Wild Rose

This smells great! I'm quite impressed. Of all the Gisou hair perfumes, this is the only one that actually smells like perfume. At first it's a sticky honey scent with jammy rose. Then over time the rose develops more and the honey disappates. Eventually it dries down to a beautiful juicy, fruity rose perfume. Very similar to CH Very Good Girl in my opinion, just a bit sweeter from that hint of honey. It's also the strongest of the Gisou line. I think this is a great scent! My only thing is that I'm not sure I would want this hair perfume as it reminds me of my actual perfumes, which tend to get in my hair a little bit anyway. And with CH VGG it lasts in my hair all day and night, strongly. So I wouldn't see the need to buy a dedicated hair perfume with such a similar scent. Absolutely lovely if you have nothing like this in your collection, though.

i really like this- the dry down almost has an underlying note of like an old, musty, and rich book- of course along with the sweetness and rosiness you get on the first spray and then throughout the whole wear. this is a hair perfume but i've tried it on my skin and it sits very well there too. i honestly prefer it on my skin to in my hair (that is not to say i don't like it in my hair). once i buy it i plan to layer it with ouai's melrose place, they don't smell similar but they compliment each other well imo. gisou's wild rose is much sweeter and more gourmand than melrose place, which is pretty much a musky and clean rose with a hint of fruit.

incredible. one of the best scents i've ever smelled. the rose is luxurious, classy, powdery and sweet. makes my hair smell like heaven. but i also spray this on my clothes as a regular perfume. definitely a holy grail, i use this bottle up and will repurchase when it's out. i'm a huge rose lover in perfumes and i'm a little picky about my rose, but so far this is the best rose scent in my collection.

The entire collection of Gisou hair perfumes smells like luxury. Wild Rose is seductive, yet classy and truly great for every occasion. The rose isn't cloying or dated, but it is soft and beautiful. It has the same compliment factor, classiness, scent DNA as Delina, but isn't a dupe. It's a love for me!

I did not love this at first. But the more I used it, the more I loved it. It's just so.. gentle smelling. Stays close to the body, and has decent longevity for a hair perfume. This is one of those scents where I do not love it immediately when I spray it, yet love it so much after.

I am obsessed with this hair fragrance. Absolutely obsessed! To me this smells like roses with honeyed berries. I’ve been wearing this combination of Wild Rose + Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile and it is SO good! I have quite a perfume collection but I can’t get enough of it.

I think i found my signature scent, this is everything im looking for in a perfume and more!! I love the top notes, i find this easy to layer with my other rose perfumes. When i wear it, i feel like princess laying in a garden of roses eating a rhubarb pie 😋

year round wear. reminds me of rose milk icecream drizzled with honey. big compliment getter when baddies hug you, but one time i wore this to work and my boss reminded me that there was a no fragrance policy because of how strong the silage is lol.

I LOVE HER. Not a rose for my nose, but a very beautiful peony. I only use it on my hair and it is the most luxurious feeling ever. Eternal longevity, btw.

I was really excited to recieve this perfume. It was a blind buy, but from the notes I thought it might be something for me. As soon as I smelled it from the bottle, it smelled pretty good, very sweet and I definitely could smell the rose note. But when I began to really think about how it smells, the rose note started to trigger me.. It’s strong and a little bit grandma-smelling for me. But I don’t know if the thing is in the rose note or something else that is triggering me 🥴 I really wanted to like this, but maybe it’ll grow on me. I just wish it was as sweet as when I smelled it from the bottle. Coming back to the rose note, I really like Delina, but they really don’t smell the same. The Gisou perfume is more sweet, soft and old-smelling when Delina is more floral and fresh and not that sweet so the rose note is not triggering the nose. Update: I let it sit for a bit and I really enjoy it now, the note that was throwing me off I believe was the honey note. Now that I have smelled more perfumes that have the honey note in them, I could point it out pretty well😄

At the opening of the perfume, I smell a very strong scent of rhubarb, as if you had cooked some vegetables and it was in your hair. After 30 minutes, the wild rose scent starts to intensify and come to the forefront, but the rhubarb scent is still felt in the back and I don't like this note at all. After 1 hour, the scent gets better and there is completely a natural true wild rose scent. I honestly can't feel the base notes. Overall, it's not bad but I don't think I will buy it again. I don't think it's similar to Delina because it's fruity fresh but it smells very natural, far from synthetic.

This one is unfortunately not something that I reach for often. I'm a bigger fan of the original hair perfume; however, this one does stand out to my nose. I feel like there is a slight spiciness to this that throws me off of the sweetness I'd expect to get from it. There's definitely a vanilla presence, which goes well with the rose. But I can't get over those background notes unfortunately. It might be from the mixture of florals. I think I need to wear this more often to really grow accustomed to it.

I've been enjoying this one a lot this year and am now on my second bottle. The scent is wonderful and projects well. A warm, sweet honey rose that pairs really well with many of my perfumes. Unfortunately it doesn't last very long, so I have to spray several times a day to keep that rosy scent bubble going. Still love it!

What’s crazy is that I sung the praises of this fragrance when I first tested it, but I tried it again at Selfridges today and it was so cloying. I couldn’t smell any roses. Odd, as I remember it smelling like Delina but with honey notes (similar to the original Gisou hair perfume). I need to try it again someplace else but for the meantime I’ll have to take it off my wishlist.

This is not bad! I generally just don't reach for florals and this was a blind buy. If you like floral scents you might really enjoy this. It's like an enhanced pollen smell. Good, just not for me.

I gave this fragrance a fair chance—several days of testing on skin, clothes, hair, and strips—hoping it would reveal a hidden charm. Instead, what unfolded felt like a sensory battle I couldn’t win. The opening hits me like a rosewater-drenched Sweet Tart, sharp and candied with an oddly artificial bite. The rhubarb and quince come crashing in with a sour, almost puckering tartness that clings to the rose, dragging it into a territory that feels both syrupy and abrasive. As it settles, there’s a peculiar sweetness—praline and cacao whispering over tart, berry-stained petals—that feels mismatched, like velvet draped over plastic. On my skin, the result veers into something unsettling, a clash of sweetness and musk that reads more like overheated skin than elegance- always slightly sour and sweaty at the edges. I should note: It isn’t my favorite, but I don’t dislike the Delina DNA. I can appreciate the lychee-rose pairing in other contexts, where it feels luminous and whimsical. But here, it’s too tart, too sweet, too forced. For me, this is not a bouquet; it’s an impression of candied petals wilting under the weight of a soured berry syrup.

Just a little review to share that GISOU WILD ROSE smells similar to DELINA and DELINA EXCLUSIF. The scent GISOU WILD ROSE starts out with a rose accord mixed with a strong lychee / litchi fruit accord. As GISOU WILD ROSE dries down, the lychee / litchi note becomes more like a curry or rhubarb note, which makes it smell like a softer version of the original DELINA perfume. In this phase it is also similar to DELINA EXCLUSIF, but less gourmand than Exclusif. Last but not least, GISOU WILD ROSE also reminds me of the following scents: - ROSE GARDEN by Nina Ricci - GLASS ROSE by Mix Bar If you enjoy perfumes that have ROSE mixed with LYCHEE or ROSE mixed with RHUBARB, you may enjoy this scent. Sillage, projection and longevity are actually quite good.

Delina Exclusif dupe, but even sweeter and more vanilla. Lasts for hours. I also want to note that this smells a lot more natural than Delina. Delina is extremely synthetic, so if you are sensitive to that this is a great option. Edit: I agree with the person below that this kinda smells like old books. The tester bottle in the store didn't but the one I got does. I let it sit for a few days but I still smell it and it's not pleasant

I got asked if I was wearing Delina Exclusif when wearing this. It smells amazing but it is a little overpowering sometimes. I think this would work best in cold weather

Smells like Swedish fish to me. Very sweet, doesn't smell like rose to me but I see rose as more of a rose water scent so idk.

i'm a hater, the grossest thing i've ever smelled, i think i just hate rose perfumes ;(
