Orange Méditerranée

I had my eyes on FUGAZZI's Orange Crush Extrait De Parfum for some time now, but my opinion changed the MOMENT I smelt this. This is a very orange forward scent, and while it doesn't have the longevity or sillage of Orange Crush Extrait, this smells a bit less synthetic to me, and somewhat more approachable. Orange Méditerranée is like a light mist while Orange Crush is like a wall of fog in terms of performance. Of course you can't talk about orange forward fragrances without mentioning LV's Afternoon Swim, but I haven't had the chance to test it yet. This is a fresh, easy-going scent, heavily inspired by mediterranean vibes, which I love. The citron and bitter orange are not overpowering in my opinion, even in the opening. They don't overstay their welcome as well, the fragrance takes a more aromatic profile within the first hour. Most will still pick Afternoon Swim simply for it's name and reputation, those who still put performance over authenticity will gravitate towards Orange Crush (still highly recommended!), but if you want something with a bit more character to it - this is the one to my nose. And I would expect the price to come down just a bit after it will stay in the marked for a bit more, this being an extremely new release marks up the price.

This lands about halfway on the orangeade to orange grove scale (if LV Afternoon Swim is orangeadey and TF Taormina Orange is orange grove-ish)

Beautiful ..sweet citron with pelargonium elegance...similar elegancy like eau demoiselle... Citron gives a bit headace

Upon first spray , it will be extremely bitter it might turn you off , but give it 5 minutes to transition to the freshie scent its designed to be.. Geranium , tea and a cocktail of cool citruses ❄️🍋 A combination you may familiarise with luxury spa toiletteries , you also get little herbal tones in the background (leaf and fennel) If you usually like jo malone's classics , you probably gonna enjoy this release ..

This is perfect for summer! Some sort of powdery orangey and neroli smell, although I don’t see a neroli note. You can smell that it’s of private line quality and blending

Didn’t like it when i first sprayed it. Too strong and so lemony like cleaning product. but once it dried down it became so beautiful.

So excited! This line has some of my all time favorites
