Si Passione Eclat De Parfum

It is so interesting to read reviews and how a fragrance can be percieved so differently by different people. I am giving my opinion on this as I have seen so many negative reviews, but mine is positive! I own the original Si Eau de Parfum which I like for the autumn or winter, and mostly in the evening I would say. It is a very heavy, almost headache inducing scent for me so I make sure not to overspray, and also I need to give it time to dry down as the opening is so strong I really do not enjoy it, but the dry down makes it worth it for me. I went into a perfumery selling Armani wanting to smell the My Way fragrances (I disliked them all) and the Acqua di Gioia (I disliked the mint note). Feeling so disappointed that nothing on my wishlist was to my liking, I was about to give up when I was suggested to try this one. At first I was very sceptical knowing how strong the original is, and with a name like "passione". However I was so pleasantly surprised. It is a very pleasant fruity fragrance, with calabrian bergamot which is my favourite note, and that subtle (not sickly sweet) hint of blackcurrant. The drydown turns into this very nice rose scent and on my skin I can still smell that hint of blackcurrant which makes it different to other rose perfumes I have. I first tried it in the blotter and then on my skin, and I was in love so I bought a 50ml. I am really enjoying it and actually am comfortable with wearing this a whole day, unlike the original which as I said I find too strong for the day. In terms if longevity I disagree with those saying it disappears after 30 minutes, as it lasts a solid 3-4 hours on my skin. Admittedly not the best for an eau de parfum, however I do not mind reapplying around lunch time. As for sillage I would say this is quite an intimate scent, but again for me this is good as I do not want to give my colleagues or clients a headache. I worry that this will be discontinued eventually since it is a flanker but I will definitely enjoy it till it lasts! I highly suggest for you to try it if the notes sound like your vibe!

Oh. My. Goodness gracious. This is just sensational. Wow wow. Wow!!!! 10/10. Everything about this. I would wear this and will wear this year round. Day. Night. Summer. Spring. Fall. Winter. Beautiful. Clean. Fresh. Sweet. Syrupy. Musky. Not too heavy. Has just enough hint of the new version of Si Intense. Has enough Si Passione variation. But. It’s a stand out star. Beautiful fresh vibrant floral with juicy berry. Rose. Musk. Just. Amazing. Light enough that it’s not sicky sweet. Smells EXPENSIVE and feels fresh on your skin. One or two sprays and you’re wet with the application. Heavy sprays and you’re NOTICED. Just a major wow factor. If you love fruity fresh grown musky scents. This is that fragrance. Pop for the big bottle because it’s a beautiful bottle for your collection. 10/10 scent 10/10 packaging/presentation. I believe next to Si Fiori this may be my absolute fave. Armani did it AGAIN with Passione Eclat! 😍

Well, I think an "easy-grab-n-go" merits a few words too: I have been testing this fragrance many times since it was launched this spring and can confirm the complaints about longevity (on skin) and the best part being the top notes. But still, I absolutely love the top notes and like the drydown. I think the scent pyramid is a classic (and understand that some might call it common) and works very well in moderate spring/summer temperatures. There is the fresh, the floral and the little bit of sweet. For me pleasant isn't a swearword. I need an easy everyday scent for the summer and I have made my mind, this is my grab-n-go for the summer of 2022, I'm aiming for a big bottle to spray and respray as much as I like and have even found a website that sells it for an approriate price!

This is a simple yet beautiful perfume. At first I was very underwhelmed by the scent because I expected more from the hype that the Sí line has. But the more I smelled it the more I started liking it. It’s subtle, floral and just gorgeous. I would have never guessed that it has roses. I noticed that there’s no note that stands out more that the other. You can definitely smell each one individually when you pay attention to the notes, but I think the beauty of the perfume is that all notes are well blended. Sillage and longevity are not great so I think it’s a bit overpriced. Will probably get it when it’s on sale. It’s also nowhere near the very good girl glam fragrance.

This opens bright and luminous. It has a strong rose but not the old rose from the 80s, it's a modern rose. It smells really good! It is fresh, vibrant and smells clean. It still has the Armani Si DNA with the black currant, but it is the rose that dominates this fragrance. It has a hint of vanilla in the dry down but it is not as sweet as Si. Unlike the Si Passione which disappears almost immediately on my skin, this lasts a good 8 hrs on me - I do about 6-8 sprays all over my skin. It has good projection but not overpowering. I love it!! Get this over Si Passione! It is a much better buy in my opinion.

I have never smelled the Si line before. I went to take a look of all of the flankers and this was the only one I liked: Eclat 😍 Beautiful scent from Armani, it is just sensational. Wow!!!! Everything about this scent is great. For me this is a spring-summer perfume 😍 It is just Beautiful ,clean, fresh, sweet, musky. Not too heavy. It lasts super long on my skin, till next day. Also also on clothes. People around me love this smell ❤️

I love this one, something is drawing me to this fragrance, it's a sparkling, fruity, citrusy, fresh apricot to me, quite refreshing. Also some light rose, but it is not prominent to my nose. It is a pefect for summer and spring as it is light and uplifting fragrance. The projection might not be strong, more on soft side but I can smell it on me throughout the day. I like it the most out of the Passione line.

i don’t think there’s a sí flanker i dislike tbh! i love rose scents and i love fruity scents. sí passione is very romantic and sensual. it reminds me of trips to paris and fancy hotel rooms and kisses. some undertones of it remind me of chloé’s roses. i wouldn’t call it a safe blind buy but definitely give it a go

This perfume smells verry seductive, a bit sweet, a bit like shampoo in the beginning, fruity and floral. I had sprayed on my hand ( 1 time) and felt it for a couple of hours , so if you spray more it will last longer. It is verry beautiful, my favorite from the line .

Si Eclat is to Si Passione what Delina La Rosee is to the OG Delina. A lighter, fresher, brighter, more sparkly aquatic version of the OG. I’m loving Si Eclat. I over spray and get decent longevity out of it. Nothing too serious or fussy, just sexy, modern and classy.

I love this fragrance and I love roses. Performance isn’t good on me so I have a purse spray. It is a safe fragrance and sometimes that’s just what I need. It’s the beautiful roses that do it for me and the fact that now I can get it for a good price.

The first spray is bright and sweet yet zesty citrus with a strong undertone of roses and berries. At drydown I smell a gorgeous vanilla skin scent. I love this perfume!

The blackcurrant note in this is gorgeous. Dries down to a lovely musky rose that is quite long lasting for this type of perfume. My new favourite spring fragrance!

This beauty lasted on my skin 24 hours. Im not saying it was loud on my skin, but it was still apparent. It probably wouldve lasted longer, but I had to bathe.

I got obsessed from the first whiff. This perfume smells amazing. I do get the rose but for some reason, I get some guava undertones too.

A bit synthetic, scent is OK, not too fresh and unfortunately as someone said zero lasting, I have to spray it every 3 hours...

Smells vibrant, luminous, and joyfully radiant. Feels like a sunlit celebration — bright, uplifting, and impeccably poised.

To me this is a winter scent and in all honesty I don't get the votes saying this could be a spring or summer scent. The scent is not in the slightest airy or light enough to be worn in said seasons and whenever I wore it during those seasons I would DIE. This scent to my nose is one of the heaviest to exist. It was my signature scent for a year, until I couldn't no more. Wore it obsessively, I loved how deep and expensive it smelled. I had received it as a gift so I took the chance. After a year of wearing it, it kind of stinks to me. It wreaks of heavy patchouli. I cannot detect any patchouli in the notes whatsoever. Kind of became the original Si Passione as time went by, which I really am not a fan of. But it's ok. I loved this scent, because I love Vanilla Citrus smelling perfumes. The longevity is eternal. I would spray it on myself and still smell it on my clothes. My ex boyfriend would always detect me from my scent, that, according to him, could fill a room with just two sprays. It is a compliment getter. If you need something heavy, that's not quite as heavy, go for it.

I absolutely adore the scent of this, it’s an uplifting, black current and rose with a sparkling bergamot. It’s very straight forward and crowd pleasing, but for what it is I think it smells divine. The issue I have is the performance is abysmal on my skin and it performs like a cologne (not even an EDT and it’s supposed to be an EDP). An hour tops before it disappears. I still gave it a 4 because it smells so beautiful and you can get it for a decent price but so wish it performed better. If it did I’d load up on backups as I believe it’s discontinued now. I tried Si passione EDP doesn’t have the same sparkling effect unfortunately. Give it a try if your skin holds onto perfumes well or you don’t mind topping up constantly.

I am a huge fan of Si, so when I saw this I blind bought it after looking at the notes. I just opened it and sprayed it. The Original Si is the alluring 'that girl' fragrance. Si Fiori is the 'garden party' fragrance. Si Intense 2021 is the 'cozy, intimate corner booth with the ones you love most' fragrance. Si Passione Eclat is a May Saturday morning with the windows open. It is clean and soapy, but still lovely. I didn't have the dizzying, falling-in-love experience that I had with the original Si, but I do really like it. It doesn't smell like the whirlwind romance that some of the other ones pull, but it does smell like being settled in a healthy relationship and eating brunch.

I thought this was the clean version.. On fabric you get the dry rasberry syrupy rose plus clean type dry rose etc. On card this went really clean and I loved it. Longevity is poor for the price, I I three hours of close wear. $130 for a little 30ml is extortionate. This goes a bit more rosey as it wears. Leans dry if you know what I mean.. somenof tbe other si go warm and retain the warm cooked fruit thingthey have going, this one 'cleans' out as it wears. This eclat is the 'quiet' Si I've got several from the line. Price would have to come down for me to get this one

Compared to Sì Passione intense, this one opens with more juicy blackcurrent, which quickly fades to reveal somewhat of a rose chypre with mossy bitterness and vanilla tinted white musk in the background. *These two fragrances have different structures and are sweet in different ways, but the difference in the flowers aren't actually that great. I think this one is marketed towards more mature women (than Angel Nova for example) since it's less sweeet.

The SI line is a great line to me so had to add this to my collection. It is just pretty, however it doesn't have longerity I either mix it with similar SI fragrance and or respray it and I don't mind doing either. I have a small bottle of this so its still a win. Its light fragrance for days when I want to smell sweet but not overwhelming.

I really like this female fragrance. The other day I met with a female friend and asked her what she was wearing - she mentioned this one. It smelled really good on her, quite feminine and also mature/ elegant. Not just another sweet ‘Young scent’ pumped with vanilla. Try it if you see it :)

Woohoo! This is a bright, fun, beautiful scent that smells like expensive shampoo. The currant is wonderfully present and the rose is fresh expressive. It is light, an easy reach, and perfect for everyday wear. I just wish the projection was stronger!

Beautiful fruity floral fragrance. I love the blackcurrant and the rose in the dry down and I’m not even a fan of rose in perfumes. The longevity could be better but it’s a nice spring/summer fragrance

I do like it but to be honest the first time it arrived I expected more. It's not bad but it's not that special either. Overall it's alright

I like this version, but it is intimate. Sweet, undefined, spacious, alluring. A good bedtime scent. Though intensity says daytime too.

mid, I'd use it as a gift but not buy it myself. Too powdery, but nice and sweet otherwise.

I own the original Si from when it first came up, Si rose edition and Si Fiori. All of them perform well and I love. I wanted this based on the gorgeous red bottle and the notes in the description, so I got a 50ml, without testing. I mean, roses, vanilla, black currant and bergamot, what could possibly go wrong? I love all those notes! Well, it's sheer disappointment. The accent is on "sheer", more than disappointment. The top fruity notes disappear within minutes. All bergamot and black currant is gone in less than 5 minutes, or it was exactly the black currant that gave the original Si that oomph. What follows is a rose, delicate, demure, lovely in the beginning, which then quickly turns powdery, as in baby powder. The vanilla is just a hint, and a clean white musk is what is left. The scent definitely doesn't match the fiery red bottle. Minimal silage, poor lasting power on skin, a bit better on clothes, innocent yet boring, I suppose this scent is good for work environments with "no perfume" policies, where you still want to wear something nice, expensive, elegant, but pretend you aren't wearing anything and it's just your very fine and clean skin releasing its natural odour. Overall, to me, it's not worth the money. Try before buying if you can, because unless you are specifically looking for a delicate, inoffensive, powdery and slightly sweet light scent, you will be disappointed. Then again, it is very wearable, and it's highly unlikely anyone would complain that you're wearing perfume. Same vibe as Bond No. West Side.

Update September, 2024: While this is still a S/S fragrance to me, I otherwise agree with DopamineHunter. I'll continue to wear it into F/W because I think I'm tired of it and some note is too dominant to me now and I'm honestly over it, even though it's still nice enough to use up. I won't save it for special occassions anymore. I won't repurchase. I'm not even sure I want the original Si anymore either, though I'd planned to buy it this Fall. Update: My impression has remained unchanged and the scent is definitely best suited to Summer use, at least on my skin. I wouldn't even begin to wear it in Spring - it was just okay in Spring where we didn't have many warm days. I'll write an update or a proper review sometime in Spring and probably again in Summer. On first spritz in my warm home here in the Winter, it's a soft, happy, bright and classy scent. I think it's a like. It's rare for me to love warmer weather scents. Hopefully it's appropriate for my graduation in 2023 and silver wedding anniversary in 2024. I'll soon be working in a social -and healthcare job where I can only wear fragrances after work or on days off. I bought 50ml, so I hope this will last me 2-4 Summers. After having looked at other people's photos, I feel stupid for being surprised at how orange the bottle is - and heavy. There's a lot of extra glass there.

Update Sept. 2024: I don't know if my skin has become disagreeable with white musk or what it is that turns into a very dominant blond wood note on my skin - blond wood has never worked well with my skin, but I can only wear Sí Passione Eclat as a layering fragrance with a sweeter fragrance since sometime in August. It still dries down to black currant and rose, so it's not a hate yet. I'll just use it up faster than I'd intended. On what feels like a warm Summer day, the bergamot in Sí Passione Eclat de Parfum shines in a way out it didn't on the cool March day last year, when I wore the same parfume for my graduation. Today (married 15.05.1999) on my silver wedding/25th anniversary, it's a glam Summer fragrance and very fitting for the occasion. I can't smell the vanilla though and I like vanilla. Black currant and rose last the longest. The Bergamot shines on warm days but isn't very noticeable on me otherwise.

Take this review lightly because it will be a negative one! Also, wear whatever you want and suits your taste, but this rose scent smells young and watery in my opinion! Maybe get it if this is your first rose scent.. I will never understand why Giorgio Armani discontinued Si Intense, black bottle from 2014 and clear one from 2021 and released this mediocre, shampoo like, cheap smelling rose scent, with a hint of blackcurrant and citrus, in a pretty red bottle. I will give it that, I like the red bottle better than the black! For the price these Si are being currently sold, don’t bother. This version, Si Eclat is a skin scent within an hour from application. Lasts for about 4 hours on clothing, but that if you overspray seriously!

Passione Éclat, why must you disappoint me? While I am absolutely in love with Si Passione EDP, Éclat, however, failed to impress me. The scent profile reminds me of Davidoff Cool Water for women, so it’s nothing unique. At least Cool Water has more personality. Unlike the EDP, it does not smell soapy or shampoo-like. Imagine mixing a dash of bergamot juice in water and then adding lots of rose petals in it and stiring it. The scent you get will remind you of Passione Éclat. I do wish the black currant note was more pronounced. The scent just falls flat. There’s no transition, no projection, and the lasting power is embarrassingly bad.

Like, it’s fine. Just fine. A mish-mash of floral fruity notes, with poor projection and sillage. I get some bergamot, I get the rose and I get the vanilla. It’s inoffensive, could be worn anywhere and probably feels nice on a sunny day. It smells a bit like the Si Passione but it felt fruitier. I’ve learned that I’m not a fan of the Armani Si line - none of them felt very groundbreaking. It inspired a scent memory...Red Jeans. Not quite as cloying but just as pungent. Performance does not match price here. Not one I’ll ever buy again.

The best of Si series for me. This is one of the very few fragrances where (I feel) red currant is very bright, but it is not even listed here. Ha-ha! It's a lovely perfume where sweetness and acidity flirt with each other. I am glad the rose is hidden here. But at the same time it's too generic for my taste: something that every second girl wears, something that everyone likes, but something that does not wow and does not stay in your mind. A very pleasant fruity flora smell - I personally don't get any of the base notes. The blackcurrant gives this a "red" smell something like a sweet and juicy red rose. There isn't much to say about this perfume it's just rather bland nice but nothing more. I believe it would be suited to wear from summer to autumn I don't believe it would stand up well in the cold. Very traditional feminine.

Inoffensive Fruity fragrance with weak performance. Maybe just for 3-4 hours than it’s just shyly stay on clothes, you almost can’t smell it on skin. Try it on yourself, i tried on paper before buying and it was quite long lasting on it. beautiful perfume anyway but don’t expect to last the whole day. *i wear it daily on office so yeah indoor with full aircon and it doesn’t stay 🤷🏻♀️

I love the entire Armani Si range and I blind bought this fragrance. Massive mistake. Has ZERO lasting power. I've had bath and body works body mists last longer than this perfume. It doesn't have the DNA of the others in the Si range and dries down to a bit of a BO smell. I'm going to sell mine on my marketplace. Disappointed.

I'm dying to try this. I want something that smells like Pantene, yes! LOL ETA: Eh. Not for me. It is ok, but muskier and more mature than I would like. Agreed with someone who said there is a hint of cosmetic powder. I enjoy the citrus fruity parts, but have no place for Si Eclat in my collection.

I’m not sure how I feel about this scent. When I first got it I loved it. Feminine, sexy, floral scent. But after some uses I started to feel like the scent is more suitable for women in their 40s. It’s a beautiful scent indeed, but a little bit heavy for everyday use.

Opening is really gorgeous, but thats it, 10 secs later its flat musky rosey scent and nothing special. Wished the opening stayed through out the scent, it wouldv'e been a great scent. I am disappointed and NOPE, not a hit. Nothing special at all.

As much as I like Si Passione, I do not care at all for this flanker. It smells very fruity and floral, like a mix of body spray and shampoo, surprisingly mature, and it lasts 30 minutes on my skin.

Got a sample of this. No. Prefer the passione over this. Heady, strong , pungent, headache inducing. It's ok but not a scent i would purchase. Nothing unique about it. Been done and redone.

Something in this reminds me of Burberry Her, so it’s a no for me. I checked the list of this perfume reminds me of, and no one mentions this, so I guess it’s just me, then.

This is nice. Feminine, soft and elegant. It’s a good scent if you like clear, modern roses. It’s easy to like but nothing groundbreaking.
