Givenchy Harvest 2010 Amarige Ylang Ylang

I agree with the review below mine 100%. And I bought my first bottle after reading it. It’s the ylang that I’ve been searching for. My search is over.

I love, love, love, loooove it. I'm glad I've still found a sealed bottle. Such a divine feminine fragrance. Almost a soliflore Ylang Ylang.

I just sprayed it on myself after this long time I've had it in my possession!And I have to say I'm totally content!I love the note of ylang ylang and this perfume is dominated by it.DOMINATED! I literraly only smell this gorgeous flower when I sniff my wrist.it's sweet but not too much,and oh so clean!On first apply I got all the freshness !!!!!!I'm going to test sillage and longevity tonight by doing the little trick of spraying behind my knees!hihihi!more tomorrow!

came back after 6 and a half hours since I applied.I can still smell my perfume,though it has turned all powdery and sweet <3 it's a lovely drydown!!!!!

Let me just start off by asking, why oh why is this not more hyped up? This is truly niche quality! It saddens me that many niche brands get a lot of unwarranted hype than these rare and beautiful creations (it’s far more affordable as well!). I digress... The opening of this yellow gem hums a lullaby sung by dainty Neroli petals on a bed of juicy peach and orange. This opening, albeit being utterly stunning, disappears in about 10 minutes. This then starts to set the stage for the star of the show. The cynosure of it all; Ylang-Ylang! The Ylang here is bright and creamy. It radiates warmth and you feel lit from within when you’re near its radiant glow. Soft mimosa together with a stately tuberose commences it’s graceful waltz, all the while remaining only a backup act as the main act remains ever so steadfast and strong. A symphony of a smooth powdery choir sung by sandalwood, sweetened by a delectable vanilla begins to emerge and blends seamlessly with the Ylang as it dries down. The vanilla here is not your typical baked good type. This is deeper, reserved and mixed with tonka and a beautiful thick resinous Amber. If yellow, the colour, had a smell, this would be it! This is what I envision bees hurriedly carrying back to their hives. It’s truly a divine nectar, taking the already stunning Amarige dna one step further! I wonder if the 2014 bottle's will have the same 'vintage' effect as the 2011 did. Considering the harvest issue.
