as the Swy intensely or absolutely version but 8/10 I like it.

Good good stuff. Not as attractive as the other SWY but this is (as bottle shows) darker, more of a man's scent, meaning maybe women aren't SUPER attracted to it, but it can be intoxicating. 4 sprays max, good strength. Oud is not the standout note, more leather vanilla, with sandalwood, oud HINT

I have it and I got it for like roughly $60 and I love it , I love how creamy it is especially in its dry down but all I can smell most of the time is a heavy heavy dose of cardamom, I can't smell any leather or lavender etc but a heavy dose of cardamom is very prevalent

I have this one and absolutely. Cannot pick a favorite, they are both BANGERS. My first oud scent and it def opened my eyes to try new stuff in the fragrance world. It smells nutty, woody, all with an airy designer background. It’s light, airy, dark, and gorgeous.
