Great summer fragrance, highly recommend

This is a solid fragrance. I do understand the "generic" comments, but it's mostly because of the ambroxan note, which I do admit is kind of in your face. At first spray I immediately thought of Sauvage, but after a few minutes to an hour the ambroxan mellows out. I actually find that this has a bit of a salty note to it, even though nothing like that is listed. Once the ambroxan tones down it smells very fresh and salty, like ocean air, so I think Fraiche is the perfect name for it. Longevity seems to be great. I tend to go noseblind to fragrances very quickly, but I only sprayed it twice the other day around noon and my wife complimented me out of nowhere around 6pm when I walked by her. It's kind of hard to find these days, so it's probably not worth the prices it's going for, but it's a solid scent. If I had to sum it up, I'd say it's like Dior Sauvage but a bit less synthetic and slightly more citrusy fresh. Overall 7/10

The opening smells like home-made lemonade. It's sparkly and effervescent, sweet, and lemony. I really like it. It reminds me a little of Jimmy Choo Man Ice. They don't smell the same but they both have that sweet, lemonade vibe. It softens up in the mid and drydown, losing the effervescence and sweetness. I wish it had better performance. I feel like the Jimmy Choo performs better and is considerably cheaper. Generally, I have had a soft spot for Givenchy since the 80's so I want them to be as good as possible. This is nice but not their best. I really like it for an hour or so and then I feel disappointed. Another reviewer compared it to Aqva Atlantiqve. That fragrance has excellent performance. I wish this performed like that. If it did, it would be one of my top 5 summer fragrances for sure. As it is now, I doubt it's in my top 10.

Another fresh, ambroxan-based cologne. There's nothing wrong with it at all. It's quite pleasant. That being said, if you have Sauvage, Dylan Blue, Aqva Atlantiqve, or literally any other similar fragrance, you have no need for this. Givenchy is late to the party here.

Gentlemen Only Fraiche is a slight reworking of the previous year's freshie, Parisian Break. It's the same core ingredients but with a slightly different distribution. The perfume has a moderate sillage and lasts a fair while - I get between ten and twelve hours depending mostly on the weather. It's one of many citrus + mint openers with a heart of sage and ambroxan in the base. Unfortunately the ambroxan tends to give that shower gel and a slight headache vibe if you overspray, which is very easy to do with the freshies. There isn't anything original about the creation, though that's not the be all and end all of things, but it is reasonably well executed. As others have said, if you have something similar there's no reason to own this unless you're collecting Givenchy perfumes. The bottle is satisfyingly well made and a high quality item but the juice inside is unremarkable. If you like ambroxan you should get on very well with this but, if like me, you don't, then it's just going to be something that's there. Alas, I only realised my relationship with ambroxan after I purchased this.

On an official promo placard for the gentleman only line, it is implied that GO: Fraiche is for morning walks, and I’d say it’s executed appropriately for that. It’s a nice, brisk lemon that has a faint resemblance to the GO DNA, but only lasts for that 1-2 hour walk. trying to compare this to Issey miyakes Leau bleue eau fraiche modern day pricing where GO fraiche calls an outlandish $180+/100ml while issey sits at around an outstanding $40 I realized the battle was moot because while Issey is better value, better performing, and generally a great atomizer/presentation... it just doesn’t have the remarkable GO DNA. Fortunately I was able to pull GO fraiche at msrp in todays discontinued age and if not for that I’d feel I overpayed. GO:Chic all the way and that I would pay $120/100ml

Very sharp, extremely clean soapy frag. It is pleasant but it is sooooo boring even for me, a person who loves nice simple smells that stay lineral and don't develop. Sage and ambroxin with a strong citrus mint in the opening. The opening with those mint citrus combo is the best stage of this fragrance. It dies down to an ambroxain and vetiver. This is a fragrance for someone who is starting starts their frag journey, so they pick up something without looking, first frag they smell. Nothing captivating abut it. And mind you, few notes only can be very captivating... some citrus, woods, patchouli, incense ̧ and you get an amazing simple safe frag. This one is... meh. Much much better frags out there that are clean and soapy and do a much better job. Longevity and projections are decent. If you love the original, you can try this but the original is stronger and has more character. This is not bad but too similar to the original, just a bit more fresher and lighter and ofc, less lasting that the original. This is for someone who wants to smell fresh and clean, soapy clean on a budget.

I tried this yesterday and am sure that it is simply last year's Gentlemen Only Parisian Break repackaged...therefore I recommend reading the reviews of that to get a good idea of this latest version. Good performance and longevity - seemingly more so than Parisian Break, and therefore of the two I would recommend getting this.

The notes speak volume this is a mainstream commercial perfume made to make money off people who don't posses the knowledge and passion in the world of fragrances. Money rules!

A very well done generic scent. Clean and sophisticated. The mint, sage and ambroxan creates a very crisp fresh scent. It’s gets compliments. Longevity is the only downside.

Underrated fragrance from this line. Really nice minty, citrusy summer grab & go but with a bit of uniqueness.

Sage and Ambroxan. ohh no. Boring.
