Off the bat it smelt powdery, woody but mellow. Funny that I'd felt it was a skin scent, I'll explain more below. Then it developed into a creamy incense, maintaining the woody aspect. The dry down though... So interesting, fresh spicy, woody and sweet. Very classy. Annick Menardo blended this very well! It sorts of deceives you in the beginning into thinking that you'd splashed your money unwisely. Wait 10, 12 or even 24 hours later and you'll be patting yourself on the back. I was blown away when I caught a whiff of something really delicious, tracked it down and realised the shirt that my husband had put away for wash that I'd forgotten about was IT. And that was maybe 2 days old, maybe longer (considering I had forgotten all about it). On skin I'd say it stayed 8 hours with 2 sprays during the day and 12 hours throughout the night and carried to the next morning. It would have lingered on for longer if I hadn't showered. I'm a heavy sprayer, the husband prefers to stay in the realms of 2 - 3. This fragrance was quite difficult to get being limited edition and all (apparently only 1300 units of each variant made according to Giorgio Armani USA site - I dunno), I'm glad my personal shopper managed to get her hands on it. I first saw it on Demi Rawling's IG story, and began my search immediately after since I have similar tastes in fragrance. I'm obsessed. ❤️ Note: I'm an obsessive blind buyer but I recommend to get your nose on it first.

After saying I would not purchase this fragrance because of the price, I had to bite the bullet, I purchased it. This was love at first sniff for me. One of the best and deeper amber fragrances I have ever come across thus far. I can’t believe how good this fragrance smells! Actually, I do, Armani does not release anything but the best. Spicy, warm, seductive, a complete showstopper. Are you planning to seduce someone? Well, this is the perfect fragrance for your plan! I adore amber in perfumes, but this scent just has it all. Intense amber notes, spices and a fresh and crisp top note. Although its rather expensive, it’s worth every penny and sure will get you a lot of attention and plenty of compliments. This fragrance has a lot of depth and develops nicely on almost any skin type. At first bergamot and amber open the rich bouquet. After an hour the main ingredient, amber, starts to show and labdanum completes the experience turning the fragrance into a sensual and captivating scent.

On skin, the first note is incense then it slowly develops into a sweet woody scent. On clothing, however, not incense but bergamot appeared instead. Wherever it goes on, it all comes down to a sweet woody scent. Not at all bold, its a rather intimate scent, choosing to stay close to the skin and may be with an elbow radius. An interesting scent but a very steep price for something that’s just for catching the fancy, a brief interest. Edit. It’s been well over 15hrs and the sweet woody scent still remains on my pillows. (I sprayed on my collar). I’m getting to like this. Change... I am addicted to this dry down sweet woody scent. Is it amber? I guess... but not just that. Can’t really pinpoint that. Might be the guaiac wood. It’s woody, sweet, and addictive...

I have a sample of this from Harrods and it's a beautiful incense , labdanum scent of the highest quality . However it's almost identical to Akkad by lubin which is much more in a reasonable price range but lasts much longer than Akkad . Lovely cosy scent !

For this price range, this should have diamond inside of it or it better comes with a 6'2" 200 lbs muscular man.

This is a strong amber but has a real sourness to it. It's similar to Grand Soir by MFK, but if youfind it a bit too sweet, you'd probably prefer this. I prefer the vanilla of GS myself.

I blind bought this and it is not for me. Concerning the notes I get a powdery-candied-liquorish-vanilla-almond experience. It reminds me a lot of the new Armani Prive release Indigo Tanzanite.

Dear Armani, Kindly reintroduce the rare scent you created to the market, as we wish to purchase and savor it. who has this masterpiece? Send me a message and I will buy it. 10/10 no regret at all.
