Ikat Bleu

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it is merely nice. My first reaction is that Ikat blue is poorly blended - vanilla, pepper, wood, and incense are all clawing at each other to be the star of the show, making for one of the least cohesive scents I’ve tried in a while. This being said, the vanilla is truly one of the most luxurious smelling ones out there - Armani privé executes this note perfectly. While being odd, it’s in my opinion an easy wear for night festivities. It is sexy, and unisex. Worth a try.

On skin, vanilla mixed with slight peppery scent throughout. On clothing, bergamot made cameo appearance then incense with slight vanilla, pepper took over. Nothing really made this a worthwhile purchase at all. At least the Ikat Rouge was more interesting with the sweet woody dry down. Silage is about 2m radius initially but becomes skin scent all too soon. Both should be a night perfume since the notes wouldn’t survive the daily activities.

Blast of pink pepper that quickly settles into a powdery and smooth vanilla. Touches of incense and pepper lurk in the backdrop for the life of the fragrance that add an interesting edge. Would be a great seller if the price wasn't so prohibitive

I don’t get any bergamot or freshness. It is very woody vanilla. It is not sweet. I would describe it as an incense fragrance. It’s first smokey then vanillic. But overall it is weird and boring.

Heavily overpriced for what it is.
