Sì Passione Red Maestro

I am so disappointed this was a limited edition flanker. I would buy this perfume again and again. I am just so grateful I was able to get the one bottle from ebay, and I will cherish every drop. This perfume smells sexy vanilla evening, and uplifting, at the same time. You get the amazing smell of black currants, which I just love, and that delicious sexy vanilla smell that you get in Jean Paul Gaultier's Classique Essence, or Valentino's Donna Born in Roma, with that uplifting solar note...which is very hard to describe. It does smell sunny...although that is not a real smell. It's like the smell of a light pineapple... if pineapple was zero sour? Any whoo, it's a wonderful smell that brightens the deep black currant and warm vanilla smell, to make it... intoxicating. Longevity is decent, projection is good, bottle is fabulous with the deep red, and ribbon around the glass bottle.. love this perfume. All my thumbs are up.

Blind buy. OMG! This is really good!! I have to sniff myself all the time :D Fresh, beautiful, fruity, mysky-vanilla with solar notes. Sillage and performance are very good. I have Si and Si Passione intense (i didn't like Si Passione) and i think this is The best of them all. Ps. I testes Fiori and it is also good.

This is a beautiful perfume, I never cared to much for the other flankers but this smells just lovely and I have been looking for a new perfume for ages and I’m super fussy , love this brought the large 😊

I love it but this isn't a unique fragrance. For me, the longevity isn't as good as Si Fiori.

This is another FB worthy flanker which is unfortunately discontinued. Gorgeous red bottle with satin ribbons, similar to the Rose Signature II aesthetic. The only decent perfume within the passione line, if you ask me. So not sure why Armani would discontinue it and not its weaker sisters. This one has some oomph & presence. As a previous review said, the solar notes helps radiate the typically flat blackcurrant, improving sillage. I’m sure the musk here helps too. Red Maestro has the dna of fiore but is distinctive by the added solar notes & jasmine. Opens with a rich burst of blackcurrant sorbet, then the creamy elevated solar notes come into play, which blends well with the musky-vanilla drydown. The scent journey is more smooth & linear than its compadres & remains as this beautiful combination for many hours on me. This flanker projects well for 2 hours or so before settling to a more intimate volume, where on my skin it remains for 5+ hours in cool weather. I think it can also be worn well in warm/hot weather without becoming cloying or annoying. But personally I choose to wear in Autumn through to Spring. I do enjoy wearing Si Eclat in summer though. Maestro is like the offspring between Fiori & Passione to my nose, with a touch of tropical (without any coconut) twist added. And it works quite effortlessly & beautifully. A shame they discontinued this one & left the weaker, lacklustre passiones in the market. Some of the Si flankers have been so underwhelming. In my humble opinion the only FB worthy ones to date & which I still luckily own & sparingly use are: Le Parfum, the og Si Intense, Fiori, Eclat, Red Maestro & the latest Intense with the gilded bottle. The others, I pay dust to for their low performance & it-factor. Performance wise, I would say Maestro is outclassed by Fiori’s sillage & longevity but still pretty good. Also Maestro is so nice layered with CH Very Good Girl. Anyway, if you do get a fleeting chance to try this rare version, go ahead - I doubt anyone would be too disappointed, as it’s an easily likeable, tastefully blended and yet fun-flirty scent. This is coming from a woman in their early 40’s. It works well in various daytime & evening settings too 🌺
