My Way Sunny Vanilla

I'm not BIG into perfumes, so I'm definitely not a veteran or professional reviewer. Plus, I'm also not one to 'invest' in perfumes, aka I really don't tend to buy expensive, designer fragrances. But I had gotten this one as a free tester—and it was love at first sniff. Never have I ever been obsessed with any scent like this before. Literally thought about this fragrance for two weeks before folding and buying the largest bottle. Again, I'm usually don't care for perfumes but, for me personally, this scent swept me off my feet. The pineapple smells delicious, and although I do agree with most that it fades overtime into something more underwhelming, I still find it to be a perfect balance in the mix. My favorite note! And with the vanilla...? It's sweet but not too gourmand but not too flowery but not too fruity. It's perfect for me. I literally spray this on myself even when I'm alone in my room, just to have a sniff. 5/5 for me!

I don't like My Way, but I LOVE My Way Sunny Vanilla, so I was surprised to be enjoying this fragrance after receiving it as a sample. It's the perfect tropical scent for a warm sunny spring day. For me, tuberose and pineapple are the dominant fragrances and as a whole, it reminds me of my grandmother's Hawaiian perfumes she used to gift me as a child, but it's not over-the-top, but a sophisticated, gentle, and graceful Hawaiian-inspired fragrance. It's puzzling that they're highlighting the vanilla notes in the name because I don't get any vanilla, but it is definitely the fragrance I find myself going to when the sun comes out.

I agree with the lady who said not to expect it to be completely different from the My Way DNA. However, I have to say that I adore this one far more than the original My Way. The pineapple note is absolutely gorgeous and stands out beautifully. It has exactly the level of sweetness I enjoy very feminine, very sweet, and full of joy. To me, this is the perfect summer fragrance, bright, cheerful, and effortlessly uplifting.🍍

My Way Sunny Vanilla is a stunning perfume!! If you found the original My Way a bit too loud or bubblegum sweet, Sunny Vanilla is the refined, smoother sister you’ve been waiting for. It’s optimistic, effortlessly chic, and a total compliment getter for the spring and summer months. A must try for white floral lovers who want something that feels like bottled sunshine.

I absolutely love it. I don't like vanilla fragrances and didn't like any of the my way flankers or the original my way, but this one is so special, so different...so happy! It's fresh, playful, sweet ( but not gourmand, thank god) I really hope armani never discontinue this one and if they do,i hope i find out soon enough to buy 10000 bottles.

It is a summer scent. Very pleasant fresh pineapple (not sweet), somehow light yet creamy. Like most I don't smell vanilla. Cannot smell it directly on my skin, but keep getting a tantalising whiff here and a swish there that keeps me wanting for more.

I love all of the My Way fragrances, this one is extra juicy, with a touch of vanilla makes it extra sexy! I’m loving the vibe of this flanker. Longevity and projection 10/10

This is quite good. I really get the pineapple note. I wouldn't say it's a juicy tropical pineapple or a fresh pineapple, it's more like an artificial pineapple candy scent. Like jellybeans or pineapple donuts. It's impressive how prominent that pineapple is. It's not until hours later that it starts to tone down and you get more of the white florals. It's not a vanilla-forward fragrance though, in my opinion. I just have to say that in case you are a vanilla lover like me and wanted to try this just for that reason. This perfume is all about the pineapple (which is a note I also happen to like). Overall, this is a like for me. I haven't tested the others in the line, but this is a good one. It really does smell yellow, and it's incredibly long-lasting. I can still smell it on my cardigan from last week!

Sunny Vanilla was launched as a flanker to My Way, yet it doesn't really feel like a flanker to any specific version in this line, it stands entirely on its own. Fortunately, it lacks the original's signature DNA, so no one will ask you which My Way you’re wearing. It is creamy and radiant, yet it avoids the typical "suntan lotion" vibe or a gourmand vanilla profile, another point in its favor. It is so well-blended that it possesses a unique olfactory signature;, at least to me, it doesn't remind me of any other fragrance. It offers great longevity and sillage, what more could you ask for?

As many others have said, I also detect no vanilla in this. In fact, I can barely smell the pineapple, but all I do smell is tuberose and white flowers. This is a tropical, sunny white flower scent. And while I love these types of scents, so I really enjoyed wearing this, it is nothing new or groundbreaking.

Good fruity floral fragrance for summer. Initially I smell a lot of pineapple and then settles down and we smell more of the florals, I'm only able to pick up on the tuberose though. Also very faint to nonexistent vanilla. I think it's a bit basic but safe buy.

Ive got the sample of this and im wearing for the 1st time. First impression is the pineapple is very dominant, not unpleasant but it’s basically all i can smell, no bergamot at all. The dry down though is delicious and more vanilla-ish. My Way Sunny Vanilla is joyful, youthful, inoffensive and bright, it fits summertime perfectly however i dont see myself buying a full bottle of this as it lacks maturity in my opinion. The longevity is moderate as it lasts best on clothes and the sillage is moderate also or this would be potentially cloying. Overall it’s a nice scent for vacations with a decent performance.

This should have been called “sunny pineapple” Pineapple is strong + bubblegum tuberose, vanilla absent... not unpleasant - but not for me. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a pineapple forward fragrance, but Pavlova by Nicolai Parfumeur Createur which incorporates spun sugar and rum is far superior and not that different on price. With Power of You focussing on passionfruit and this flanker focusing on pineapple, I think Armani needs to leave the tropical fruit alone... I have not liked either and they are lacking the typical sophistication and wearability that Armani is known for. Disappointing

I expected something great, it is nice, But not different enough, from the other my way scents which are already out. In the opening I can detect a tiny bit of pineapple behind the flowers. It is nice, but almost the same as my way ylang, probably a little bit less sweet and less juicy in the drydown. I have Ylang, got bored of that too, but I still prefer that over Sunny Vanilla. Don’t expect it to be Vanilla forward, not even pineapple. It’s my way with a bit more Vanilla and little bit of pineapple behind.

Hello my friends 💛. I was waiting for so long to test this perfume because I'm a pineapple lover.. and I'm so disappointed. This is so similar at the first sniff with the my way ylang. A little bit more lighter not so sweet. I was disappointed i was expecting a different note a different smell... The drydown was disappointing also, something wasn't combined, the longevity also was poor in comparison with ylang... test it if you like juicy fruity perfumes but if you have ylang it's not worth it

I got a sample of My Way original and loved it so thought I would get the bottle. While looking around I saw this one and thought it would be so much better with the extra vanilla and sweetness.....WRONG! Is very shap and cloying with way too much tuberose,I really detect no pineapple and the barest hint of vanilla...I’m not sure where the powder went but on dry down it a mild white flower, with light projection ....its fine I guess but not what I was expecting when I read the notes.

I have to conclude that I just don’t enjoy My Way as a line. I am influenced (read: biased) by a moment of My Way Le Parfum ‘get this off me’ scrub horror, but I can’t shake it. On paper, these notes are ideal for me. In reality, this is floral without sweetness and feels like jumping on the vanilla bandwagon to cash in. Performance is decent and objectively it’s a nice floral perfume, but it’s not for me.

Had it as a tester, wore it a couple of days. It's a very sweet, pineapple fragrance, but very friendly. It doesn't develop into anything exiting or original, it doesn't have personality. Love nor hate it

Slight scent of the ananas at the start and then settle down as usual My Way. Nothing special. Disappointed.

I can't detect the vanilla at all in this, smells just like the OG??
